Eleanor's eyes shone with a perfect plan as she sipped from her goblet.
She gestured subtly to Bianca, who stepped toward her. Eleanor whispered a few words to her, and Bianca nodded, disappearing through a side corridor.
"Mother, excuse me." Eleanor turned to both Georgina and her mother, then curtsied and left, following the direction Catherine had disappeared a minute ago.
"Catherine,"
Eleanor called, approaching her with a disarming smile.
Catherine flinched, startled.
"Your Highness," she replied, offering a shallow curtsy, but Eleanor ignored it and stepped in front of her, a smile plastered on her face and her voice tender.
"I saw you leave. You seemed… disheartened. Are you alright?" she asked.
Catherine raised her brow and blinked in confusion, turning to her sides to see if there was someone else there.
"I'm very good," she responded, her voice wary.
"I just need to check on the remaining supplies for tonight."
