-several hours later-
Getting through the long hallway has been a difficult task.
While defeating every guard I come across would have hasten my progress, the entire base would go on alert if multiple guards failed to check in.
So... other than the three guards I knocked out when I first entered the compound, I have evaded the rest.
Still I've had plenty of time to move around unnoticed.
I found one peculiar room... it contained a massive wall of flowing lava. Other than two statues and a dinning table, there was nothing else in the room.
After inspecting the wall, I noticed that there was a small split in the lava, which could mean that there may be another room hidden behind.
But with no obvious mechanism to open the wall, there is just no way am I getting through that. And I can't be spending all my time trying to find a way in.
So I exited the room, memorized its location and continued down the hallway checking for other unlock doors.
Eventually I found my way into an empty laboratory. Various machines and computers spread throughout the room.
Checking one of the computers I discovered numerous blueprints of weapons and other gadgets. Most blueprints were easy to access, but some were hidden behind electronic security.
On the table were sketches of robots, similar to the one I saw in the jungle. Most of the draws were incomplete, but they still provided a clear picture of what they were trying to accomplish.
Looking through all the papers on the table I noticed a report. It was both interesting and concerning.
It speaks of a storage room, within the compound, where the "first production run" is being stored in preparation for the success of Project Kronos.
It states that all merchandise has been calibrated and prepared for immediate distribution.
Getting my hands on some of those gadgets would be ideal. It would also get me one step closer to the system mission objective.

Was it something I did?
Going back to the door, I slightly open it to see what is happening within the hallway.
Rushing pass the door were several guards and what appears to be a hover cart racing through the hall.
I wait a few minutes after they pass thinking that now would be the best time to make it to the special storage room.
Except I can hear the guards again, so I am forced to remain in the laboratory to avoid the risk of being spotted in the hallway.
As the hover cart passes the door again, there is a giant black bubble being carried away. The bubble's surface appears like tar and it large enough to hold a person inside.
I notice a woman following the cart talking to a guard. She looks like someone in charge due to how the guards were acting around her.
She discusses the need for the removal solution, to get Mr. Incredible out of the bubble and to prepare the containment cell.
Mr. Incredible???
Having gone through my cover identity's files before leaving for Guam, I heard that he was a retired hero, now living a civilian life ... why is he here?
... Doesn't matter right now, he is in trouble.
But I can't help him if he is stuck in a trap and is surrounded by guards.
Heading to the special storage room to acquire some new gear will help my chances of success.
Thus I leave the laboratory and head directly toward the storage room.
