Daehyun grinned. "I'll meet you downstairs."
He left before Soorin could protest.
She and Haejin stood in the empty hallway. Conference room door closed behind them.
"You okay?" she asked.
"I should be asking you that. You looked like you were going to pass out when Park mentioned Sera."
"I'm fine."
"You're a terrible liar."
She smiled despite herself. "Okay. Fine. I'm not thrilled about Moon Sera."
"Why?"
"Because—" She hesitated. How did she explain this without sounding jealous? "Because she's going to make everything complicated."
"She's just a guest. She'll be there for five days."
"Five days is a long time when cameras are involved."
Haejin studied her face. "Are you worried about something specific?"
'Yes. I'm worried she's going to flirt with you and I'm going to have to watch while pretending I don't care.'
But she couldn't say that.
"I'm worried she's going to cause drama. For ratings. And you guys don't need more drama."
"We can handle it."
"Can you?"
