Chapter 213 - Shinji Is 18

"Big sis Samui, why did you apologize to him?!" Karui looked at Samui, who had followed them, with an expression of displeasure.

Even Omoi, who was desperately trying to hold her back, couldn't stop her.

Samui would kill him later!

Omoi's entire face was filled with despair, on the verge of tears.

Samui first glanced at Omoi, who was hiding to the side, then looked at Karui and spoke coolly, "So what?"

"If you don't apologize, what do you think you can do?"

Although Bee was only Samui's kenjutsu teacher, that didn't mean Samui was unaware of his strength.

To put it bluntly, if the Fourth Raikage wasn't fully prepared, he might even be defeated by Bee. After all, Bee had the Eight-Tails, a Tailed Beast, and was known as the most perfect Jinchuriki.

What could Karui and Omoi, two rookies who weren't even Genin, do?

"I—"

Karui was still unconvinced. After all, this was their own village, why should they fear someone from Konoha?

Whoosh—

Samui drew a kunai she carried and instantly pressed it against Karui's forehead.

Her eyes were filled with indifference, and her tone was neither warm nor cold as she said, "See, you can't even defend against me."

"What else do you think you can do? That's a Jonin, a Jonin I have no confidence in facing."

Karui felt the warm trickle on her forehead and couldn't help but grit her teeth.

"Alright—"

"I understand."

Samui gracefully spun and retracted her kunai, then turned and walked away.

"From now on, the two of you go back to Cloud-Lightning Gorge and stay with Bee. You are not allowed to come out."

"Understood, big sis!" Omoi, who had been acting invisible, quickly responded loudly, his voice almost cracking.

At his residence, Shinji, who was resting, felt the gaze from behind him and couldn't help but show a trace of helplessness on his face.

He turned around and said to Hiruzen behind him, with a hint of exasperation, "Sensei, can you please go rest for a bit?"

Hiruzen's gaze was simply too strange, and Kakashi, beside Hiruzen, had the same expression.

Shisui seemed not to have reacted, looking at Shinji, then at the Hiruzen, with a bewildered expression.

"Hehe, Shinji, I remember you're already eighteen, aren't you?" Hiruzen asked with a chuckle, though it was clearly a rhetorical question.

"Ah, yes, eighteen. By normal standards, I'm considered long-lived now." Shinji rubbed his brow helplessly, responding to Hiruzen with a touch of exasperation.

Slap—

The next moment, his forehead was slapped by Hiruzen.

"Ouch!"

Shinji, who suddenly received this slap, covered his head. He recovered quickly, but it didn't mean he didn't feel pain.

"Say less of that." Hiruzen said grumpily, shaking his hand behind his back.

'So hard.'

"Yes, yes."

Shinji could only respond helplessly, at least it diverted Hiruzen's attention.

As for Kakashi, his eyes curved into a smile. It was the first time he had seen Shinji in such a predicament.

"You idiots."

In Cloud-Lightning Gorge, Bee was making strange gestures, muttering to himself. He completely disregarded the dozen or so people guarding him not far away, enjoying himself.

Ever since he escaped last time, and returned to recover and get out of bed, A had strictly forbidden Bee from stepping out of Cloud-Lightning Gorge. He even specifically deployed an elite squad of about ten people just to keep an eye on Bee.

"Hey, Bee, can't you just rest properly?" Inside Bee, Gyuki said helplessly.

"No, I just got a new idea, I have to remember it." Bee said, pulling out his notebook, frowning slightly, and began to write.

Hearing this, Gyuki sighed helplessly.

Having been inside Bee for so long, how could it not know Bee's thoughts?

Don't let Bee's boisterous demeanor fool you, his desire to win was second to none.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have rushed to that Lightning Release Ninjutsu without any hesitation.

"Sensei!"

A voice sounded, and then two figures stepped into Cloud-Lightning Gorge.

The squad leader guarding Bee merely glanced at them and then ignored them.

Bee, who had just finished writing, closed his notebook and then looked over.

"Yo, Karui, Omoi."

"Where did you two run off to so early in the morning?"

However, the next moment, Bee's brow furrowed.

"Where are your swords?"

As Bee's kenjutsu disciples, the swords Karui and Omoi carried were all chosen by him for them. Now they weren't carrying them, which was very strange.

Omoi reacted, his face showing a look of vexation. His sword wasn't broken, but it was still with Shinji.

"Sensei, I ran into that person. My sword was destroyed by him." Karui said without hesitation, her expression very displeased.

Omoi tried to stop her, but it was already too late.

Bee, however, put away his expression, showing no discernible attitude.

After a long pause, he finally spoke, "That person from Konoha, huh."

Karui nodded. "Yes, sensei. I originally wanted to get revenge for you, but I didn't expect that guy to block my attack in one move."

Even though she wasn't a Genin yet, she was stronger than an average Chunin. Her teacher was the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, the Fourth Raikage's brother.

Bee said nothing upon hearing this, instead looking at Omoi. After all, compared to Karui's impulsiveness and lack of planning, Omoi was cautious and serious. He wouldn't believe it if these two disciples could confront Shinji head-on.

"Bee-sensei, we ambushed him, but we didn't succeed." Omoi nodded.

In his heart, he was thinking about what to do. He had already reminded Karui not to say such things in front of Bee before they came, but she still did.

Will Bee rush out of Cloud-Lightning Gorge later?

If Samui finds out, will he get a beating?

Thinking of this, Omoi felt his entire life was bleak, once again on the verge of tears.

"Understood. Go back to training. I'll get you new swords later." Bee nodded, saying expressionlessly.

Eh?!

Not only Omoi, who was just in despair, but even Karui, who was initially very displeased, couldn't help but be stunned.

Bee, why does he seem a little different?

Bee, meanwhile, turned and walked towards his resting place not far away.

Gyuki inside him was constantly roaring, "Bee! Don't be impulsive!"

Listening to Gyuki's words, Bee chuckled and said, "You idiot, I'm Bee."
