Looking at Usopp and Luffy arguing about who will be Captain brought a happiness to Jack, he still remembered how he laughed after reading the manga when this scene happen.

Jack body stiffened. His vision blurred for a moment as flashes of cosmic blueprints, weapons and strange alien devices filled his mind. He saw the Domo ship, the one Eternals used to move at FTL and remembered how it cut through space using energy alone. He felt something he never felt before, smelled the heat of cosmic forges and understood technologies far beyond this world.
When the memory surge stopped, he realized he was grinning like an idiot because first his superhuman ability had quadrupled compared to before and also he had become the most genius inventor in the world.
If Vegapunk ability scaled at 10, then his ability scaled at 100 making his technology more powerful than the Vegapunk.
Luffy and Zoro had noticed Jack smiled madly like an idiot.
"Oi, Jack. Why are you smiling like that?"
Everyone turned to look at him.
"Did something happen again?" Nami asked, folding her arms.
Jack exhaled slowly, the grin not leaving his face. "Yeah. I just… my power had returned."
Usopp blinked. "Power returned?"
"Captain," Jack said. "Let's stay here for a while maybe 3 to 4 days I wanted to upgrade our ship."
There was silence for a second. Then...
"Another upgrade?" asked Luffy.
"Yes... can you leave all the upgrade thing with me?" asked Jack.
"Okay... shishishi," laughed Luffy, he also a bit excited and hope that Jack would add laser or cannon on his ship.
TIME SKIP - 2 DAYS LATER
Zoro, Usopp, Luffy and Nami didn't stay with him because he had prevented them to go near the ship unless something important happen. He wanted to surprise them with every addition that he add into this ship.
While Jack are busy adding a new technology here and there inside the ship, suddenly he heard from Nami that the enemy had come to this island to attack villagers. They are the crew of Captain Kuro, luckily they were saved because of the existence of Luffy and Zoro and this two monster had defeated the entire crew easily.
After that Luffy celebrate their win with party and invite all villagers, also thanks to Jack power he can change something into food and the next day, the upgrade completed.
"Captain, do you know what special about our ship?" asked Jack.
"Can it shoot laser?" replied Luffy excitedly.
Hearing laser make Usopp are also excited.
"Even better than that," replied Jack.
Luffy upon hearing this are begging Jack to show him what he had upgraded.
"Ok Captain," then he activated the mood.
Jack then raising both hand and doing something with his hand, sometimes it move left and right, sometimes it is up and down. The circles metal are moved on his hand, the rest of the crew become interested and just looked at his hand.
P/S: If you watch eternal you might know what im talking about, phastos way of using his technology are really unique.
Then it happened.
A moment later, the Going Merry lifted, just a meter above the water.
"EEEEHHHHH?!" Usopp jaw dropped so hard it nearly hit the pier.
"THE SHIP JUST FLEW!" Nami shouted, clutching her head.
Even Zoro eyes widened. "What did you just do, Jack?"
Luffy eyes sparkled like stars. "WOOOAH! THIS IS AMAZING! MERRY CAN FLY NOW! HAHAHA!"
Jack just grinned. "And that's not all. Please get on board, I have something to show you guys."
Still stunned with the surprised from Jack, the crew climbed aboard. Jack led them toward the interior. What used to be a cramped little room where the rudder controls were located had now transformed into a sleek, modern cockpit with a polished helm and glowing panels.
Usopp rubbed his eyes. "I… I must be dreaming. This looks like a warship control room!"
"It's not a warship," Jack corrected with a smirk, "it's better. This is Merry new navigation hub. I've added radar so we can track incoming ships and storms before they even appear on the horizon."
Nami jaw slackened as she stared at the glowing radar screen. "You can… track weather patterns with this?"
"Yes," Jack said proudly. "And we can steer with this rudder system. It's much more responsive than a wooden wheel. The sails are still functional, but we now have an engine powered by a cosmic arc reactor."
"Arc what?" Zoro asked.
"Basically," Jack explained, "it takes any energy, even enemy attacks and converts it into power for the ship. If a cannonball hits us, we don't lose durability, we gain free fuel."
"That's… insane," Usopp muttered.
But Jack wasn't done. "Follow me."
He opened a door and led them deeper inside the ship. The crew gasped as they stepped into a hallway that clearly should not have been able to exist in a ship this small.
"Jack…" Nami said slowly, "how big is the inside now?"
"Thirty rooms," Jack replied casually. "I expanded the interior using spatial compression technology."
"Spatial what?!" Usopp screeched.
Jack ignored him and began pointing at doors as they walked. "This is the radar room. That one is the training hall, complete with reinforced walls so Zoro won't slice the ship in half. That one is a gravity chamber. You can train at up to ten times normal gravity."
"Ten times?!" Zoro smirked. "Finally, some real training."
"There's a bathhouse down the hall, a small indoor garden, and even an aquarium where we can keep fresh fish alive."
Luffy was bouncing like a hyperactive child. "WE HAVE A GRAVITY ROOM! AND AN AQUARIUM! THIS IS THE BEST SHIP EVER!"
But Jack saved the most exciting technology for last.
"Oh, and one more thing," Jack said, grinning mischievously. "If any giant or anyone taller than 2 meters steps within ten meters of Merry, they'll automatically shrink to normal human size."
Everyone turned to stare at him.
"Wait… WHAT?!" Usopp said.
Jack shrugged. "Safety measure. From information I received they are Giant race living in Grandline and Luffy won't you invite Giant to become part of the crew?"
Luffy grinned first, "Shishishi..." then there was a long pause before Luffy face split into the widest grin imaginable.
"JACK…" he said, his voice trembling with excitement. "…YOU'RE AWESOME!!!"
The captain jumped into the air, landing on Jack shoulders and laughing. "WE'RE GONNA BE THE BEST PIRATES EVER!"
Everyone couldn't help but smile even Zoro, who pretended to look unimpressed, was clearly excited about the gravity room.
For the first time since coming to this world, Jack felt like he was shaping the Straw Hats in ways to become the best pirate ever.
