Hmm… I know some world-famous trainers, but those are only 0,5% of trainers in one region. In order to determine the best training tips from each region, I need to analyze more than just the top 0,5%. I would end up with tunnel vision and copy a training method that might only work for 0,5% of umamusumes.
If anyone I know would have the data I need to fix this problem, it would be the Head of the JRA.
The young man casually presses a contact number on his phone as if he were phoning a friend. When most would go through his assistant first, this young man has the balls to straight-up call the Head of the JRA on his personal phone.
*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
Goddesses damn it…
Is he in the middle of a meeting or something?
The young man mindlessly walks down an empty hallway, as most students are studying in their classes right now.
Well, most but one.
*Click*
"Oh my, Good morning, Golden Tyrant."
"Trainer Igo Heita… What are you doing here?"
"That's my line, isn't it? I'm a trainer, which basically means that I'm free, but you're a student. Don't you have a class to attend?"
"I can do whatever I want.
For someone who is free, you're pretty bad at training your trainee."
"Oh! That's the closest thing to damage since the first time we met, Orfevre."
An insult to one's pride might work on most arrogant pricks, but the young man is different. He is an arrogant prick, but he is also aware of his shortcomings. He can laugh at his own shortcomings, which is why Orfevre's insult just slides off of him.
"Are you grumpy because you're one race away from losing your privilege of using the Halo's Rule, Orfevre?"
"Tch! Shut the fuck up!!"
In the Autumn Tenno Sho, Orfevre was present as a runner, but the one who won was Gentildonna. Her win rate now is precisely 80% of her total races. One more loss, and she would need to find herself a trainer.
"Let me guess, you're going to try to mend your win rate by joining lower-graded races. It's a pretty convenient loophole considering the Halo's rule doesn't care about what kind of win rate it is."
"I don't need you to spell it out for me! I'm not some idiot who is oblivious to loopholes."
"Alright~~ I'm just trying to help here."
Halo's Rule allows an umamusume to run without a trainer as long as their win rate is 80%. This 80% win rate doesn't discriminate based on what kind of race it is. A runner could be running exclusively in open-grade races, but as long as her win rate is 80% or above, she can run without a trainer.
This loophole has been taken advantage of by several umamusumes in history before and has become the main point against the implementation of the Halo's Rule.
"Well, don't let me get in your merry way, my Lovely Tyrant." The young man slyly moved to the side to give the Tyrant an open path to wherever she was going.
"I don't know what you're planning, but it wouldn't work. Not everything will go the way you want it.
If that Mejiro brat's attempt at the Triple Crown didn't teach you that, then I will."
"Ooh~~ Ouch~~ You really know how to hurt me, don't you?
If I were a masochist, I would've fallen for you."
The Tyrant didn't bother to answer the young man's retort and continued her journey.
Damn… My stock must be plummeting right now.
"Is it done?"
"Hmm? Ah!! Sorry for putting you on hold, Mister Fujita."
"There's no need to act sly, Mister Heita. We both know what your true intention is. I would love it if you would stop pretending with me.
We are one of a kind, after all."
"Hahahaha~~~ Now that's done, it's time for the second reason why I'm calling you."

*DDDIIIIIIIINNNNNGGGGG* *DDDDDDDOOOOOONNNGGGG*
"MMMMMhhhhhhhhhh!!! NNNNYYYYAAAAAWWWWNNNNNN~~~!!!! Mmhh… Lunchtime, huh…"
The young man stretched like a cat in his chair after researching on his computer for the entire morning. He was looking up the trainers that Cigame Fujita recommended to him for his overseas trip to Europe and America.
As expected of the Head of the JRA, these trainers are top-notch. I would get a sense of what overseas trainers are like if I got a good grasp of all of these trainers.
But that's the problem, isn't it… I need to get a good grasp of them. Can I really make sense of them in a short amount of time?
The young man shakes his head to get rid of the useless thoughts. It's not supposed to be a question–it's a command. He has to get a good grasp of them in a short amount of time.
Sigh… Whatever, I'll do my best
But would it still be enough to compete against that monstrous skill Rice Shower has?
The young man remembers the shock when Rice Shower activated that skill. The skill's name is [Azrael-Triple Requiem], and it certainly was not a skill the young man had seen in his previous life. He can understand why Cygames doesn't want to implement that in the game, though.
A skill that can only be activated if you're running in a race with the Crown Prince or the Tiara Princess. It gives a flat addition to every stat of a runner depending on how many crowns or tiaras a runner has. One adds 200 points to each stat, and two add 500 points to each stat.
"What a disgusting skill…"
Since there are five stats, one crown would add cumulatively 1000 points, while two crowns add 2500 points.
Any player would understand just how broken that skill is.
In one turn, you can gain at most 200 points in one stat, and you would need to build your entire support deck around that one stat while being in a specific scenario. It would take you 17 turns of pure luck just to match the cumulative points the two-crown buff gave to Rice Shower.
17 TURNS OF PURE LUCK!!!!
Rice Shower has become an absolute existence that guards the throne. For as long as she is running, Triple Crown and Triple Tiara will never be born again. She is the extreme heat who will cause the greatest drought of champions in history.
Luckily, the young man is the only one who has [Truth Seeing Eyes] as he is a particularly strong-willed individual. Most people would have a breakdown on the spot if they saw just how broken that skill is.
Goddesses damn it… Teio still has a chance to become a Triple Crown, but that chance is only 1%. It would take a freaking miracle for her to win!!
But if I gave up, then I might as well start sucking those three Goddesses' pussies.
To give up against this miracle would mean that any of my efforts could never win against those bitches!!
Like hell am I going to allow that!!!
To win against the miracle is to triumph over the Three Goddesses!!!
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*'
"Hmm? Come in!"
*Sssshhhhrrrrkkkkk*
"McQueen? Do you need something?"
*Sssshhhhrrrrkkkkk* *Lock*
"McQueen?"
