Chapter 4 - Stronghold

"Are you a friend of the Trailblazer?" The dark-skinned man asked with caution lingering in his eyes.

The masked man turn towards Ketchup at the dark-skinned man question.

How big are your pockets?

"What?" Ketchup became bewildered. Here he was fighting for his life and this weirdo is asking him in the midst of all this how rich he is?

Ketchup felt like the rage in his eyes grew a bit darker. He replied, "As much as you can imagine."

He grinned as if proud of what he just said. He could tell the masked man just from his question was someone who loves money.

'He's definitely strong. Probably a Galaxy Ranger who tagged along with La Mancha, but why is he wearing a clown outfit and asking for money?' Before Ketchup could grasp a bit of info about this man, the masked man smiled behind his mask and said something that made the dark-skinned man and Ketchup speechless.

Then we aren't friends!

"..."

"..."

He answered the dark-skinned man question which caused the latter to grew silent.

He seemed to be pondering something.

As for Ketchup, he felt both delighted and frustrated by this masked man appearance.

"If you say so, then you won't mind me killing this Trailblazer would you?" He stopped thinking and smiled, raising his hand once more.

"Fuck!" At the same time Ketchup cursed, the delightful feeling vanished, replaced with even more rage as his eyes grow even more dark.

"Do you know how expensive these things are!" He yelled in frustration. The dark-skinned man just destroyed another one of his teleporting gems that Albert just activated!

"You won't be worrying about that in the afterlife." The dark-skinned man laughed as he steady his spear to launch another attack.

Hold it right there!

The dark-skinned man turn back towards the masked man.

Seeing that he got back his attention the masked man cleared his throat before saying in a heroic yet toonish manner.

I cannot let you kill this Trailblazer or else my friend would definitely be mad!

"Friend?" Ketchup wondered. He was curious who in this world would be mad at his death.

"Now your pissing me off clown." The dark-skinned man sounded angry but his expression was just as indifferent as Ketchup once was.

"I was trying not to be a nuisance but who the hell are you and how did you get on this planet under our surveillance?" He asked, this man not only slipped pass him and the other antimatter legion troops but also Zephyro!

He pointed his spear from Ketchup towards the masked man.

A wandering clown is free to go wherever they please.

The masked man or rather the clown didn't answer.

He instead raised his hand and waved at the dark-skinned man to come.

"Haha! You are all so interesting!" The dark-skinned man actually ignored Ketchup and thrust his spear towards the clown!

This shocked Ketchup, at the same time he felt joyful inside!

Due to how close the three of them are, the spear was already closing in on the clown.

But the clown was unfazed. He raised two fingers and a strange scene occurred.

The blade of the spear was caught in between his two fingers.

"Trying to look cool huh?!" The dark-skinned man like the expert he is did not lose his composure.

Instead he twisted his spear in an attempt to slice off the clown fingers!

But instead something strange happened again...

The moment he twisted his spear... his body twisted upside down alongside it.

"The hell..." His eyes that were moments ago staring into the clown cunning green eyes were now looking into the shattered sky.

Looking up into the sky you could still see the red-white lights still clashing with one another. It was a rather beautiful scenery to the dark-skinned man.

However, that scene vanished, replaced with darkness.

The clown slammed the dark-skinned man flat to the ground with his opened hand.

It was a rather comedic attack. The slam did no damage whatsoever, the dark-skinned man wasn't even slammed to the ground with any effort.

He simply fell to the ground with a grunt.

Don't fall asleep on me now or else I will have to carry you all the way to your daddy and tell him how much of a bad boy you've been!

The clown cartoonist voice rang in his ears.

The dark-skinned man hearing this, quickly recovered from the humiliation. In fact, he didn't even feel a tad bit embarrassed.

He grabbed the clown by his leg and smirked.

"Arrogant fool, Annihilation Mark!" A mark lit up on the clown leg as if it was ready to detonate!

Snap!

But nothing happened. The clown snapped his fingers again and the mark was replaced with water that splashed on the dark-skinned man face.

The dark-skinned man must have been born with a very thick face. He put all his strength into his right leg in an attempt to let the clown fall over.

But his leg only bounced off as if it just came in contact with a strangely... bouncy boulder?

"What in the Aeons are you?!" For the first time since arriving here, the dark-skinned man felt a bit of frustration.

Just a wandering clown.

The clown reply caused him to calm down a great deal. He got up at almost the speed of light and got some distant before clapping his hands together.

Two huge hands form out of nowhere and did the same thing as the dark-skinned man towards the clown!

Snap!

But the two hands crumbled to the ground.

"I got you now!"

The dark-skinned man expected such a result appear behind the clown with his two hands holding his spear.

He slashed his spear down. He believed there was no way the clown could possibly dodge it.

