Chapter 188 - Chapter 188 Mission

Gale waved his hand, using all his Arcane Energy to project the city blueprint he designed onto the actual site.

Everyone watched the projection around them in shock; this city was comparable to Sin'dorei. Moreover, it was clearly much larger than Sin'dorei, with a colossal twin-peaked tower behind the palace on the river island, soaring into the clouds. Above the ruins of Suramar, numerous super-large ports and docks were built. A wide road was carved through all the mountains. On top of the mountains, countless Mage Towers stretched as far as the eye could see.

The leaders of the allied forces exchanged glances. To construct this city, the amount of work would be immense! However, considering the mages' abilities and Gale's experience in building fortresses and cities, there would be no problem in building this city. It would just require significant time, resources, and effort, and they wondered if it would affect the Alliance's operations.

The ordinary allied soldiers, however, didn't think so much; they were completely awestruck by the grandeur of Nordrassil.

"Nordrassil!"

"Nordrassil!"

"Nordrassil..."

Malfurion looked at Cenarius, "Teacher, if this city is built, I'm afraid we really won't have a chance."

Cenarius shook his head slightly, "Gale's prestige is too high. If we forcibly push to abolish Arcane, I'm afraid not many people will follow us."

Malfurion said unwillingly, "How will we know if we don't try?"

Cenarius thought for a moment, "Since you want to try, then go ahead. However, you must be careful not to violate the law, otherwise there will be no room for maneuver."

"I understand, Teacher!"

Illidan Stormrage, among the crowd, also felt a longing. Such a city of magic was exactly what he dreamed of. If he could live here and serve as a high-ranking official, it would be Illidan Stormrage's ideal life.

He touched his magic pouch; if there were another new Well of Eternity, it would be even more perfect.

The allied soldiers, filled with great enthusiasm, explored the projection. Some were so engrossed that they accidentally fell into the river.

However, not everyone was immersed in it.

The Demigods all bid farewell to Gale. They needed to return to their homes and inspect the extent of the damage to the land. As Spirits of Nature, they also had a responsibility to nature, to heal the wounds of the earth.

Aviana was the first to leave. She had to return to the Emerald Dream to look after Ganil, the Mother Tree. Aviana was born in the Emerald Dream, and her primary duty was to protect Ganil, the Mother Tree.

"The Well of Eternity is said to be a wound on Azeroth. When the Titans reshaped the continent, it was to stabilize the land around the Well of Eternity, preventing it from expanding. Later, the Titan Guardians created the Emerald Dream as a blueprint for Azeroth, and at the very center of the Emerald Dream, at the location of the Well of Eternity, they planted Ganil, the Mother Tree. I was born in the Emerald Dream, and the task given to me by the Titan Guardians was to protect Ganil, the Mother Tree. The connection between Ganil, the Mother Tree and the Well of Eternity is too deep. With the explosion of the Well of Eternity, I am very worried that Ganil, the Mother Tree will be affected."

In the original history, Ganil, the Mother Tree was destroyed.

So, Gale vaguely said, "Indeed, Ganil, the Mother Tree is very important, and it is right for you to return as soon as possible. Thank you for your help; if there is anything you need assistance with, please do not hesitate to ask, and I will do my best to help you."

After Aviana, the brothers Ursol and Ursoc left. They needed to return to Grizzly Hills as quickly as possible and also help the displaced Bearman overcome their difficulties.

The Bearman also left with the two Grizzly Demigods. Through magic, they had learned that their homes had suffered disaster. They wanted to relocate to the Dreamgrove, where Shaladrassil was located, or migrate to the forest at the foot of Mount Hyjal.

Gale taught them how to activate Shaladrassil's barrier, saving him another trip. Without the Well of Eternity, the Kaldorei would soon fall into Arcane addiction, and the Arcane Energy emanating from Shaladrassil could, to some extent, prevent this problem.

Of course, Shaladrassil's range of effect was limited, and its solution should only apply to the Broken Isles area; it probably wouldn't work further away.

Not long after the two Grizzly Demigods and the Bearman left, the remaining three Demigods also departed one after another.

Malorne, the White Stag, intended to enter the Emerald Dream, hoping to gauge the scale of this disaster by comparing the Emerald Dream with reality.

Cenarius was returning to Cenarius Grove, just as he and Malfurion had discussed, to leave room for maneuver. With him not present, even if Malfurion failed, Gale would spare Malfurion's life out of respect for him.

Tortuga was the last to leave. This Demigod, relying on his incredibly strong defensive capabilities, single-handedly held off a large group of demons until the war ended. He didn't exert much effort himself, yet he earned the admiration of the entire allied army.

Many defensive warriors sought his guidance on defensive magic, and Draksa even wanted to invite him to reside in Nordrassil to constantly listen to his teachings.

Tortuga was not averse to this, but he also had responsibilities. With most of Kalimdor submerged underwater, as the only Demigod capable of swimming, he needed to explore these sea areas first.

After the Demigods, the Tauren and Drogbar were next to leave.

Huln Highmountain couldn't abandon the Highmountain Clan, as they lived on mountaintops. When the Well of Eternity exploded, the entire land trembled, making life on the mountaintops very dangerous for the Highmountain Clan.

Igrul wanted to return to Highmountain to re-establish his underground kingdom. He had already renounced the title of Gray King, calling himself the King of the Underworld.

The humans were the last to leave. Hothman Thoridan was actually more eager than anyone to return to Soliden, but the distance was too great for him to go back. All the human soldiers, including him, had never even been to Dalaran, so how could they find their way home across such a vast distance?

They also didn't know how to row a boat, so they could only wait for Gale to finish his work and use the Rainbow Bridge to send them home.

Gale was not an ungrateful person. He found time to use the Rainbow Bridge to take the humans back to Soliden. Upon arriving at Soliden, he discovered that the entire Soliden region had become a swamp.

After Gale helped Hothman rescue the stranded human refugees, he took them to Dalaran and entrusted them to Moon Rage.

Everyone has their mission, and Gale is no exception.

His birth circumstances dictated that he must prioritize the Kaldorei before helping other allies. The construction of Nordrassil was of utmost importance, concerning the fate of the Kaldorei Empire.

Although he sympathized with the humans, he could only have Dalaran provide them with food and allow them to reside in Dalaran. However, Dalaran was not a human city, so Gale asked Moon Rage to help them find a suitable settlement in Tirisfal Glades.
