Time passed again, me and the bastard explored and devoured but we got too greedy
We met a strong one
It was a Phoenix like me and the water bastard
Half like me and half like him
It was made out of Fire and Water
It destroyed us in the fight
I remembered the rift, close to my death I remembered it
It was what first made me experience fear and curiosity
Now that I was on death's door what was the reason to stop
We had luckily fought close to the rift
I conveyed my intention to the water bastard before we used our remaining powers in one burst to blast away
I went through the portal inches in front of the water bastard
As I entered and looked back I realised the portal instantly closed when i entered
Neither of the water bastards couldn't enter
.
.
.
The portal changed me
I know now and could feel it then
My properties were changing
I understood
I lost the ability
The ability to devour
My current form would stay like this
I arrived in a cave, an underwater cave
To this new Pla….
.
.
.
Tch
He will learn anyways
There's no point in stopping me telling him
Our souls are linking he's getting my memories
Hmmm
Or wait.. do you think he can have devoured abilities?
That shouldn't be possible in this world
But the chance
HAHAHA
That sounds fun
He was boring me
But he might turn out to be fun
Luis woke up groaning, it was a long dream. Luis's eyes opened he just stared at the ceiling. It felt weird. The dream felt so vivid and real that current reality to him was feeling fake.
Yesterday felt like it happened ages ago. Luis didn't even have time to digest what he dreamt, when a sound disturbed him.
Beside his bed Luis heard his mother's sound.
"LUIS!" She said as she grabbed his shoulders gently
Luis looked at the source of the sound seeing dark circles under his mothers eye and tears racing down her cheeks.
"ARE YOU OKAY!"
"WHAT HAPPENED, WHY DID YOU SLEEP FOR SO LONG!"
Luis groaned again
"what do you mean mom?"
Slight panic set in Luis as he asked that because the dream felt so long, he did not want to imagine how long he had slept for.
"You were asleep for three days."
Elena said her voice tight
"Nothing we did would wake you up."
Luis exhaled a sign of relief, three days felt like a small time for what he just experienced.
Luis's vision finally fully adjusted after waking up. Looking up he could see the small streaks of tears in his moms eyes even clearer.
A pang of guilt hit him, he didn't expect his mom to be so worried just because he slept a few days. Luis raised his right hand putting it on his left shoulder which his mom was holding with her right hand.
"It's okay mom, I just had a long dream."
Luis said with a smile
Elena took a deep breath relaxing, she let go of his shoulders and sat beside him on the bed
"Luis honey can you tell me what kind of dream?"
She said in a calming tone.
"It's a long story" Luis replied
"It's fine just tell me"
Luis went on to tell his mom what happened in the dream and Luis said that it was probably the Phoenix's memories.
It was quite obvious. The flower literally turned into a fire Phoenix. Luis saw it. Well he saw it and experienced it. He was somehow seeing the flower/phoenix in third person and first person.
The more Luis thought about it the more weird the dream felt. It wasn't even fading away like any normal dream. The memories still felt vivid.
Still Luis chose not to mention this, Luis didn't mention that the dream felt endless or that he experienced how the Phoenix came to be. Luis just said he saw it.
Elena watched quietly as Luis explained. Only speaking once Luis finished.
"Luis, my dear did you experience any pain or discomfort in the dream?"
'I shouldn't tell her'
"No mom I didn't experiance any pain or discomfort."
Luis said after a split second of deliberation that might have been to long for someone as strong as Elena to notice.
Elena paused for a moment as she heard what Luis said.
"Luis, honey while you were asleep the Xoliti clan deity came, it said whatever was happening to you was related to the Phoenix essence, it didn't say if it was bad or good. But from what you have said it's very likely what you experienced was real, most likely the Phoenixs memory's."
"So it was real."
Elena hesitated she looked more tired than Luis had ever seen her.
"It isn't certain that the dream is real."
"But all that matters is you are awake." Elena said while pulling Luis into a tight embrace.
They stayed like that for a few moments in silence. Luis could hear the fast and uneven heartbeat of his mother, which didn't reflect the calmness she was trying to show.
Elena pulled back from the hug and cupped Luis's cheek.
"Luis just promise me that if you ever have a dream like that again even if it's not too long, you will come and tell me."
"I promise"
A look of relief appeared across her face.
Elena stood up while smiling placing a hand on Luis's head. A golden flame surrounded Luis's body.
"Now Luis, you should go take a shower, in the meantime I'll make you some food okay?" Elena said with a smile.
Luis nodded in agreement.
As Elena left the room, the warmth from the flame slowly faded. Luis still had the energy given only the warmth faded.
Luis looked down at his hand.
Raising it Luis closed his eyes.
After opening his eyes a smile appeared across Luis's face.
There was a small leaf in his hand, a leaf made out of aura.
It was the fastest Luis had made a leaf before.
