Third person point of view
On Friday, Junkyu woke up early and freshened up. He went to the kitchen and took out all the things he wanted. He was yet to return the lunch pack to Haruto. He thought about it and decided that he would also make lunch and give it to Haruto. He practiced throughout the week and he was confident enough now.
He finished making it and put it in the boxes. He packed it and smiled. He went to take a shower and dress up. Once he was done, he took all his things and also the lunch pack with him. He went to Haruto and smiled. He gave him a hug and got in the car. They reached the office and Junkyu gave the pack to Haruto.
Haruto took it and thought it was heavier than it should be. He looked up at Junkyu. Junkyu grinned. " I made lunch for you ". Haruto was surprised. He looked down at it and smiled. " Thank you so much ". Junkyu smiled wider. Haruto saw him beaming and his heart skipped a beat. He moved forward and kissed Junkyu's cheek.
Junkyu was shocked and blushed. Haruto just smiled. Junkyu looked around and hit Haruto's arm. Haruto chuckled willing to take the hit. Junkyu shook his head and picked up his bag. " I will get going ". " Wait ". Junkyu stopped and turned to Haruto. " I thought of going to the bar today. Want to come with me ? "
" Sure. I will see you at the cafe ". " I might take some time. But I will come as soon as I can ". Junkyu nodded and got out of the car. Their day was over and Junkyu went to the cafe after he was done. He ordered a drink and dessert and sat down with it. He finished it but Haruto was still nowhere to be seen.
He let out a sigh and thought of waiting for a while more before calling. He picked up his phone to waste time. It has been 5 minutes and Haruto called him. " I am outside ". " Alright. Do you want anything to drink ? " " No. I am fine ". " Okay ". Junkyu picked up his bag and walked outside.
He saw Haruto's car was already parked on the side. He quickly went up to it and got in. " I am sorry ". Haruto said as soon as Junkyu got in. Junkyu turned to Haruto. " Did I say anything ? " " You won't. That is the problem ". Junkyu chuckled. He looked around cautiously and quickly pecked Haruto's cheek.
" I know you won't promise something and not come. So there is nothing to complain about. And you need not feel bad too ". Haruto smiled. " I guess I am really lucky ". " For ? " " Meeting a person like you ". Junkyu chuckled. " Let's go ". Haruto started the engine and drove to the bar. Haruto told Junkyu about how he was late.
Junkyu listened and burst out laughing. Haruto was confused. " Why ? " " You were only complaining half the time instead of telling what happened ". Haruto rolled his eyes. " Then how can they make me late in meeting my boy- " Haruto stopped confusing Junkyu. Junkyu repeated the sentence in his head and raised an eyebrow.
" Finish it ". Junkyu guessed what Haruto wanted to say. Haruto didn't say anything. Junkyu chuckled. " Say it. I really mean it ". Haruto reached the place and parked the car. He turned the engine off and turned to look at Junkyu. Junkyu was already looking at him. " My boyfriend ". Junkyu's face blossomed into a beautiful smile.
He immediately turned pink. " Right. Sounds really nice to the ears ". Haruto chuckled. " If I knew you liked it and are fine with it, I would've used it more ". Junkyu chuckled. " Let's go ". He got out of the car and both of them went to find Jihoon. " Hello ". Jihoon turned around. " You are showing up together more often ".
Junkyu chuckled. He moved closer holding Haruto's arm. " It is because we are together ". Haruto was just as perplexed as Jihoon. Both of them froze for a few seconds. Jihoon looked at their faces and then their hands. Yoshi walked up to them and saw their posture. He also saw Jihoon's expression. He understood what it was.
" Congratulations ". " Thank you ". Junkyu replied. Jihoon folded his hands. He did doubt if Haruto had something for Junkyu after the incident happened. But this progress was faster than he had expected. " We should talk then ". Junkyu rolled his eyes. He didn't know why this couple always acted like his parents.
Haruto suddenly felt nervous. Junkyu patted his arm. " Don't worry. It is fine ". Haruto nodded. Jihoon took them to Hyunsuk. Hyunsuk saw them and his jaw also dropped. " Did I jinx it ? " Junkyu laughed. " Maybe ". Hyunsuk also laughed. They sat down and Haruto was still a little nervous.
Hyunsuk also noticed it. " Please relax. We don't bite ". They all laughed. " We only hope you take good care of him ". Haruto nodded and held Junkyu's hand, giving it a light squeeze. " I will ". Junkyu smiled and held his hand back. They had a nice dinner like before. Haruto didn't drink but Junkyu did. He was ecstatic and drank while eating.
