Humans Dream of the Sky, Yearning for Wings
Within Rabbit Palace lie two forges.
One is the pristine workshop where master smith Bilac, Pepper's frequent ally, plies his trade. The other, tucked beneath the palace, is a compact, battle-worn forge, steeped in history—Weissash's domain, the Vorpal Bunny leader Pepper calls Teacher.
"Hey, Old Man, Pepper, Aitoil! Rare to see you here," Bilac says, sweeping the floor with a broom and dustpan.
"Thanks for keeping it clean, Bilac," Weissash replies.
"Tch! If you cleaned properly, I wouldn't have to!" Bilac snaps, ears twitching with delight despite his gruff words. Adorable, in its own way.
"Bilac," Weissash continues, "bring the Radiant series—minus the greaves—and the Rising Volks Gear mechanism. We're forging the three elements into their original form."
Bilac's eyes gleam. "Got it! Be right back!" He dashes off at breakneck speed. Weissash places the Apex Star Core Big Bang Piece on the anvil, arranging tools from a nearby rack.
"Pepper," he says, "long ago, a human dreamed of the azure skies. I'm entrusting that dream's continuation to you."
"Yes, Teacher!" Pepper replies, steeling himself.
Bilac returns with the Radiant series and the Rising Volks Gear. Weissash shrugs off his coat, baring his right shoulder and arm like a samurai in an old drama revealing a tattoo. He embeds the Apex Star Core into the Radiant Arsenal's chest, fine-tuning connections. With meticulous care, he integrates the Rising Volks Gear into the Radiant series—save for the Solraia greaves.
His eyes burn with a smith's unwavering purpose.
"Incredible…" Pepper whispers.
Weissash's skill transcends mastery, touching the divine. It's as if he knows the Radiant series, or the series itself guides him. Bilac and Aitoil watch in awe as Weissash works, steady and unyielding, fulfilling his craft.
Finally, he steps back. "Done."
Displayed on an armor stand, the Radiant series gleams. White and sky-blue hues dominate, accented by golden thunderbolt motifs. It resembles an old sci-fi power suit, with a dragon-like tail extending from the Radiant Orsarg's back.
"This is the Radiant series' true form?" Pepper asks.
"Close," Weissash replies. "Equip it all, add Solraia over Clarion, and say, 'Wake up.'"
Weissash has revived the ancient answer to soaring the azure skies. Pepper bows deeply, unequips his current gear, and dons the Radiant series piece by piece.
Touching the Apex Star Core in his chest, he speaks: "Radiant series… no, in full gear, your true name awakens. Let's do this, Radiant Dragonius, Golden Dragon King Ascendant—Wake up!"
The core roars, flooding the room with blue light. Crystal barriers deploy from the Arsenal's shoulder guards and Orsarg's side armor. The tail-like unit transforms into a true dragon's tail. The Radiant Helmate glows, its full-face visor activating, sprouting three crystalline horns, morphing Pepper's face into a draconic visage.
White wing-like modules unfold, and from the Arsenal's back, six golden energy wings—three per side—deploy, pulsing with immense power. Most astonishingly, the Radiant Solraia, drained from the Twin Emperors' battle, chimes, "Energy full charge!" The core's divine energy resolves Solraia's charge issue instantly.
"This is insane," Pepper mutters. "No, seriously, insane. Medieval to futuristic time warp—insane."
Vocabulary? Dead.
"Haha!" Weissash laughs. "Fits you like a glove, Pepper. You're the spitting image of him."
Bilac and Aitoil bring a mirror. Despite differences—three horns, dragon face, coloring—the resemblance to Siegverum is uncanny.
"How's the durability…?" Pepper opens his status, then freezes.
