It was pouring.
Barely any visibility.
Monsoon hadn't even arrived yet, so the chance of rain today was almost none. The sky had been so bright and blue in the morning that the thought of rain never even crossed his mind.
But as if fate was against him having a peaceful date, it was raining like crazy.
"Hah~ it's such an unfortunate day," Emma sighed, her voice tinged with disappointment as they stood under the shed by the main building.
The campus was unusually quiet. Most students were relaxing in their dorms, while those who wanted to go out—like the two of them—had already returned. Forget walking in the rain, they could barely see a few meters ahead.
William groaned, "If I ever meet the rain god, I'm sure he'd have a handprint on his cheek."
Emma laughed softly, "You sound desperate to go on a date with me."
William scoffed, "I shouldn't be hearing that from a girl who dressed up so nicely and came an hour earlier than we agreed."
