In the following instant, Grey was finally able to clearly observe Alissa's folding pattern.
"It's similar to a beast core's DNA pattern, yet not quite the same." Grey was pleasantly surprised.
The folding pattern active within Alissa was expansive and bore a strong resemblance to the structural sequence he had seen inside beast cores. However, it was far from a simple imitation.
At a deeper, more microscopic level, the structure became increasingly complex. Layers of genetic instructions overlapped one another, not merely coiling or unfolding, but actively rearranging their internal order.
Grey could not identify the latter segment of the folding pattern at all. Yet every second, that unknown section was being converted, stretched outward, and reinforced, as if the DNA itself was rewriting its own boundaries.
"Wait… is this the transformation?" Grey narrowed his eyes.
