Chapter 191 - Chapter 191

Chapter 191: A Welcome Development

Deep into the night.

After washing up, Yu changed into a dark blue cotton sleeping robe.

Though today's interstellar slaughter hadn't consumed much effort, the sensation of casually annihilating lives with a wave of his hand, combined with the unfamiliar feeling of nine hundred thousand horsepower of magnetic field power surging through his body, still required time to settle.

He lay on the prepared bedding, staring blankly at the ceiling shadows.

His fingertip traced lightly through the air, sensing the magnetic field lines flowing through space—those energy trajectories invisible to ordinary people appeared clear as rope to him.

The increase in power let him see through the world's essence, yet also made him feel increasingly distant from the sensation of being "human."

Just as he hovered between waking and sleep, the bedding beside him sank slightly.

A warm, soft presence silently drew close. A familiar scent instantly enveloped him—that unique fragrance belonging to Sasuko, mixing gardenia flowers with a girl's sweet smell.

Yu didn't immediately open his eyes, only murmuring vaguely: "Sasuko...?"

"Shh—" Cool fingertips gently pressed against his lips, her voice dropped extremely low, airflow brushing past his ear. "Don't make a sound..."

He opened his eyes.

In the hazy dim light, Sasuko curled against his side wearing only a silk camisole nightgown, ink-black hair spilling loose, eyes sparkling with both nervous and bold light in the darkness.

"How did you..." Yu started speaking then understood.

Their room was below the living room. Fugaku and Mikoto's master bedroom was directly above. Any disturbance at night could be detected.

Sasuko had obviously teleported directly in using Flying Thunder God.

"I couldn't sleep." Sasuko explained quietly, cheek pressed against his sleeping robe fabric, voice muffled.

She seemed somewhat shy, her entire body snuggling close seeking warmth.

Yu's arm naturally encircled her slender waist, palm separated by a thin layer of silk, clearly feeling the warmth of her skin and supple curves.

He lowered his head, nuzzling her fragrant hair. "Making trouble. What if your adoptive parents discover us?"

"They're long asleep..." Sasuko looked up, breath brushing past his throat, tone carrying small triumph. "I confirmed it before coming."

Despite saying this, Sasuko still couldn't help holding her breath to listen.

In the absolute silence, only their gradually quickening heartbeats were exceptionally clear. This sense of danger at such close proximity bred secretive excitement.

Yu's arm tightened slightly, making her fit more closely against him.

Sasuko released an extremely soft sound, small hand tentatively exploring into his sleeping robe's collar, palm pressing against his warm chest.

"Yu..." She tilted her face up, searching for his lips in the darkness, voice trembling from emotion. "Kiss me..."

The girl's soft lips parted slightly, exhaling warm, sweet breath.

This was an invitation impossible to refuse.

Yu lowered his head to capture her soft lips. This kiss began gentle and restrained, as though testing the surrounding silence. But under Sasuko's inexperienced yet passionate response, it gradually deepened into lingering entanglement.

In the silent room, only the courtyard's faint water sounds and their intertwined breathing remained.

Sasuko was kissed until her entire body went soft, unconsciously clinging to him more tightly.

Yu's broad palm carried scorching warmth, caressing gently.

Sasuko felt her body about to melt, tingling pleasure spreading from touched areas, leaving her both yearning and at a loss. She buried her burning face in the hollow of his neck, breathing shallowly.

"Mm..." A suppressed soft moan escaped.

Both instantly froze, tensely pricking up their ears. Upstairs remained without unusual sounds, only night wind blowing through leaves with rustling sounds.

This tension of possibly being discovered at any moment stimulated their nerves like invisible electric current.

Tonight ultimately wasn't the right time. After brief intimacy,

He simply moved his palm back to her back, drawing her entire person into his embrace, pressed tightly together.

The two quietly embraced in darkness, calming their intense breathing and heartbeats. Though bodily restlessness hadn't yet subsided, a deeper spiritual connection gradually permeated.

Sasuko nodded lightly in his arms, contentedly curling up.

"Yu," she suddenly asked softly, "we should... count as lovers now, right?"

Yu looked down at the person in his arms, finding it both amusing and somewhat helpless. "You snuck into my bed in the middle of the night just to ask this?"

Sasuko pouted slightly, persisting as she nuzzled into his embrace. "I want to hear Yu say it personally... can't I even ask?"

Yu gently kneaded her soft cheek, voice carrying teasing. "Things have already come to this, and you're still asking such questions..."

Hearing Yu's answer, Sasuko puffed her cheeks in dissatisfaction, fingertip lightly tracing circles on his chest. "But I want to hear you say it seriously once..."

Yu watched her stubborn appearance, finally speaking in a low voice:

"Yes, we're lovers now."

The moment his words fell, he clearly felt the girl in his arms tremble, then her entire being brightened.

Sasuko tilted her face up, eyes rippling with crystalline moisture, corners of her mouth unable to suppress their upward curve.

"Really?" Her voice jumped with joy. "Great, then from now on, Yu belongs only to me."

Yu was amused by her childish declaration, fingertip gently combing through her long hair. "Mm, only yours."

Receiving this affirmative reply, Sasuko contentedly curled into his embrace, cheek pressed tightly against his warm chest, listening to that reassuring heartbeat.

"I'm so happy..." She murmured softly. "From a long time ago, I've been anticipating this moment."

Yu's arm tightened slightly. Of course he knew Sasuko's feelings for him. Since she was still a naive young girl, those clear eyes had reflected only him.

Only back then, he hadn't been ready to respond to that pure emotion.

"Sasuko," he called in a low voice, "I'm sorry for making you wait so long."

"It's okay," Sasuko looked up, gaze soft yet firm. "Understanding Yu's feelings is enough for me. And..."

She blinked slyly. "I can take the initiative, just like tonight."

Speaking, she pressed closer still into his embrace, slender arms encircling his waist. Yu could clearly feel her body's softness and warmth, and that unreserved trust.

Sasuko contentedly nestled against him, the two feeling each other's body heat in the tranquility.

"Yu," after a moment, Sasuko spoke softly again. "Recently you've sometimes suddenly disappeared... are you encountering some trouble?"

Seeing the timing was right, she asked the worry she'd been harboring these past days.

Yu froze slightly. Aside from today, he'd always handled those Otsutsuki scouts swiftly. He hadn't expected Sasuko to notice even these subtle movements.

"Just some trivial work matters." He chose a gentle explanation. "Don't worry, I can handle it."

Sasuko looked up, expression gentle yet serious. "I know Yu is very capable. But... occasionally relying on me is also okay. There must be something I can help with—even small matters, you can tell me."

The girl's sincere words stirred warmth in Yu's heart. He gently stroked her long hair, responding softly: "Mm."

Seeing Yu still unwilling to elaborate, Sasuko didn't press further. In any case, they had plenty of time ahead—she could slowly walk into every corner of his heart.

Detecting her subtle disappointment, Yu deliberately changed the subject. "Sasuko, have you thought about what to do tomorrow morning?"

The person in his arms visibly stiffened.
