In this condition, Palkia truly wasn't sure it could stand against Dialga.
"It's okay. I'll help you!"
Ash stared at Palkia with burning determination.
As long as Palkia was willing to cooperate, everything else would work out!
He didn't know why—
but when Palkia met Ash's unwavering eyes,
it suddenly felt…
that this human was trustworthy.
Very strange.
As a god, Palkia was far from stupid.
It was simply that at its level, no opponent existed that required real strategy.
Even when fighting Dialga, all it needed was relentless attacks.
This defeat was purely an accident.
And yet… regarding this human…
Palkia grew increasingly curious.
How do you plan to help me?
Palkia's voice echoed in Ash's mind.
Ash didn't hesitate at all.
"I plan to fight Dialga together with my two partners! I believe if we work together we can definitely beat it! After that, I'll need your help restoring Alamos Town!"
Ash spoke earnestly.
But the moment he finished—
Palkia felt like it was about to suffocate.
That's it?
Palkia absolutely did not believe that this human, her Pokémon, and that Darkrai could help it in any meaningful way.
Right now, Palkia suspected its own mind wasn't working properly—choosing to trust a human child?
If things were that simple,
it wouldn't be injured in the first place!
Human, you think too naively. Dialga is no ordinary Pokémon. You and your companions cannot defeat it.
Palkia's voice echoed again.
But Ash didn't show a hint of backing down.
"Believe me! My partners and I absolutely can help you! Don't you want to defeat that thing?"
The determination in Ash's eyes stunned even Palkia.
Just one simple sentence—
and yet, for some reason, Palkia wanted to believe him.
In all the countless years it had lived,
this had never happened before.
Palkia stared at Ash from above.
Finally—
Palkia lowered its noble head.
What should I do?
Just one sentence—
and the entire livestream exploded.
Ash had really persuaded Palkia!
This had never happened in history.
In Hoenn or in Kalos, gods helped humans—
never humans persuading gods.
Ash had created history.
A new step forward in human–god communication!
[Prof. Oak: Incredible… Did something like this truly happen?]
[Prof. Rowan: Indeed. Ash actually convinced the God of Space. At this point, I'm suspecting he might be Arceus's illegitimate child. Otherwise how would the notoriously ruthless Space Deity be convinced so easily?]
[Flint: Damn… I wouldn't even dare imagine it. Fight a god? No problem—even if I die! But persuade one? Just kill me instead!]
[Volkner: That's why you can't reach Ash's level. He rescued the world twice as a teenager. At your age you were still battling Bug Catchers.]
[Elesa: He's right. Flint really did bully Bug Catchers with type advantage when he was a kid.]
[Flint: SHUT UP, ELESA! Stop exposing me!]
[Prof. Carolina: In Sinnoh's legends, some humans could communicate with gods. Their power was called "Aura Override"—messengers of the divine. Perhaps, to some extent, Ash's aura is acting as that power.]
[Cynthia: No. Ash persuaded Palkia not because of aura—but because of himself. Darkrai shared critical information with him after seeing him only once. Even Mew has shown affection toward Ash. He may really have some connection to the Original One.]
[Diantha: Since Champion Cynthia says so… I'll believe it. As absurd as it sounds, Ash being Arceus's secret child might actually explain everything.]
Truth often lies in the hands of a few.
Whether Ash is Arceus's child is unknown.
But one fact is clear:
Legendary Pokémon adore him.
Most of the Legendaries shown at the start of this compilation all had deep ties to Ash—
perhaps showcasing his charm is the true theme of this ranking.
In the video—
Under Ash's persuasion, Palkia decisively joined his side.
Originally,
Palkia had intended to take off and confront Dialga immediately.
However—
Ash took two steps forward, stopping in front of Palkia.
Before Palkia could understand what he was doing,
Ash placed both hands on its body.
Earlier, Palkia had sensed Ash's aura—that was why it had stopped its attack.
His aura was special.
Comforting.
Even from a great distance, Palkia had felt a strange warmth.
Something it hadn't experienced in countless years.
The moment Ash touched its body—
a flood of aura poured into Palkia.
A tingling rush shot from the tip of its tail to the back of its head.
Even its fatigued mind instantly jolted awake.
Comfortable.
That was the only word Palkia could think of.
Ash continued channeling aura.
Palkia didn't reject it this time—
it accepted all of it wholeheartedly.
Human emotion, Ash's fiery determination—
all wrapped within his aura.
One could say Palkia's soul was mingling with Ash's.
Cl… climb on…
Palkia said with difficulty.
It wanted to keep enjoying that sensation,
but Ash's companions couldn't last much longer.
Darkrai was doing better thanks to its agility.
But Cynthia's Garchomp was in terrible shape—
wounds all over its body, bleeding continuously,
yet refusing to retreat.
A death-fight—that was Cynthia's Garchomp.
Even against a vastly superior enemy,
it gave everything.
Two and a half minutes had passed since Garchomp launched its assault.
Ash saw the urgency in Palkia's eyes.
Noticing Garchomp still struggling,
he didn't hesitate and accepted Palkia's offer.
After all—
Palkia asked for it.
Palkia lowered a hand,
and Ash and Pikachu climbed aboard.
At once—
Palkia spread its wings and took to the sky.
With Palkia joining,
Garchomp and Darkrai's pressure eased instantly.
