Besides the special [Bluff Duel Stage], the system also rewarded Luya with a Genshin Deck.
He wondered what cards it contained—perhaps he could test it out at the Lantern Rite Duel Tournament.
There was also a [Material Analyzer]. This machine was stored in his inventory to be examined after finishing the shop upgrade. He planned to study its purpose and functions later.
After Luya finished checking the rewards, five Normal Duel Stages appeared as usual.
The shop expanded again.
However, unlike before…
A single white-glowing Duel Stage appeared in the very center of the shop, accompanied by the stirring Yu-Gi-Oh! BGM.
Luya felt his blood ignite, recalling the thrill of watching Yugi summon [Summoned Skull] for the first time in his childhood.
How time flies—back then, he was only four or five years old, watching Yu-Gi-Oh! on TV, dreaming of becoming a Duelist.
On the [Bluff Duel Stage], a faint image of Yugi himself appeared briefly, then faded.
Unlike a normal stage, this one was vast—nearly four times larger. It promised far greater unpredictability and fun in duels.
Luya's available Mora now totaled 94.21 million—nearly 100 million!
Albeit this upgrade would cost 80 million.
Each upgrade grew more expensive; even so, it was necessary. Upgrading meant faster profits and unlocking new functions.
At present, he could still upgrade daily, though higher levels would soon be much harder.
Each time doubled the cost—next time, it would require 160 million Mora.
He focused his mind on the upgrade option and confirmed. Blue light engulfed the shop. As always, the building shook during renovation.
His balance dropped instantly by 80 million, leaving only 14.21 million Mora.
Nearly wiped out.
Yet, the shop's stats all rose—Level 4 to Level 5!
Though it hurt to spend so much, Mora could always be earned back. After a moment's thought, he felt no regret.
⌈Shop Level: 5 (Not Upgradeable)⌋
╵Normal Duel Stages: 25
╵Bluff Duel Stages: 1
╵Area: 2,000 sq.m.
╵Daily Automatic Card Pack Generation: 5,000
╵Card Furnaces: 6 (Available for Purchase)
╵Electronic Duel Game Machines: 10
╵Available Mora: 14.21 million
The daily automatic card packs jumped to 5,000!
If all sold, that was 100 million Mora in a day.
Still, not enough to cover the next upgrade—1.6 billion Mora would be required!
With current earnings, at least two more days.
The shop's size doubled again to 2,000 sq.m.—five times its original size.
"So big…!"
Leaving it empty would be wasteful. Luya thought of adding a food corner, so customers could dine and duel.
But without a chef, he'd have to wait for Xiangling.
There was still about 500 sq.m. unused—too much to waste. Inspiration struck: why not a mini-market selling snacks and drinks?
It wouldn't add much, but it was still extra income.
He used the shop renovation function to build a small grocery, about 100 sq.m., with shelves and a counter—but no stock.
Fortunately, with Xingqiu's Feiyun Commerce Guild, supplies wouldn't be a problem. They dealt in everything, from gems and instruments to everyday goods—snacks included.
Tomorrow, Xingqiu could arrange deliveries.
...
After handling the shop, Luya examined the [Genshin Deck].
"Goodness… this is rich."
The cards were varied:
[Playing God?]
[Fontaine – The Four Prophecies]
[Archon War]
"Heavenly Motion, Universal Creation!"
"Bathroom Break!"
[Musou no Hitotachi]
Every nation of Teyvat was represented.
"Truly a Genshin Deck—pure Teyvat through and through."
With these, plus the full Yu-Gi-Oh! card pool, Luya could forge all kinds of wild combos.
For instance, [Playing God?]: Change the name of 1 monster on the field to [Hydro Archon – Focalors].
Regardless, he didn't yet have [Hydro Archon – Focalors], so its true potential was unknown.
After scanning the Genshin Deck, he set it aside.
Only the [Material Analyzer] remained.
Luya pulled it from his inventory. The device, similar in size to a Card Furnace, appeared before him.
It had a small slot on top, large enough for two fists.
He guessed it analyzed materials.
So he dropped in [Scaramouche's Hand].
"Begin analysis…" intoned the machine.
"Analyzing…"
"This is the prototype puppet hand created by the Electro Archon Beelzebul."
"It was originally designed to house a Gnosis, but shed tears in its sleep."
"Seeing that it was too fragile as either tool or human, Beelzebul could not bear to destroy it and let it sleep instead."
"Later, due to an unknown error, the puppet awoke and walked among mortals."
"Analysis complete."
"Material: Scaramouche's Right Hand."
"Components: Vayuda Turquoise Fragment x1, Vajrada Amethyst Fragment x2, Nagadus Emerald Fragment x3."
"Craftable Card: [Kuusei Fuchin – Scaramouche]."
"Crafting time: approx. 2 hours."
"Card effect as follows:"
[Kuusei Fuchin – Scaramouche] Level 6│WIND│Machine│1500 ATK / 1500 DEF
╵When summoning a Divine-Beast or Divine-class monster, this card can be treated as 3 Tributes.
Luya examined the effect—quite decent.
Sacrifice one Scaramouche to summon [Slifer the Sky Dragon], [Obelisk the Tormentor], or [The Winged Dragon of Ra].
As expected from something made to hold a Gnosis.
He fed the required materials into the Card Furnace to craft [Kuusei Fuchin – Scaramouche].
Once complete, it would join his deck.
With preparations done, only two days remained until Lantern Rite in Liyue Harbor.
He had to focus on making the tournament a success. The grander the event, the higher the system's rating—and the better the rewards.
Though only a side quest, he couldn't afford to miss out.
