Chapter 68 - Found You

I didn't feel different.

Which may be a problem in the long run.

I was already toeing the line of divinity with all the power ups and blessings, now that I had absorbed actual conceptual domains and shot right through that line, I felt nothing.

I expected maybe flashing lights, thunder and lightning flashing.

Maybe it was because I had gotten used to getting power ups like some Gary Stu MC in a cheap fan fic.

Now there's a scary thought.

Not that I cared.

I'd rather be a Gary Stu than some wimpy protagonist that proclaimed wanting a harem but shying away the second a pretty girl brushed against my shoulder.

Fucking looking at you Titty Dragon.

I walked through Tartarus with my hands in my pockets. Amaterasu at my side, shoes crunching on the red ground.

The army of monsters drawing closer with each step. I could smell them long before I got that close. The Abyss still hated me, but there was no push back anymore. No suddenly appearing monster ambushes.

I felt like Tartarus was watching what I'd do, new found divinity and all.

Hyperion's domains clicking into place, my mind gaining intrinsic knowledge of how to use them.

'Must be a perk of divinity… just knowing how to use your powers instantly. At least I don't have prayers constantly popping up in my head anymore. Having actual domains must help with that.'

Heavenly Light.

Heat.

Power.

Observation and Watchfulness.

Each new power played into my already established skill set.

Out of all of them, Power was probably the one that gave me the most amount of worry. I could feel it, flowing in my veins.

A pool of infinite energy that answered my thoughts. A closed circuit of power feeding power.

I still wasn't going to get a big head over it. Unlimited power just meant I had unlimited energy to do whatever I wanted. Mainly spoil my family and relax without a single want unfulfilled.

The Observation and Watchfulness blended seamlessly with my Six Eyes. I no longer felt the strain on my mind, everything was crystal clear and I could focus on things down to the molecule.

'Must be what the Uchiha's feel when they unlock their pink eye upgrade.'

As I got closer, I tested the new ceiling of my perception. I could feel everything through the air, individual heartbeats, directions monsters were facing, even subtle twitches of fingers.

I could even make out their feelings, if somewhat vaguely. I could sense which ones were terrified, which were fanatical, and which ones didn't really care.

…"that's definitely something new." I hummed.

"You're being awfully calm about this."My moms voice echoed in my head.

I didn't stop walking. "I'm still processing things, give it a minute."

"Divinity is sometimes overwhelming."

"Yeah… I can see that. But mom… you don't usually show up unless you have some world shattering revelation. This feels casual though…"

"You've already crossed the threshold long ago," Izanami replied, "there's no need for ceremony."

"What… no party or some wild announcement of my ascension to godhood?"

"None… you would have ascended in time with or without the domains you have taken from Hyperion, you must have heard the voices of those praying in your name."

"Yeah, those were a bit of a surprise."

"That was just the start, you would have gained much more. With this, you have sped up the process."

"What, I'm still not done ascending?"

"There is one final matter, your queen, and your court."

"That's easy… Mitsuri and the kids."

"That will be your decision to make when the time comes."

"Great… now is there anything else I should know? Cosmic taxes, the divine branch of the IRS?"

My mother chuckled, "Nothing like that my child. Just know that I am proud of you."

"Thanks mom."

"You have also inherited my domain of creation, though as you can probably sense, control cannot be taught and must be explored on your own."

"Creation… what's one more power to my bag of random bullshit powers. Sure why not."

[Scene Break]

The closer I got to the monsters the louder they became. Hissing voices, crude laughter, the scrape of claws on the ground.

I listened closely, trying not to draw attention to myself. Not that they have noticed. Greek monsters weren't the brightest bulbs in the box.

"…the Titan Lord grows stronger."

"…the child of Nemesis has pledged himself—"

"…Camp Half-Blood will burn."

I stopped.

Child of Nemesis.

I remembered who that was from the books. Ethan…

Kid must have taken Luke's place. Kronos was probably wearing the poor demigod as a skin suit.

