I dragged Theo all the way back to the restroom for the employees before I let go of his hand.
Theo blinked as he realized that he was no longer serving customers, and his eyes took some time to zone back on my face.
"Kyle-? When did you get back? And… what am I doing here? Was I not serving customers? Sorry, my mind is a mess right now."
Theo told me as he grabbed his head to get rid of the incoming headache he was having.
I did feel bad for him, but I also needed to know what was going on here. Why was Theo acting like he was in a daze?
"Never mind me, Theo. What happened to you? It looked as if you were having a hard time concentrating. Are you alright?"
I asked, and Theo looked taken aback.
"I was… zoned out? Huh-! When did that happen? The last thing I remember is… not much. Maybe you are right."
Theo told me as he slowly came back to himself and walked past me.