Three versus one advantage, baby!
Palkia attacked first—
a sphere of Aura Sphere energy swirling in its palms.
Ash, lend me your aura!
"Got it!"
Ash immediately agreed.
Aura?
He had plenty.
Palkia: Ahem. Just to be clear, I am absolutely NOT doing this because it feels good. This is purely for combat purposes. PURELY.
With Ash's aura infused,
Palkia's Aura Sphere changed—
the magenta glow twisted with streaks of blue.
Strength surged.
What used to only clash evenly with Dialga's Roar of Time…
now outright overwhelmed it!
"Darkrai, Garchomp—fall back!"
Ash shouted.
The two Pokémon nodded and retreated to recover,
leaving the battlefield to Ash and Palkia.
[Brassius: Strange… why does Palkia look more energized after receiving Ash's aura? It's like it wasn't hurt at all.]
[Chloe's Grandpa (Gurkinn): Aura Guardians can strengthen their Pokémon with their own aura. It's written in old notes.]
[Bruno: What?! Aura can do THAT?! Ash-sensei, TAKE ME AS YOUR DISCIPLE!]
[Chloe: Grandpa, is that true?!]
[Gurkinn: Absolutely. The difference between an awakened Lucario and one that only throws crude Aura Spheres is enormous.]
[Brassius: Then that's insane. Ash's aura can boost Palkia's state… that's basically invincible in a god battle!]
[Steven: Relax. There won't be a god war. Unless it's the end of the world.]
[Flint: Right. If the gods really all fought each other, I'd eat all of Volkner's food supplies on the spot!]
[Volkner: …Try me.]
[Lillie: A god war…? That sounds exciting!]
Viewers: ???
Girl, do you hear yourself?
You're excited for a god war?!
Why not say Rayquaza can 1v7 next!?
In the video—
Inside the Space-Time Tower—
Tonio, Alice, and Dawn were flipping through Godey's diary.
"Found it! Oración! Godey said because of the nightmare he composed it and left it behind!"
Tonio was ecstatic.
The breakthrough was finally here!
But—
what was Oración exactly?
"Oración is the melody passed down from my grandmother—the song I play with leaves."
Alice explained.
In certain moments, she and Tonio were strangely in sync.
"The music disc! If we use the Space-Time Tower to play Oración, we can resolve this!"
They said at the same time.
They immediately began preparing.
Alice searched through the discs for the right one.
Dawn and the others prepared the balloon—
since climbing the tower manually would take far too long.
Not everyone had Ash's physical abilities—
able to reach the top only slightly slower than a balloon.
While they prepared,
the battle outside reached its climax.
Even with Palkia—
the tide had not fully turned.
Dialga still held the advantage.
A full-power god of time was terrifying beyond measure.
And after discovering that every clash between Dialga and Palkia accelerated the erasure of Alamos Town…
Ash had Palkia avoid direct confrontation.
Instead, the freshly healed Garchomp and Darkrai took the offensive.
Palkia focused on guarding against Dialga's surprise attacks.
Even so—
the gods clashed inevitably.
Each collision sped up the town's disintegration.
It had only been a short while—
yet half of Alamos Town had already vanished.
And the speed kept increasing.
Soon, the entire town would fade into the void forever.
Ash had successfully stalled Dialga—
but now they lacked a method to end the fight.
Dodging another Roar of Time,
Ash turned and noticed Dawn's group in the balloon.
Dawn waved vigorously and pointed at the music disc in Alice's hands.
"It's Oración! Oración can calm Dialga!"
She yelled loudly.
Although far away, Ash caught the key word.
"Hey, Darkrai—do you know Oración?"
Darkrai floated beside him after an attack, surprised.
"Its melody was composed by Alicia. It calms rage and brings peace."
"I see. That explains it."
Ash finally understood.
The key was not Darkrai.
Not Palkia.
It was Dialga.
Only by calming Dialga could Palkia restore space.
And to calm Dialga—
Oración was the answer.
"Palkia, let's go down."
Then Ash turned to Darkrai:
"I need you to stall Dialga for a moment. I'm going to tell Cynthia."
Darkrai gave him a long, wordless look.
It had a thousand thoughts—
but still obeyed.
Stalling Dialga?
Fine.
"I'll deal with you!"
Darkrai snarled, firing a Dark Pulse at Dialga—
pulling all its aggro instantly.
In an MMO, Darkrai would be the most reliable tank in the world.
One taunt—invincible.
Ash and Palkia landed in the plaza.
Ash ran to Cynthia.
"Miss Cynthia! Change of plans! We must ensure the balloon reaches the top of the tower! Only Oración can calm Dialga and stop all this!"
"Is that so?"
Cynthia thought quickly.
She didn't know what Oración was—
but if it could calm Dialga, that was enough.
"Then let's fight together."
Cynthia smiled gently.
"I'm looking forward to fighting beside you too, Miss Cynthia."
Palkia simply stood there silently,
watching the two humans interact.
It truly couldn't understand human emotions.
But that didn't matter.
This blonde human was strong.
Her Pokémon could even injure Dialga.
If they were fighting side by side—
then there was only one place for a god.
"Palkia, can you bring Miss Cynthia and me into battle together?"
Ash asked.
Palkia: ?
Do you hear yourself?
The dignity of a god is not something mere mortals can RIDE—!
