"What did you say?" Bradley, who had been an observer for a while, finally found a chance to interject.

"Teach magic? That's something only high-level magicians can do. Are you telling me that you've already reached that level?"

This time, however, Morin didn't want to argue with him anymore. While a few thousand more words wouldn't be a problem, the readers would probably have left by then... and that wouldn't do!

"Guess," Morin said, throwing out his universal response and almost choking Bradley. Guess if I'm gonna guess!

"You don't need to worry about what happens next," Morin said, patting Bradley on the shoulder and pulling Catrina away. "You just keep exposing those fraudulent magic tricks to make money, and we'll spend some time studying. We'll let you know when it's time to act, how's that?"

"Don't say things like that!" Bradley said angrily. "What do you mean, 'fraudulent magic tricks'? What I'm doing is perfectly legal!"

The plan, of course, wouldn't start right away. Besides teaching Catrina how to use magic, Morin also needed to study the tax laws of this era and get his certification.

He also had to apply for a job at the IRS... Of course, he wouldn't need Catrina for this part.

Morin would handle it himself, using magic to "reasonably" overcome any potential discrimination and get his IRS agent license.

But after that, he would need her.

As an IRS agent, he couldn't hypnotize his boss to get some kind of deal.

That would 100% be considered an illegal transaction by the system.

But what if a non-IRS agent, not under Morin's command, "happened" to hypnotize his boss, and his boss agreed to Morin's terms? Would that count?

Morin wasn't sure. In his previous lives, he had never had a chance to try something like this. He never had a subordinate who understood what he was trying to do!

But now that he had found someone with mind-related abilities, this idea came back to him.

What if I don't say anything and let my partner figure it out on their own? Would that be a violation?

This was precisely why Morin had to teach Catrina. If Morin did it himself, it would be easy, but it would also mean that any money he earned wouldn't count as experience points.

Intentionally manipulating a transaction was considered an illegal transaction and didn't count toward his experience points!

Why was Morin going through all this trouble?

For the experience points, of course!

So, by training Catrina and having her do the hypnotizing while he handled the transaction, it shouldn't be considered an illegal transaction, right?

In short, Morin wanted to try to exploit a loophole! If it worked... Morin glanced at Catrina.

"So..." Catrina, who felt a little uncomfortable under Morin's gaze, felt a strange sensation all over her body.

She had a feeling of being... Bah!

She had a feeling of being constantly watched and quickly tried to interrupt. "How are you going to teach me?"

"Well..." Morin thought for a moment. "If I said we had to be naked and put our palms together, you'd probably say I was being a pervert, right?"

"What do you think?" Catrina rolled her eyes.

"Exactly," Morin sighed. "So, we'll start with memorization and then move on to practice!"

Catrina: "???"

"What?" Catrina said, looking confused.

"Alright, alright, I'm just kidding," Morin said, waving his hand and then becoming serious.

"However, I do need to touch you. I need to feel the flow of magic in your body and correct and teach you how to release this magic, one by one."

Morin wanted to get the magic books from the Eye of Providence to learn not just the magic itself, but also the basics of magic.

For example, how is magic constructed?

Morin didn't know. He only used the magic in his body based on the feeling the system gave him, allowing him to perform the magic.

This was like Morin using a pre-made weapon, but he had no idea about its structure, its principles, or why it worked the way it did.

If he knew the basics of magic, Morin might even be able to deduce some magic on his own without the skills provided by the system!

And once he mastered the basics of magic, Morin wouldn't need to use this hands-on teaching method to teach others.

He could just teach them the basics, give them some problems to solve, and have them memorize and practice! Why go through all this trouble?

However... as Morin watched Catrina, whose face was flushed and breathing was ragged, as she lay on the sofa, seemingly unable to handle the sudden surge of magic in her body, he had a strange look on his face.

At the same time,

he finally understood why he had to take off a woman's clothes to heal her, but not a man's. So that's what was happening! Morin thought to himself.

"Hurry up and teach me!" Catrina said, sounding anxious. She felt her entire body filled with a kind of power she had never imagined before.

If she didn't release it soon, she would explode!

