Chapter 183 - Chapter 183 Brooks's Sacrifice to Heaven

Gale knew that the owner of this hand was the Dark Titan Sargeras. No one but him could withstand the attack of the pillars of creation.

The soldiers of the allied forces, however, felt despair; when had they ever seen such a powerful being?

At this moment, a hero stepped forward.

Broxigar Saurfang roared and was the first to attack the demons.

During the previous battles, the powerful combat capabilities of the allied forces meant that the three time traveler did not have many opportunities to show off. Krasus and Rhonin were a bit better, as they were formidable mages and could kill demons from a distance. Brox was in a bit of a dire situation; first, he went with Cenarius to gather the demigods, missing the great retreat from Black Rook Hold. By the time he returned to the Aszuna battlefield, Gale had already arrived with the allied forces.

The soldiers of the allied forces were full of talented individuals. Not to mention the Stone Giant and other oversized warriors, each race within the allied forces possessed extremely strong combat capabilities.

The Tauren, led by Huln Highmountain, charged forward every time. When they stampeded, they were like a sharp knife, repeatedly piercing into the vital points of the Dragon Legion. Many times, the Alpha Squad, originally tasked with charging, became their support unit.

Igrul, the new Drogbar chief, carefully selected a group of Drogbar warriors. Unlike last time, this time they were all elite soldiers. These Drogbar soldiers were skilled in using earth magic, which could enhance their defensive capabilities, making each of them appear as if they were wearing epic-tier armor, rampaging through the demon hordes.

There was also the human legion that joined the battlefield in the middle of the war. The Paladins, led by Hothman Thoridan, were another sharp knife. They were now Garrosh's ace unit. Whenever the Kaldorei army suffered setbacks, Garrosh would send them to breach defenses. Their powerful Holy Light spells made them the bane of demons.

Even the Alpha Squad, which often had its charge missions taken by the Tauren, was a group of well-equipped warriors. After the fierce battle at the Temple of the Moon, the Alpha Squad seemed to have found its soul. After replenishment, its combat power not only did not decrease but became even stronger. Relying solely on coordination, they could already contend with the Dragon Legion, and with the surprise attack of the ice mage's two-hit combo, they had become the strongest warrior legion of the Kaldorei.

With so many powerful armies, during large-scale army operations, combined with the mages' magical carpet bombing, it was very difficult for any demon to approach the area where Brox was located.

And those who could get through were often powerful demons, such as Mannoroth and Kazzak.

In such battles, Brox simply couldn't get a hand in.

No matter how strong he was, he was just an orc and couldn't challenge opponents dozens of times larger than him.

This left Brox with a pent-up feeling; he always wanted to do something for the allied forces. He wasn't trying to be a hero but wanted to repay those who had helped him.

Since his transmigration, Gale had always helped him, rescuing him from Suramar City and helping him forge a suitable weapon. However, because of Gale's ambition, he misunderstood that Gale wasn't truly trying to drive away the demons but wanted to seize power.

Therefore, after meeting Krasus and Rhonin, he left Gale's side. However, facts proved that although Gale had ambition, that ambition became his driving force. He recognized the danger of demons more than anyone else and stood against them more decisively than anyone else.

And then there was Cenarius; Brox felt guilt towards this demigod. Ten thousand years later, Cenarius was killed by Hellscream, yet now Cenarius was wholeheartedly helping him, an orc. Although the time displacement meant that the cause and effect Before and After did not have much relation, Brox still felt ashamed of some of the orcs' actions.

The allied forces were intimidated by Sargeras's power. Now, as long as they closed the portal in front of them, they could drive away the demons. If the allied forces retreated now, everything they had done so far would be in vain.

Thinking of this, Brox mustered his courage and charged towards the portal.

He furiously hacked down several demons, then suddenly leaped up and plunged into the portal.

Gale was preparing to clear the fel cannons in the city to allow the Dragon Legion to land and jointly deal with Sargeras.

Without the Demon Soul, but by combining the power of the Dragon Legion, along with the five pillars of creation and the eternal spear, closing the portal should not be a problem.

Who would have thought that Brox would jump into the portal at this moment?

Brox's actions inspired the allied forces. Carlos, this reckless man, instantly got a hot head and roared loudly: "Kill!"

Then, he led the Alpha Squad to charge at the demons. The power of mamo tius eater surged, and with every swing of his sword, a shadow shockwave appeared, slaying the demons that had just emerged from the portal.

Huln Highmountain and Igrul also rushed over, helping the Alpha Squad stabilize the situation.

Huln Highmountain was very familiar with blocking portals. After separating from the Black Rook Hold army, he led his troops to fight demons and had once blocked a demon portal. However, that portal was much smaller compared to this one.

Malfurion rushed to the Well of Eternity, "Close the portal!"

Gale looked at him angrily and said in a furious voice: "No one is allowed to give arbitrary orders. Garrosh, you command the battle!"

Carlos had already led the Alpha Squad into the portal. If the portal were closed now, the Alpha Squad would fall into the hands of the demons.

Malfurion was equally indignant, "There can be no womanly compassion at this time. Don't waste their sacrifice."

"You are not worthy to talk about womanly compassion with me!" Gale waved his hand and said coldly.

Illidan Stormrage, who had crept over at some point, said after several attempts: "The portal cannot be closed. A powerful force is forcibly connecting the Well of Eternity to the portal."

"It's the owner of that hand!" Metri said in a deep voice: "We must sever this powerful force."

Hearing this, everyone looked at each other, all a bit hesitant. To sever the force maintaining the portal, they would have to enter the portal and face that powerful demon directly.

Spellcasters were not warriors; they might not possess enough courage to face a god-like existence.

Gale struck the eternal spear on the ground, making a loud sound.

"Garrosh, hold the portal. Don't let a single demon enter Azeroth again. If you can close the portal, don't hesitate. I will find a way to return."

Saying this, he held Aggramar's Shield in his left hand and the eternal spear in his right, then flashed into the portal.

The other side of the portal was a void. In the distance of the void, a stellar vortex had formed, like a black hole. A tall figure stood in the distance, flames burning on his head, one hand still casting spells to maintain the portal.

In front, the Alpha Squad continuously charged forward, and even further ahead was Brox, constantly wielding his battle-axe. He was covered in wounds, but he still ran on the path of charge, as if he felt no pain.

"Brox!"

Carlos shouted loudly, wanting Brox to stop.

But Brox ignored him, his eyes seemingly fixed only on that tall figure. He leaped into the air, intending to attack Sargeras. Sargeras merely raised his eyes slightly and swung the broken greatsword in his hand, piercing through his body.
