After returning to the Familia, the first thing Tione did was rush straight to Loki. She needed to confirm what Tsunayoshi had said earlier.
"Ah, that? It's pretty obvious," Loki said with a teasing grin. "Every time you look at Tsunayoshi with those lovesick, bashful eyes, I know you're in heat."
"W-What!? That's way too much!"
The moment Loki used the word "heat," Tione nearly jumped, her entire face turning bright red.
"Oh, come on. You really think I'm exaggerating?" Loki tilted her head, recalling Tione's usual expressions. "Honestly, saying you're in heat isn't that far off."
"You react to him just like you used to react to Finn."
"T-There's still a difference!"
The more Loki pressed, the weaker Tione's voice became. Her denial sounded half-hearted at best.
Loki crossed her arms, feigning deep thought. "Hmm, I guess there is a difference. When you look at Tsunayoshi, it's not as intense as before, but that gentle, affectionate stare of yours? It's even deadlier."
That line shut Tione down completely. Her mind went blank as she made a strangled sound of protest.
"See, a straightforward Amazoness reaction I could explain as instinct," Loki said slyly. "But that dreamy, lovestruck look? That's not instinct anymore—that's pure romance."
Tione could only groan weakly.
Loki smirked to herself. If I told her what really happened between me and Tsunayoshi, she'd probably lose her mind.
Just picturing Tione's reaction—shock, disbelief, confusion, madness—was enough to amuse the goddess. The idea almost tempted her to blurt it out.
No, better not. I'll keep that to myself—for now.
"What!?"
"You mean you basically proposed to Loki—and she accepted!? And because of you, she even decided to let Tiona and Tione off lightly?"
Finn and Gareth both stared at Tsunayoshi in stunned silence, unable to process what they'd just heard.
When their gazes met, they saw the same thought reflected in each other's eyes: utter disbelief.
It wasn't just the fact that Loki had accepted an unintentional "proposal," but that she had done so with no hesitation.
"That Loki would make a decision like that because of you…" Gareth muttered, shaking his head.
He walked up to Tsunayoshi and patted his shoulder with an oddly sympathetic look.
"Well, kid, guess you're stuck with her now."
"Honestly, Loki's not that bad," he added. "She's just a little perverted, obsessed with pretty girls, and, well, not exactly… blessed in the chest department. Aside from that, she's fine."
Finn nodded seriously. "Indeed. Loki's got a greedy nature, but if she's willing to change for you, that already says a lot."
"Yeah, if you've got a goddess like that going all in, don't overthink it—just take her."
Tsunayoshi blinked at the two of them. Why do they talk like Loki's some kind of disaster?
He sighed and tried to clarify, "Finn, Gareth—I don't think Loki-sama's a bad person at all."
"You're serious?"
Both men dropped their joking tone instantly, staring at him intently.
"Yes, why wouldn't I be?" Tsunayoshi asked, puzzled. "I mean, sure, she's… physically not as impressive as some other girls, but other than that, she's great."
That actually made sense. Loki wasn't a bad goddess. In truth, she was one of the more reliable ones—at least when it mattered.
Still, her reputation for chaos and mischief was well-earned.
But then Finn paused mid-thought. Something clicked.
When did Loki start acting more stable?
He realized it was right after Tsunayoshi had joined the Familia.
Before that, Loki was constantly causing trouble. But afterward, she became noticeably calmer—spending a lot more time around Tsunayoshi, and far less time pestering the other women.
It was subtle, but now that he thought about it, even the female members hadn't complained about Loki's antics in a long time.
So that's it… It's not that she lost interest in girls—it's that she's focused all that attention on him.
The realization hit Finn hard. No wonder she accepted that accidental proposal so easily.
"Of course," he thought, it's not like the boy's completely unaware of his own feelings either.
Finn gave Tsunayoshi a faint, knowing smile. He hadn't expected anyone to genuinely consider a goddess as a companion.
After all, gods were eternal—while humans lived mere decades. Such bonds were fated to end in tragedy.
But perhaps… this one was different.
"Maybe he's not like the others," Finn mused quietly.
Having Tsunayoshi around clearly stabilized Loki. That couldn't be a bad thing.
As for Tione and Tiona… Loki had already made her stance clear. There was no point in interfering.
"…Still," Gareth chuckled, "I can't say I'm surprised. Young folks like them—Tione, Tsunayoshi—they're bound to get along."
"Young people will always find each other," Finn agreed with a light chuckle. "And considering how different our species are, I doubt she's thinking about marriage."
Gareth smirked. "Oh? Says the man calling himself young?"
Finn raised an eyebrow. "Between the two of us, I am still young. The real old one is someone else."
"Oh, you've got guts, saying that where Riveria might hear you."
"I'm not worried," Finn replied coolly. "Who here's brave enough to tell her I said she's old?"
"…Hahaha! You've got me there."
Both men burst out laughing.
Because if there was one thing everyone in Loki Familia knew—it was that bringing up Riveria's age in front of her was a one-way ticket to death.