The Titan Lord of Time was always good at picking out the angry ones. Always found the most overlooked, the ones that felt small and unwanted. In the original story, Luke wasn't really special, he had just been the first choice.

I edged closer, listening to more of the monster's conversations around me.

"…the Earth Mother stirs."

'Hol' the fuck on… Gaea?!'

She wasn't supposed to even be a thing until much later. Why was she stirring now? Did I change stuff that badly that an actual primordial was waking up?

I tilted my head, weighing the possibilities. 'Nah, that's a problem for another day… I'm here to fuck up Kronos.'

Amaterasu giggled, "Sequel bait? Really Baka Master?"

"Hush… I'm about to do some sneaky breeky shit." I responded in my head.

I followed the monsters as they marched forward. I willed myself to blend in, not so much as changing shapes, but letting out more of my malevolent aura seep out so that I'd pass for a monster.

A dracaenae bumped into my arm. She turned and hissed softly while flicking her tongue at me.

"Why hello there hot stuff, didn't see you there."

I smile, easy, lazy and non-threatening. "Get that a lot…"

She got right up next to me in what I was guessing was supposed to be sexy. "Who are you?"

"Hmm? Me? I'm just a bard… you know, playing music… luring unsuspecting victims into my trap."

"Mmm," she grinned, "play me a song?"

"I would," I hummed before gesturing toward doors ahead of us, "but it seems it's my turn."

She pouted, but then grinned. "Damn… my name is Kate, let's meet topside. We can have some fun together."

"I'll… consider it." I muttered noncommittally

I got on the platform and watched as a cyclops pulled a lever and held it in place. The platform began to rise. 'Kate' waved at me and gave me a wink.

"See you soon." She called out.

''Mitsuri would destroy her…" Amaterasu hummed

"Right, let's not mention this to my wife.'' I replied.

Light burst overhead as the platform emerged onto a ruined temple moments later. I felt every cell in my body drink up the light and convert it into more power for my already bottomless pit of energy.

I looked around, the location clicking in my head.

"Epirus, we're in Greece."

"Interesting fast travel method." Amaterasu mused.

The monsters cheered and spilled out into the open air. The last few tendrils of air from Tartarus dissipated as monsters wandered off. Many headed towards the coast. Some just straight up vanished on the spot.

I followed the ones headed to the coast. I could already see an outline on the horizon. A massive ship, its hull encrusted with barnacles and seaweed sat in the distance.

I felt the faint power of the Titan Lord.

"Found you…" I grinned.

[Scene Break]

The closer I got to the shore, the clearer I felt Kronos. Something was definitely shielding him on the ship. With his numerous allies and tricks, it wasn't hard I'd imagine.

The ship was an old warship, a far cry from the yacht it was supposed to be in the original story. I could see monsters manning various stations.

I looked for a subtle way on board, I wanted my entrance to be extra dramatic.

"Why are you like this?" Amaterasu groaned.

"What? Can't a guy have fun?" I replied.

"Whatever, just get it done already."

I couldn't see her, but I could tell she just rolled her eyes at me. Chuckling to myself, I glanced at the ship anchored in the distance.

I could just hit it with a massive fuck you and that general direction beam. But there were also the demigods to consider. Many of them weren't doing this because they were evil, some had probably even been forcibly dragged along by their siblings.

I wasn't a monster, I wasn't just going to kill them all for being associated with Kronos.

I closed my eyes, I could feel some of them on the deck of the ship. Anywhere that light touched, I could see as if I had sonar.

"Fuck this is a broken power." I laughed in my head.

Mentally marking all of them that I could see I raised my hand.

With a pulse of power I activated my domain.

The world crawled to a stand still.

My Domain unfolding even more effortlessly than before. It was as close to stopping time as possible from my perspective.

The monsters all froze, their minds sucked into the void and filled with infinite information. Hundreds of them, stuck, mid blink.

I turned my attention to the ship. Every demigod on board, looking around panicked as things froze around them. My new level of power and control allowing me to have my Domain ignore them.

More demigods stepped out onto the deck, their curiosity getting the better of them. I marked them too, once I was sure I had marked everyone I teleported all of them at once to my side on the shore.