But the spear only pass right through his body as if it was a mere illusion!

"Annihilation—" The dark-skinned man never would've thought the clown had another trick up his sleeves.

But he was quick-witted. He was about to use another one of his techniques he mastered when a hand came slapping into his face.

Pow!

The dark-skinned man went flying into the distance. There was no mountains or large terrain in site so he flew further and further until he vanished entirely.

At the same time Ketchup turn into blue particles and vanished.

.

.

.

.

Ketchup appeared thousands of kilometers away.

"Monsters, they are all freaks..." He muttered to himself before sighing in relief. He made it out alive all thanks to that Clown.

"Zephyro, Acheron, La Mancha..." At the same time, he couldn't help but tremble at the numerous frightening existence he came across just by taking this mission.

That dark-skinned man especially was a force to be reckoned with.

"And that Clown..."

Albert as if knowing what's on his mind uttered.

"This planet is weird."

"Probably something that would make the IPC mouths drool for years." Ketchup joked, but very much wish his joke wasn't true.

"It's none of our business anyways." He replied indifferently.

"Like I care about that." Ketchup scoffed as he continue, "From what that dark-skinned man said, that Emanator knew what was going on but only sent me on this mission."

"Yeah-yeah, you have a point, but I refuse to believe they didn't know." Ketchup agreed to disagree.

At the mention of the stronghold, Ketchup sprinted at full speed towards the castle like structure ahead.

This castle was brimming with magnificence. One look and you could tell it was built for royalty.

However, this castle was being bombarded by hundreds of attacks from above and below.

Below were the Voidrangers launching suicidal attacks at a group of troops.

These troops defended themselves well against the Voidrangers.

At the same time they pushed on the offensive, finding openings to launch attacks of their own.

Above were the three Doomsday Beast launching hundreds of beams at the castle.

Surprisingly, the castle withstood these beams of destruction!

It was all thanks to the person on top of the castle.

A woman sat on the ground in a praying posture as she sing her voice out in a rather holy, soothing voice.

This woman hair was white, her skin as pale as snow and her clothes so pure not even a speck of dirt could touch them.

Rather than some woman, she looked more like an angel.

Her voice canceled out the Doomsday Beast attacks, a barrier stopping them from even approaching the stronghold.

This infuriated the three beast so, they kept launching beams after beams.

These Doomsday Beast were clearly not as smart as the one Ketchup faced.

Outside the stronghold we're thousands of Voidrangers. However, they couldn't even reach the castle as a bunch of warriors of this world stopped them from advancing.

These warriors were even stronger than the troops in the stronghold.

Some women, some men, they slaughtered all the Voidrangers with mad delight.

Even further were three warriors fighting against three dark-skinned creatures.

They were the Cursed Children of Annihilation.

They all have white hair and yellow eyes. One had longer white hair, clearly a woman.

"Dammit! Why are they so freakishly strong?!" One of the dark-skinned man yelled in blind rage.

They have been on this planet for roughly twelve hours before Ketchup arrival. After Ketchup arrived it hasn't even been a full two hours.

In that time, they killed everything in sight, destroyed all there is to see on this once beautiful planet.

Except this stronghold, the capital of this country.

For some reason these pathless beings were born monsters. They clearly looked like humans, but their strength said otherwise, able to fight toe-to-toe against the Voidrangers even though they are outnumbered by thousands of them.

And yet, in only seconds these natives have managed to cut down tens of the Voidrangers, dwindling their numbers by the hundreds in a matter of minutes causing them to continuously send word for reinforcement.

However, these dark-skinned creatures, children of Nanook, did not care. The Voidrangers were nothing more than disposable goods they could discard and create whenever they want.

To them it was only a matter of time until these natives get exhausted and start to make mistakes.

However, the three natives they were facing weren't to be underestimated.

One of them wore a black robe, his black hair tied in a short ponytail, his eyes shut closed. He looked quite girly-quite feminine and especially weak to these children of destruction.

But the sword he carry over his waist gave an entirely different impression.

During the whole battle, he have yet to draw his sword. His cocky behavior made these dark-skinned creatures want to skin him alive for being so arrogant in front of them.

But each time his hand hover around the hilt of his sword their instincts scream. They felt like a nonexistent door to death creaked opened just a tiny bit.

It gave the impression that if he ever drew that sword they would all hit the floor dead, their bodies disintegrating at a mere touch of his blade.

It frightened them. Not even the Lord Ravagers presence had such an effect on them!

Then there was him.

"What is he, an Emanator of Abundance?" The other dark-skinned man clicked his tongue in annoyance.

In front of him was a shirtless man showing off his muscular build and six packs. This man wasn't just muscular, he was also extremely big, so big he looked more like a giant in comparison to everyone else.

This man was also bald, probably a defect of his genes for making him so tall.

