Chapter 82 - Tied In Time

Round 5 starts:

Starting pot: 20 seconds

Game Time: 3:00

Time until end: 12:05

Todor: So what now, you are going to let me read you, Bandeer?

Bandeer: What could I do?

Bandeer (That's it, Todor, just think you can read me... You forgot I am the best gambler in the world! Keep trying to get information out of me instead of the rules itself. Poker face on-)

Starts shuffling the deck, then deals the cards. Then shows the community card for Todor.

Greg (I think I have solved something Todor might have not yet!)

Bandeer: Todor's turn to start the bet!

Todor waits through his time.

Todor: I want 1 new card.

Greg: I want 1 too!

While Todor waits for time before making his next move

Greg (Todor currently sees the community card. For the third time out of 5 rounds, if Bandeer really wants me to win, then I think... It does not influence who wins the round!)

Todor checks - Greg's turn

Greg (Also... Todor really thinks he has more information or just wants me to think he does? He had a hand and knew it was a winning hand... That actually reveals more for me than for him!)

Greg folds

Todor (He folded? Without any raise?)

Round 5 results:

Todor - Won

Greg - Fold

In pot - 0:20

Lasted: 0:40

Round 6 starts:

Starting pot: 25 seconds

Game Time: 3:40

Time until end: 11:05

Todor (Pot increased again)

Bandeer deals the cards - The community card is shown to Greg

Todor (Two rule secret solved then)

Bandeer: Greg starts now!

Greg (The hands are not made by regular poker rules, since then the joker could be any card, that would have made my hand unbeatable with a three of a kind of fours - Though it's possible he had a Joker in his hand, but even with those the best is three of a kind of threes, I would have won. A way to make the community cards does not matter in the winner determining though, is by simply giving them a value they have which get added together if you have them! The problem now though... I don't know when I should bet high... This information would be so wasted if we don't win against him if we start betting... and he could also figure this all out!)

Todor (Greg figured out something. Is it the winner determining rule? Good thing I don't need that now. If he plays along and none of us folds, I probably soon figure out the rule as well, if not... You will be eaten by my pot increasing trap)

Greg folds-

Todor (Good. Your advantage like this now simply becomes your disadvantage)

Round 6 results:

Todor - Won

Greg - Fold

In pot - 0:25

Lasted: 0:23

Round 7 starts:

Starting pot: 30 seconds

Game Time: 4:03

Time until end: 10:17

Cards are dealt - Todor's turn to start - Todor gets to see the community card

Greg (I got both Jokers! I think it's time to raise this round!)

Todor waits then asks for a new card.

Greg does not ask for a new one.

14 seconds later, Todor checks.

Greg: Okay, then. Raise to 1 minute!

Todor(Just as I thought)

Todor: Fold-

Grag (Damn you!)

Round 7 results:

Todor - Fold

Greg - Won

In pot - 0:30

Lasted: 0:35

Round 8 starts:

Starting pot: 35 seconds

Game Time: 4:38

Time until end: 10:12

Bandeer (They keep being so head to head... And even with me knowing what the secret rules are, I can barely keep up with what these two are thinking about!)

Greg (Something is off, but what? The pot keeps increasing, but why?)

Cards dealt - Community card shown to Greg - Greg's turn to start.

Greg (This is a much weaker hand than last time... Wait considering what cards I had from the beginning, in every round, yeah... Every time I lost a round... My hand became stronger than it was in the previous round! That's... Good in a way that after a loss of 2 in a row, I'm almost if not guaranteed to have a stronger hand, but bad in a way that... Todor could potentially solve the winner determination rule through this! Though with this hand I would probably lose no matter what! This round I can afford to fold, since he cannot see his hand getting stronger from a loss if he wins.)

Greg: Fold!

Todor (Perfect, keep it up, Greg)

Round 8 results:

Todor - Win

Greg - Fold

In pot - 0:35

Lasted: 0:19

Round 9 starts:

Starting pot: 40 seconds

Game Time: 4:57

Time until end: 9:23

Bandeer deals the cards - Community card shown to Greg - Todor's turn to start

Greg (This is a very strong hand! Though the pot increased again, it should not be a problem I think)

At the end of Todor's time - he asks for a new card

Greg (of course he keeps doing this, but why? He gives me more time to think like this, I know he does not need all this time to decide what he will do!)

Greg asks for a new card as well

(The Joker in my hand keeps my hand really valuable, but with throwing a card to get a new one, Todor might think I don't have a good hand enough)

Todor waits out his deadline

Todor: Fold-

Greg (F-fold? I... Am I playing exactly as he wants me to? I think he sure realised the hands are stronger if you lose.. But that doesn't necessarily mean he also know right away the winner deciding rule, since even in regular poker, the higher the card the more valuable it is)

Round 9 results:

Todor - Fold

Greg - Win

In pot - 0:40

Lasted: 0:32

Round 10 starts:

Starting pot: 45 seconds

Game Time: 5:29

Time until end: 9:31

Greg (The pot increased once again... I'm truly in a... infinitely looped trap...)