I exhaled, mind already doing the calculation before my arms even came up. Lighting crackled as a swirling purple mass erupted from my hands and shot towards the ship.

The ship didn't explode, not even as a building sized hole was punched straight through it and the sea behind it. Hundreds of monsters instantly erased. Their screams cut off as my Hollow Purple hit them.

"Phew… cleaning house sure is exhausting." I grinned, acting like unleashing a death beam took more out of me than just a speck of energy.

The demigods didn't move.

They weren't restrained, they were just rooted in place from my display of power.

I caught fragments of whispered conversations behind me, making me bite back a laugh.

"…we were supposed to fight him? Faaack…"

"That was instantaneous… what even was that?"

"Oh gods… we picked the wrong side! We're all going to die!"

I dropped my domain, Unlimited Void fading away like dust in the wind. The world snapped back to normal around me. The oceans churned as water crashed back into place, the remaining wreckage of the ship groaned as it started to sink below the waves.

The only thing left in the bits of floating wreck was Kronos.

Or rather… what was left of Ethan Nakamura.

The Titan Lord of Time screamed in rage.

"You—!"

I unhurriedly erected a barrier around the demigods to protect them.

"INSOLENT WHELP!!!" Kronos appeared before me in a flash of time dilation. His scythe screaming through the air.

I sidestepped casually, letting his weapon pass through where my head had just been moments ago.

"Woah, careful there Krono-chan…" I smirked.

His scythe came again, faster, with more force behind it.

I blocked with my palm.

The impact sent a shockwave around me but I didn't even budge from where I was standing.

The demigods watched in silence, mouths open in awe.

"That Kro.."

"Yeah."

"And he blocked it with his bare hand?!"

"Yeah…"

"What the fu—"

I smiled, drawing Amaterasu.

Her blade shimmered red gold in the sunlight. Heat rolled off her in waves and I hadn't even done my Shikai release yet.

"Ohh… he's looking a bit crunchy." Amaterasu hummed in my head.

Kronos snarled and swung again.

This time I met him with my own blade. Divine metal screeched as Amaterasu's edge dug into his weapon. His strikes became faster as he tried to warp time to his advantage.

It didn't matter.

Every time he accelerated time I saw it coming, every feint, every distortion, my eyes laid them bare.

"You're slow." I told him honestly.

He roared and unleashed some sort of temporal wave. Limitless flared around me shielding me and the demigods. Plants crumbled to ash around the perimeter of my barriers.

"Mah… trying to cheat?" I shook my head and slashed Kronos across the chest.

I could see him trying to rewind his time to heal his wound.

Nothing happened.

He shouted in rage again. Then it was Ethan screaming.

The demigod's body was failing.

Cracks spread across his skin, Kronos tried to reverse time on himself again and again.

The Titan Lord felt it.

Panic flickered beneath the rage.

"No!" He snarled. "I will not be—

"Oh… finished already?" I stepped forward, eyes shining with malevolence. "Here… let me help."

I slammed my hand on his chest and hit the demigods body with the strongest RCT pulse mankind has ever seen before.

Ethan gasped as his body fixed itself forcibly. Kronos took control again.

"What did you do!"

I leaned in, grinning.

"I healed you… I was just beginning to have fun. You're not dying just yet."

Kronos broke, he swung wildly, desperation replacing precision. Time warping around him as he tried to disengage.

Then he turned and ran.

"Nah… come on, I was just kidding." I called out.

Kronos tried to teleport away. I blinked in front of him and kicked him in the chest with a flying drop kick.

"I said I was just kidding… come on, let's keep playing." I stood over him.

Kronos glared at me hatefully. "No! This isn't how it ends!"

I looked down at him blankly. "Denial isn't just a river in… you know what, never mind." I raised my sword.

Kronos tried one last move, he vacated Ethan's body and lunged at me. His glowing golden form shooting towards me trying to snatch my body.

I grinned. "Gotcha bitch."

His eyes widened.

Too late.

I swung.