He was also covered in numerous wounds, blood soaking his body from head to toe and destruction marks burning his very skin.

But one look at his stubborn blue eyes and the mad grin on his face was enough to tell that these were nothing but scratches to him.

Lastly there was a woman among the three warriors. However, unlike a warrior, she looked more like a princess in her combat red dress.

Her skin was flawless, her face the pure definition of beauty and her glowing red eyes shine with absolute confidence.

Her long blond hair sway in the wind as she held an unusual weapon that didn't fit her demeanor at all.

In her hands, she held a scary looking scythe that blade was scrapping against her flawless neck.

Blood oozes out of her neck and onto the scythe causing it to glow alongside her confident red eyes.

Her blood was like a nutrients to the scythe as its presence became even more frightening to the dark-skinned creatures.

"So we got an Emanator of Abundance, Beauty and whatever in the cosmos is that Swordsman." The dark-skinned man blinded by rage snickered.

"And that bastard Zephyro dare say this is some ordinary planet!" He then yelled again with a furious burst of destruction causing the baldie and princess to jump back.

As for the swordsman, he simply raised his hand and pinched the air.

The burst of destruction came to a forced halt.

"What the fuck!" The dark-skinned man yelled again. That burst of his own destruction may have been weak but it was still enough to destroy the surrounding space and yet it came to a stop with a mere pinch?

"Calm down you idiot and look." The dark-skinned female frowned at her companion before pointing her finger at the swordsman.

Shortly after stopping the attack the swordsman face went pale. It seems like even though he stopped the attack, he wasn't able to stop it from invading his body.

But even though the dark-skinned creatures believed that thought they couldn't help but waver when they saw him muttering a scary idea to himself.

"Should I just draw my sword?" He mumbled causing them to wonder if they should consider fleeing.

Even his companions didn't wish to see him draw his blade as they said, "Reeko, how about you don't do anything stupid."

The blond woman spoke in a rather commanding manner.

"Very well princess." The swordsman named Reeko sighed, disappointed that he couldn't use his sword.

The princess by the name Charlotte Vi Bernice walked up to the dark-skinned creatures, her scythe still draining her blood.

She asked with an teasing grin, "Aren't you going to give up?"

"You arro–" Before the dark-skinned man blinded by rage could finish his sentence he was knocked in the head by his companion.

The dark-skinned female matched her grin with a smile. "You really think victory is in sight?"

She continued, "Can't you see that your men are getting tired?"

"Hmph, even if my men arm and feet were chopped off they would still fight to the bitter end." Charlotte uttered with a calm voice.

"You mortals are so hopeless. We have the number advantage. Even if you kill all of us, more will come." The dark-skinned woman shook her head.

"Can't you see what your doing is foolish?"

"And? What, you expect us to just admit defeat and let you and your troops do their way with us?!" Charlotte bellowed, her voice spreading far and wide even surpassing the stronghold.

She knew what they were doing was indeed hopeless, but she wasn't going to give up.

"This is our world and we will die trying to protect it!" She said, her eyes shining bright red with determination.

"That's right."

"Well said princess!"

Reeko nodded while the giant baldie laughed in agreement.

"So utterly foolish." The dark-skinned woman smile vanished, replaced with a disdainful look as if she was staring at a bunch of monkeys.

"You don't know how vast the cosmos is. Even if we didn't come here today, others would and your fate would be far worse." The other dark-skinned man also felt nothing but disdain for these natives.

"Then let's kill them already!" The dark-skinned man blinded by rage expression changed from one of rage to a gentle one.

The three natives all of a sudden felt that something was wrong.

"Fall back!" Reeko was the first to notice but it was too late.

"Annihilation Meteor."

The dark-skinned man smiled gently as he raised his hand to the sky.

The sky then cleared as a gigantic meteorite fell down from the sky.

The natives faces drained of any color seeing this but they still continue fighting, praying the three warriors would bring about a miracle.

"I—" The white clothed lady began to panic. She had the power to somewhat stop the meteor but that would leave her opened to the attacks of the three Doomsday Beast.

"You were stalling for time." Back on the battlefield, Charlotte frowned.

"Princess, if I draw my sword I can..." Reeko whispered behind Charlotte.

"Heh, guess there's no other choice." Charlotte laughed, still frowning. She wasn't afraid of the meteor, but the damage it would do if Reeko stop it would still affect them.

"Do it." She commanded and the swordsman hand finally touch the hilt of his sword.

Pow!

But before he could do anything a loud gun shot rang out in everyone ears including those at the stronghold.

At the same time the city destroying meteorite disappeared.

"No. 5!" The dark-skinned female shouted, getting the attention of the three warriors.

A gunshot hole was carved into the dark-skinned man by the name No. 5 head.