"Don't worry..." Morin helped Catrina sit up, placing his hand on her back. He controlled his magic, dividing it into units, and did the same with Catrina's magic.

Then, two units of Morin's magic, each carrying one unit of Catrina's magic, were arranged according to the magic arrangement of the Advanced Guiding Heart Skill.

This was Morin's current method. He could control his own magic like a limb, but he couldn't control Catrina's.

So, he could only use this true hands-on (physically) method to control Catrina's magic and let her directly experience how the spell works!

No wonder Catrina felt like she was about to explode. She was just a small pond, and suddenly two times the amount of water was poured in.

The fact that she could hold it was a testament to Catrina's extraordinary talent!

"Remember, this is how it works~" Morin said, slowing down the process. He then picked out a hamster he had bought specifically for this and made the hamster run on the running wheel.

"Phew, phew~" After the release, Catrina was in a state of weakness, unable to even move.

Morin: "..."

Why is this happening? Shouldn't she just be a little weak?

"It feels like you've drained me dry..." Catrina said, feeling the emptiness in her body. She wanted to cry. This man was a devil!

"I'm sorry, it's my first time, so I'm a little rusty. But it's not a big problem." Morin infused her with some of his magic, breaking the connection and leaving some of his energy in Catrina's body, filling her up so she no longer felt empty.

Hmm... why does this sound wrong?

Anyway, with the magic Morin gave her, Catrina no longer felt that extreme mental exhaustion!

"...How much magic do you have?" Catrina asked, coming to her senses and looking at Morin curiously.

"I felt like you used almost two times my amount of magic to control me just now, and now you've given me another dose? But you don't seem to feel weak at all?"

"That's not important," Morin said. "How much did you remember?"

"Uh..." Catrina was stunned and tried to remember that feeling. "About... half?"

In reality, Catrina felt she remembered less than a third. She was about to explode; who could remember that much?

"I can probably understand how you feel, but if I don't control all your magic, you'll inevitably lose balance when you use it. That's why I had to put in so much magic to perform the spell," Morin said, thinking.

"However, there isn't no way to solve this."

"What's the solution?" Catrina's eyes lit up.

"Have you ever heard of..." Morin thought carefully about his words and then said, "practice makes perfect, and repetition becomes second nature?"

Catrina: "???"

For some reason, Catrina suddenly had a bad feeling.

"Since you can't sense the magic when you're overwhelmed..." Morin said, "we'll just keep overwhelming you until you get used to it!"

This was another way of saying, if you can't solve the problem, solve the person who has the problem!

Catrina: "!!!"

What kind of solution is that? It's the same as before!

One year later.

Morin walked out of the tax office, politely accepting a piece of paper with a phone number from a female colleague.

He walked straight to a sedan parked on the side of the road and opened the door.

"Did you get it?" Catrina asked.

"I got it." Morin looked at Catrina. "You're in the wrong seat."

"No, I'm not." Catrina shook her head, holding the steering wheel firmly. "I got my driver's license."

"...Alright." Morin gave in and walked to the other side to get in. "Seriously, am I that bad of a driver? Did I force you to rush and get your license?"

"It's not about being bad, okay?" Catrina's face turned pale as she recalled Morin's driving.

"You weren't driving a sedan; you were driving a race car in the city!"

"Yeah, well, it's not a big deal~" Morin said, touching the license in his hand. "We can finally begin..."

In the past year, Morin had successfully taught Catrina how to use the charm magic, and he himself had passed the necessary IRS licensing exam.

He then used magic to hypnotize a few interviewers and the head of the human resources department to approve his job application.

It wasn't a transaction; he was doing it to get an official IRS agent license, so he could use magic without any consequences.

Today, Morin had just finished his new employee orientation. This meant their operation could officially begin!

Just as Morin was thinking, the Advanced Car Master skill reflected Catrina's driving actions back to him.

Morin's mouth twitched as he watched the car start and crash into the car in front of them.

"So..." Morin turned his head to look at Catrina. "Is this the driver's license you got? Tell me, how many times did you use your charm magic?"

"Uh," Catrina said, looking a little embarrassed. "Three times... or four?"

"Great..." Morin sighed, rubbing his forehead. "If I'm not mistaken, there was only one written test and one road test, right?"
