Wei Chen increased his strength and pushed the charismatic man back. The man retreated, creating a safe distance between himself and Wei Chen. His hand felt numb, and he no longer dared to underestimate Wei Chen.
"Since your strength is on par with mine, you must not be a nobody. What is your name?" the man asked.
"Wei Chen. Does the name ring a bell?" Wei Chen asked, though he did not expect this man to know him. Since the man had not recognized him at first sight, it meant that he and his son must have come from outside the broadcast range and likely did not have a U-Phone.
After all, U-Phones would display broadcasts regardless of distance, depending on one's cultivation. However, although Wei Chen's cultivation had advanced, this location was in the middle of nowhere, not a place where people gathered like a city square. Because of that, it was understandable that the broadcast had not yet reached them.
