As I opened my eyes and I could barely feel my body,it was numb and sore, I couldn't breathe, I could hear loud blaring outside this glass.
As I punched through the glass unconsciously using some wind, half of the room exploded, as the dust slowly settled and I stood up I could see a couple dozen of armored awakened at the new bigger entrance of the room.
Slowly raising my hands in a peaceful gesture finally realizing where I was, I could see the men and women lower their own weapons.
As I got dressed I walked to the interview room.
Entering and exchanging greetings with the man, we got straight to business.
"Where did you find another gateway?"
"I didint"
"Then how are you here?"
"I passed the second nightmare"
As the man stared at me visible shock growing on his pale slightly wrinkled face I urged him to not waste my time.
As he cleared his throat,
"Anything you wish to share about your second nightmare?"
I thought it "not really, but it was connected to my first nightmare, you can think of it as a sequel if you will"
As the man typed it in his computer he continued asking questions.
As I entered the cafeteria quite a few eyes flew to me and I saw the my temporary cohort at one of the tables clearly have been informed of my awakening.
As I slowly approached them, I slowly stood infront of them I'm sure I would feel hatred if I could in this situation.
"You left me to wonder that hellhole" I simply said,
As I eyes strayed to Nephis who gave the idea to leave since I would just wake up and enter the gateway.
"Didint you go through the gateway?" Gemma asked standing up and clearly puzzled.
"It didint work" as several eyes widened I could see the most likely couse of most of the events enter the cafeteria and approach our table Cassie.
As she neared us and walked next to Nephis she asked to be excused with Nephis only for me to interrupt her "you knew, you and Nephis" as Cassie's shoulders stiffened and Nephis managed to keep up the act, I only questioned again "why?"
"Did I not save hundreds of lives ? Did I not take on a terror alone?" As several eyes widened from other tables when they heard that, I immeadetly noticed some of them started recording and I let them,"I fought for years sacrificed again and again for the good of the people" as I poused to take a breath "what do I get in return? Betrayal now does that seem fair?" As I glanced around at the ones present I continued "you left me there for God knows how long, I had to defeat my second nightmare as a sleeper, just to escape that Cursed wasteland" I approached Nephis and Cassie who took a step back, I stopped hearing dozens of heavy footsteps and voices looking at the door I could see the same men and women approach me weapons raised slightly but not in a offensive gesture "please follow us, your are not in any trouble" as I just looked at them "and if I don't?" As some sweat ran down some of the awakened's temples clearly knowing what I am capable of from reports. " we will be forced to take action", as I turned around not caring about the moves of the government I could hear one of them approach raising his arm to reach my shoulder only to get stopped, a thin wind shell appearing around me,
As I turned to the man who to tried to touch me "what do your leaders want from me?".
As he silently explained the situation to me, I simply nodded as answer and told them to wait a moment as I looked at Nephis and Cassie and asked "did you tell Sunny what you had planned for him ?" This time Nephis and Cassie both took a step back as widened, as I noticed their expressions I turned to Sunny who had a brow raised and approached him, as nephis tried to grab me I simply appeared next to Sunny and whispered into his ear "they know your shadowbond thing whatever it is" as Sunny's eyes widened as he quickly got up looking at me like I killed his mother, "I am the telling the truth on both accounts take it as you will, I have business to take care off" appearing next to the awakened from before we walked out of the cafeteria.
As I entered an office, I could an middle aged. Learnt overworked and stressed man behind the table.
"Master Naruto,I assume?" I nodded,
"Great, I'll be brief a chain of nightmares is happening in antarctica, and we are asking you to help." As I stared at him raising a brow "the fuck is antarctica?" As man stared st me dumbfounded "you don't know?" As I sat down un the comfortable chair I said "I'm from the outskirts" the man nodded clearly understanding.
As he explained antarctica in deep detail and what is happening there, I thought about if I really should go. " do you have the authority to invoke access to nightmare seeds?" As the man looked at me clearly puzzled "I do not" I nodded "well if you get me a 3rd nightmare seed I will join the antarctica campaign, if not I might join later but quite frankly I wished to rest for now" I left the office.
after all the last time he did so much for others it resulted in betrayal, why would he do it for free now.
As I was walking to my dorm room whitch was still mine appearently Sunny appeared from the shadows "how did you know that they knew" I gave him a glance "I heard them talking about it silently one night" as he nodded used to his strange hearing abilities by now he asked another question "will you join the campaign?" I shook my head Sunny stopped "why not?" "I'm tired Sunny, I was left there for what was appearently basically a full year, and I had to clear my second nightmare as a sleeper, did you think that was easy?" Sunny shook his head now "well ofcourse not, but you were the strongest there, so if anyone could of done it would be you, and you did it" I gave an empty chuckle "I guess I did huh" "well see you whenever Sunny I'm going to go sleep for a year or so".
I have been clearing any and all nightmare gates that appeared usually alone, due to his flying ability whitch was wmeven easier and quicker now he was able to fly from gate to gate or any creatures that were left alive.
Due to this he received a nickname by the civilians "the grey flash" it was quite ironic and even slightly cringey but the people felt safer atleast.
The next morning he received a call to arrive st the academy.
As he entered the same office he was in a month prior he could see the same man and a new tall figure who gave off a presence similar to his own.
"Hellow Naruto, I am saint sent by the government, for your apparent want to become a Saint" I nodded sitting in the same chair "we got a 3rd nightmare seed for you but there are conditions." I nodded again "first you must immeadetly go to antarctica when you complete it" I nodded since this was the deal he made himself " and must become a government saint" I frowned at this and asked "any more conditions?" The saint shook his head in a no "how much leeway would I have as a government saint" the saint thought about it for a second "you could mostly do whatever you wish within reason of course but you would need respond to any and all crisis in your own area or any notifications by the government" I simply nodded and got up "I accept"
As I entered the nightmare seed I could only hope it wouldn't take forever.
