Standing at the entrance of the card shop, Luya held a Field Spell Card in his left hand.
[Nouvelles Restaurant "At Table"] (Field Spell Card)
Luya immediately activated the power of [Divine Hand Lv10], materializing the card into reality. Golden light emanated from his left hand as his consciousness focused on the open space beside the card shop.
In an instant, a magnificent, classical-style restaurant appeared on the vacant land next to the shop. The surroundings were adorned with lush greenery and softly glowing lanterns. This was the Nouvelles Restaurant "At Table".
The restaurant's menu brimmed with creativity and surprises, offering an array of dazzling, innovative dishes. Here, diners could savor unique culinary delights and experience the magic of cooking brought to life!
However, while the restaurant now stood ready, the chefs had yet to appear, leaving it somewhat empty.
Suddenly, Luya had a new idea. Having the ["At Table"] restaurant right next to his card shop felt... a little out of place.
So, Luya pinched a [Fusion] card between his fingers and locked his consciousness onto ["At Table"] and his [Card Shop]. A brilliant flash of gold and white light flared between the two buildings!
Within seconds, the ["At Table"] restaurant fused with Luya's Monster Shop. From the outside, his shop now looked as if a floating castle had been added atop the original building—it looked incredibly high-end!
Just like that, ["At Table"] and the Card Shop became one. Though they appeared separate from the outside, inside, the two spaces were perfectly integrated.
Luya stepped inside the shop. The interior had expanded considerably—the magic restaurant ["At Table"] was now fully prepared. However, the chefs were still missing...
Luya pulled out another set of cards—[Nouvelles]!
In the restaurant, the receptionist was a golden-haired, black-collared beauty dressed in devilish attire yet bearing an angelic face—[Poissonniere de Nouvelles]. She specialized in seafood cuisine, particularly fish dishes—perfect for Liyue Harbor, where seafood was abundant.
With her unique "Demonic Cuisine" technique that summoned demons through her cooking, she could create delicacies bursting with flavor—like the signature Bouillabaisse! Accompanying the Bouillabaisse was a cute, pink, five-armed little demon—Buerr.
There was also the fragrant, crisp, and juicy pan-seared salmon, a more complex dish adorned by the elegant blue demon—Botis.
Among all the seafood dishes, the most technically demanding one was the butter-fried fish, marked by a fierce demon wielding a fork and knife, with three terrifying heads—Balam.
Besides the [Poissonniere de Nouvelles], the head chef in the kitchen wore a red collar and specialized in all forms of meat cuisine.
His signature dish was the richly flavored confit duck leg, seared to perfection over an open flame—upon which perched a small, red, oil-covered demon carrying a tiny fork—Flauros. Flauros emanated the aroma of oil and spices, enhancing the tenderness and juiciness of every dish.
And as one of the restaurant's signature dishes, the pan-seared foie gras was the head chef's masterpiece. The orange demon who possessed this dish was named Glasya—his massive black wings enhancing the meat's quality and texture, elevating its flavor to sublime heights.
At the ["At Table"] restaurant, the most sought-after dish—the number one must-try on the menu… was the [Head Chef's Special Roast Steak]!
To miss out on this dish would be a lifelong regret. Bound to it was the top-ranked purple Demon God of Cuisine—Baal. Baal bore six golden stars on his chest, holding a golden roasting skewer and smiling blissfully.
His very presence infused the grilled meat with the flavor of happiness. Just one bite, and even someone deep in despair would be filled with joy. Even the quietest diner couldn't help but shower the chef with praise!
Beyond the regular menu, the head chef also possessed his proudest secret recipe—inherited from the legendary demon chef himself: [The Hunger Burger]. Though it looked ordinary, it was brimming with demonic energy… one bite, and you'd be addicted. However, the head chef's version was not nearly so sinister.
This burger was known as the [Krabby Burger]. Eating it quickly restored stamina and even strengthened the body. Even a frail person could become as strong as a bull after regularly eating [Krabby Burgers]!
That said… they were expensive and produced in very limited quantities. Only ten could be made per day. The demon attached to the [Krabby Burger] was the crimson demon of gluttony—the Crab Demon.
Luya held the [Poissonniere de Nouvelles] and [Head Chef] (Chef de Nouvelles) cards—as well as those of the demons bound to each dish—in his left hand. "Come forth! My Palworld—employees!!!"
Light of every color burst out! Two humans, seven demons—all appeared before Luya. This was the staff of the ["At Table"] restaurant!
Not only could they cook delicious food, but they also required no wages. They were truly born to be Pals. All Luya needed to do was provide them with lodging. For him, the restaurant's income would soon become a significant source of wealth.
The Head Chef respectfully asked, "Boss, when do we open for business?!"
The Poissonniere de Nouvelles and the other culinary demons all looked at Luya in reverence, awaiting his command.
Luya glanced at his loyal, unpaid staff, then nodded. "Tomorrow at 11 a.m.—we open on time."
He then arranged for them to move into the employee dormitory.
With the most important matters settled, Luya's next task was clear—to stock up supplies in preparation for tomorrow's grand opening.
