Isadora dragged Adin into her room, despite his vocal resistance.
"Would you rather stay there where everyone is looking at you like some big mouth, traitor? Just stay in here with me. Nothing will happen to you here. I can't believe the nerve of Dearest. How could he think you'd ever betray him? That's nonsense!" She began to pace in annoyance.
Adin sat on her bed, his face buried in his palm, as everything that had happened in the last couple of years flashed through his mind.
"Don't let anyone make you feel like you're something you're not, Adin. I know you well enough to know how much you care about him, and all of his ideas. You would never hurt a fly. How could you betray him? It's nonsense!"
