After settling breakfast in the dining hall, Sawada Tsunayoshi returned to his room and began sketching out a dedicated training space.
Unlike the living quarters, which were meant to feel relaxed, the training area would exist purely for pushing the body.
"I'll need a live-combat zone next—somewhere Finn and the others can fight monsters tailored to their personal weaknesses. The whole space has to be extremely sturdy, and if possible, self-repairing."
A field that gets wrecked every time you spar is a pain. Tsunayoshi wanted something durable that could mend itself so he wouldn't be forced to waste attention rebuilding it over and over.
As for the environment…
A vision of a "jungle canyon" surfaced in his mind.
That floor in the Dungeon had a brutally harsh climate. Even within the Dungeon's constraints, the canyon's savagery felt only barely suppressed.
What if he brought that environment into the training space?
Fighting monsters that target your weak points while the terrain itself tries to kill you—difficulty spikes in a straight line.
But that's reality: real battles happen in the worst conditions.
Tsunayoshi fixed the design for this live-combat space on the spot.
"Next is a space for daily conditioning."
"The conditioning area doesn't need many fixtures—just a separate living and rest wing. We'll prepare distinct wings for men and women."
"And then I need an environment that applies heavier pressure on the body."
Ability growth only accelerates when you hit your limit. Tsunayoshi had already decided on the method for wringing out ability points.
Gravity is one of the cleanest ways to load the body. In a high-gravity field, overall strain rises to the maximum.
Even a mere 'one extra G' becomes punishing over time if you're required to remain there for long stretches—the body's burden compounds with every passing hour.
"Besides gravity, I need extreme climates to push pain tolerance further."
A pure-white palace flashed across his mind.
"The Room of Spirit and Time—now that's a great idea!"
In Dragon Ball, that cheat-box space ran at a ratio of one year inside to one day outside, but it limited each person to two days total; stay longer and the door sealed permanently, leaving you exiled in a cut-off world.
"Better not accelerate time for now," he decided.
"An environment that nasty will crush people if they stay too long; the mental strain alone would be severe."
"And if the gravity starts too high, a normal human wouldn't last an hour."
"If your body can't withstand the load, you invite pointless death."
Given that time outside was relatively free lately—but that the sterile whiteness of such a room could impose heavy psychological stress—there was no need to accelerate the internal clock. Likewise, any absurd gravity multipliers had to be dialed back.
The climate, however, could be harsher. That would still grind the body to its edge.
But pressure on the body must not break the heart.
Usage would be longer than half a day per session—but with at least a full day of recovery between sessions.
Tsunayoshi wasn't about to lump ordinary humans together with those monster Saiyans. Those creatures had the built-in perk of "on the brink of death, get stronger." People did not.
"Mm. That's about right."
Two white doors slowly formed before him.
"Next, I just need to mount these doors in a fixed room."
"Oh—one more thing. I need identity gating for entry."
If an outsider wandered in, he'd have a problem.
Especially if someone outside the Loki Familia slipped through.
Thinking that far, Tsunayoshi erased the two doors.
Anything that isn't up to standard should be scrapped early. There was no reason to increase the risk of exposing his power without necessity.
"I'll use a bit of Loki-sama's blood as the identification marker."
Different familias, different deities, different children—the cleanest discriminator was a god's blood.
The divine blood that inscribes a Falna differs from god to god. That made a deity's blood the ideal key for verifying identity.
Tsunayoshi left his room and headed to Loki's.
Knock, knock, knock.
The door opened—not by Loki, but by Astraea.
Looking past her into the room, he saw Loki seated at a long table with two bottles and a pair of glasses set out.
"Astraea-sama."
"It's you," she said.
Seeing the boy who had rescued her girls, Astraea looked briefly surprised, then her face softened into a smile.
"I never properly thanked you. Thank you for bringing my children back from danger."
Tsunayoshi accepted her gratitude with a nod. "Astraea-sama, I only happened to hear your voice. If I hadn't, I wouldn't have gone deep into the lower floors in the middle of the night—and there would've been no chance to bring them home."
He wasn't wrong. He had been the rescuer, yes—but the one who paid the price was Astraea herself.
She had surrendered her autonomy to become a subordinate god, and her familia had merged into Loki's banner.
In truth, once Astraea became Loki's vassal, the Astraea Familia effectively withdrew from the stage of Orario. Those were no small concessions.
Stepping into Loki's room, he found Loki watching him with bright curiosity.
"Tsuna, what brings you to me today?"
"It's about the reinforcement plan," he said, getting straight to the point. "The training spaces are ready."
"One is a live-combat training zone that targets individual weaknesses. The environment mirrors that 'jungle canyon.'"
"I also mentioned this before: I'm preparing the black goblins we met on this expedition and the Dungeon's sweepers, so Finn and the others can fight them for real."
"The other is for daily conditioning. It focuses purely on raising ability scores. Inside, the survival conditions are harsher, the day-night temperature swing is extreme, and gravity is adjustable—all of it designed to compress the human body to its absolute limit and grind out ability growth."
One for combat. One for daily grind. Tsunayoshi's preparations were more than thorough.
Loki's smile grew, interest lighting her eyes. "Tsuna, take me and Astraea to see them in a bit."
