Chapter Two – The Silkworm, Tianmeng
And then, I spun the wheel once more…
This time, it stopped at the world of One Piece.
A new chest appeared before me.
Inside… the Gura Gura no Mi — the Tremor-Tremor Fruit. Alongside it were several techniques and combat skills, and a card inscribed with the words: All Types of Haki — Beginner Level.
I spun the wheel again…
But this time, it felt completely random.
When it stopped, two chests appeared.
The first chest contained:
•A golden card engraved with: Gate of Realms and Time.
•Ten cards labeled: Plunder — each usable once.
•Ten more cards labeled: Absolute Loyalty — also single-use.
The second chest bore the names of two worlds: Hokuto no Ken and Ben 10.
Inside were two cards:
•One labeled Kenshiro and Rei.
•The other labeled Azmuth — Duration: One Day.
The moment I touched them, they vanished—but I instinctively knew how to use them.
Then, I spun the wheel yet again…
and this time, it landed on the Douluo World.
The chest that appeared held:
•A Spirit Soul Card: Soul Eye.
•A card marked King-Level Trial — Duration: One Hour.
•A collection of techniques and martial arts from the Tang Sect, including the Yin-Yang Fusion Technique and the Spirit Contract Art.
•And finally, five engraved cards labeled Upgrade to One Million Years.
After that, everything began to fade away…
When I opened my eyes again, I was back where I had started.
But there was a surprise—my body was completely healed.
I wasn't sure whether it was due to the Senju bloodline or something else entirely…but that didn't matter anymore.
What mattered now was that it was time to move.
If I stayed here, I would die—without a doubt.
If Shrek Academy ever discovered what I had become, they would hunt me down as their mortal enemy.
It had now become a matter of life and death.
There was no time to waste.
I sent my thoughts toward the Gate of Realms.
Within seconds, space around me rippled and twisted, unfolding like a sea of light—then pulled me inside.
This was no ordinary gate.
It possessed incredible abilities: to travel between parallel worlds,to manipulate time and space, and to cross into any universe I desired.
I commanded it to send me to the timeline before Huo Yuhao obtained the Iceworm.
Without hesitation, I began wandering alone along the outer edges of the Star Dou Forest, waiting patiently for the Ice Silkworm to appear.
By a small stream, two men and a woman were grilling fish over an open fire.
If I wasn't mistaken, those three were Huo Yuhao, Tang Ya, and Bei Bei.
The boy — about eleven or twelve years old — had a balanced build and wore simple gray cloth garments. His short black hair was neatly combed, and his handsome young face shone with determination far beyond his years.
There was no doubt — this was Huo Yuhao.
At that moment, a wave of anger and sorrow surged within me, hot enough to burn behind my eyes.
I knew he hadn't done anything to me yet… but I couldn't suppress the strange, consuming hatred that welled up from somewhere deep inside.
The girl, who appeared around fifteen or sixteen, had long black hair tied back into a ponytail. Her light-blue outfit radiated youth and vitality.
Her wide almond-shaped eyes sparkled with lively energy, her nose was straight, and her oval face nearly flawless.
She was watching the fish grill before her, fascinated — that was Tang Ya.
Beside her stood a young man with gentle features and a calm smile — Bei Bei.
Silently, I hid in the shadows, watching them from afar, with no intention of revealing myself.
It wasn't time for that meeting yet… for the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm was what I had come for.
Suddenly, a surge of immense spiritual energy pierced through my mind, and a deep voice echoed inside me:
"At last… I've met a human. What an incredible spiritual power!
Ah, if only I could cry — I would shed tears!"
My eyes widened in shock.
The voice felt oddly familiar… then I realized — it was Tianmeng, the Ice Silkworm itself!
The instant I understood, the ground beneath my feet began to tremble violently.
Fine cracks appeared just two meters away, widening slowly as faint golden-white light seeped out.
I pressed myself low to the ground, watching cautiously.
The cold seeped into my skin, and the air grew heavier — until even my breath felt like it was freezing.
The fissure spread wider and wider until it reached five meters across.
Then, the light split open — like a heavenly curtain parting to reveal something divine.
A massive, fleshy head emerged, round and more than a meter wide, crawling upward with deliberate slowness, followed by a long body nearly seven meters in length.
Its form was pure white, gleaming like polished ice, and translucent like crystal — with faint golden patterns glowing beneath the surface.
Two small golden eyes shimmered upon its head, alive with consciousness… with life itself.
Half a meter behind the head, ten circular golden rings stretched all the way to the tail — ten complete patterns.
The same voice whispered again, this time softer, almost kind:
"Do not be afraid… I will not harm you."
The colossal silkworm lowered its head toward me, stopping just a meter away.
A wave of pure, cold energy flowed into my chest, and with it came a strange realization…
My true story — had just begun.
The giant silkworm nodded its massive head, and its voice echoed again in his mind:
"Of course… Brother. Are you captivated by my magnificent body?"
Ji Lin's mouth twitched uncontrollably. Why… why was this Ice Silkworm, Tianmeng, so absurdly narcissistic?
"What exactly do you want?" he asked cautiously.
The silkworm's voice rang with pride:
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am the embodiment of heroism and valor, the king of spiritual beasts, blessed with wisdom, beauty, and unrivaled power. I have trained for over a million years, holding the record for the longest lifespan in the Douluo Continent! Hm… you may call me the magnificent and mighty Sister Tianmeng!"
"A… spiritual beast a hundred million years old?" Ji Lin muttered in disbelief, forcing himself to stay polite.
Tianmeng's tone was brimming with pride:
"Surprised? Excited? You should be! You are the first human to witness the true form of this unparalleled greatness."
Ji Lin's gaze hardened. "So… what exactly do you intend to do?"
Suddenly, Tianmeng's voice became majestic, heavy enough to make Ji Lin's heart tighten:
"I shall become… your Soul Ring Sister — the first intelligent soul ring in the history of the Douluo Continent."
The giant Ice Silkworm slowly moved its head, surveying the depths of the Great Star Forest, before returning its gaze to Ji Lin.
"It begins now… don't worry. I'll be gentle… I won't hurt you too much."
