I stood in the front door as I saw light shining out of the window.
Before I reached my hand outward to touch the handle.
And opened it.
"Lukas! Your finally home! Sorry for not coming today because I cooked something special today." Said Sabine.
Something special you say?
Well based on the fact that you were busy with cooking which could point to her going to the market to buy something.
Most likely some kind of meat thanks to the smell.
A smell that was savory and appealing.
Maybe even warm and aromatic.
"Is it chicken?" I asked her.
"Huh!? How did you know?" She said.
"I'm pretty smart actually." Whilst I tapped my head with a finger.
"Oh really now? How about the time you skipped homework and even class sometimes so you could go out with your friends?" She said.
Well looks who's talking right now.
She exhaled.
"How about you change your clothes and eat some? Make sure to leave some leftovers because your sister will be eating them too."
I nodded and headed upstairs to my bedroom.
I changed my clothes before heading down again.
When I did, Sabine already placed down the plate and utensils on the table.
I quickly sat on the chair and waited as she prepared the dish.
BANG!
Suddenly I heard something slam behind me.
When I looked behind me, I saw Laura drenched in sweat.
"Lukas!" She yelled.
Laura quickly ran up to me, spreading her arms.
Before she hugged me tightly.
The sheer pressure of her crushing me felt like my eyes was about to pop out of their socket.
My ribs and lungs compressed, I couldn't able to breath.
"I've missed you so much! Do you know how worried I was?" She said as she tightened her grip on me.
HOLY CRAB! STOP IT!
My mouth swelled up with saliva that I couldn't stop but leak out in bubbles.
"Have you noticed how much I've gotten stronger?" She said.
"I'm feeling it...I'M FEELING IT NOW!" I yelled in desperation.
She let go of me as I slumped over.
"I've also bought some desserts on the way too."
Before she pulled out a small box and opened it to reveal custard tarts.
"Tarts? Aren't they expensive?" I said.
"They were at a affordable price honestly, even for my salary. Where did you get that idea from?" She replied.
I took one tart and put it into my mouth.
It tasted like a combination of sweets, creamy custard with a crisp pastry.
"Mmm! That's pretty good, mom should try this." I said.
"I'm ok, you two should be the one who enjoys it, not me." Sabine replied.
All for myself to indulge then!
I quickly grabbed another and then another and then another.
I kept on picking every single one and shoving to myself.
A fly soon landed on one of the tarts. Preparing itself for delight.
Before it noticed the tart it was on got picked up but reacted quickly flew away.
The fly float in the air as it saw me consuming these tarts like a monster.
"Oh? So you have chosen death." The fly said.
But the only thing I could hear was the buzzing.
"So you're ignoring me huh? Challenging my authority. Well...I accept!" The fly yelled and flew straight at the last piece of tart.
I saw the fly coming towards the last tart.
So I just moved my hand to shoo away, hitting the fly and fell down the ground.
"AAHHH!" The fly screamed as it fell, barely able to pick itself up before it landed on the floor.
But the fly survived and as it looked up, it saw my about to take a large bite out of it.
"No...I won't accept this DEFEAT!" The fly yelled.
But the only thing it yelled was just the buzzing really.
The fly jumped up the ground and dashed towards the last piece.
Trying its best to reach that last piece, reaching its hands out.
But it was too slow.
Before I finally took a bite.
"NOOOOOOO!!!" The fly let out a single tear drop from its eye if it even has a lacrimal gland.
It gave up and landed on the floor again in defeat.
It cried out as it saw me chewing.
"I...will get my revenge. YOU HEAR ME.

As I finished eating, I saw a fly on the ground that kept on buzzing.
That was so annoying.
I lifted my legs and stepped on it.
"You haven't even left a single crumb for me." Laura watched in astonishment.
"Come on kids! Dinner is ready." Said Laura as she finally put down a plate of chicken.
My eyes flashed in stars as I saw the chicken.
I quickly went back to my seat and grabbed a fork.
Sabine took a piece off and puts it down on my plate.
I stabbed the piece with my fork before I ate it.
