Ross Voltron managed to lose the two cars coming after him.
"Take that you bastards!" He celebrated his victory.
When Valentina didn't react, he looked down to see she was still like a statue.
"Valentina? Val?! Shit!"
He drove rough and fast, until he arrived at the port where he was meeting up with Katie.
"Really? You're just only coming?"
He heard a voice ask as soon as he rolled down the window.
"Katie? You're already here?"
"Of course I'm here! The whole country is being shut down. This is the only way you can escape to another county. Are you ready?"
He looked down at Valentina's stilled body, and Katie followed his gaze.
"What's up with her?" She asked.
"I think she's in shock," he replied.
"Well, she'll just have to get out of shock on the ship. Let's go!"
With the help of the woman, he carried Valentina's pale, feverish body into the cargo area stuffed with smuggled goods being transported.
