They had ended had ended the meeting very abruptly, and Edward had been led to a guest room on another corner of a mansion.
It was a large chamber furnished wonderfully with expensive items, in the centre of the room was a large bed, adorned with a silken veil. A small desk accompanied it to the side, and on the far end of the room was a large window looking out into the night.
It felt like he was in five star hotel. The kind that Edward had always seen commercials of in Earth.
It all still felt so surreal to him. No matter how hard he tried to get used to his new life.
He gave himself a moment to explore his room for the night, inspecting the various cabinets and adornments that decorated it. Then, when he eventually grew bored of it, he went into the washroom to clean himself.
The washroom was brightly lit with what looked like bulbs made out of mana, the light had a slight golden tinge to it, but it was not in any way lagging behind the bulbs from modern times.
