Through my extended awareness, I watched the battle unfolding at the western district in a safe distance.

An enormous creature slammed its claws against the western barrier, sending cracks across its surface. Several defensive towers collapsed, forcing the hunters stationed on them to leap toward the remaining sections of the wall.
"Maintain your positions! Don't let the smaller beasts get through!" a commander shouted.
Dozens of hunters unleashed their skills, raining fireballs, lightning bolts, and wind blades upon the approaching horde.
Hundreds of beasts fell, but the creatures continued advancing, climbing over the bodies of their fallen companions.
"Damn it! There are too many!"
"Where are the reinforcements?!"
