Chapter 10 - Testing Fate, Again

It's been a little over two months since my evolution, since that crazy day when I turned from a wyvern into a dragon.

In that time, I've finally completed all my template assimilations.

I've also gotten used to my new skills, well, most of them anyway. Actually, I've even gained a few more. They're mostly common-level stuff, but still, progress is progress. And honestly, I have Ryu Han-Bin to thank for that.

To speed up the Assimilation, I'd been practising his stances and mimicking his fighting style day after day. Thanks to that, I managed to pick up new basic combat skills like [Stab] and [Slash]. They slightly increase the striking and piercing power when I attack.

I don't remember those being mentioned in his story, but then again, not everything gets shown there. Besides, if I remember correctly the earlier form before evolving physical resistance was Pierce Resistance. It makes sense that some physical combat skills exist.

"Screech! Screech!"

Looking up, I saw the Eagle King returning from his hunt, carrying today's lunch in his talons, a giant crab.

He's come a long way since we first met. Especially after I gave him the quirk [Fierce Wings]. I wasn't planning on using it myself anyway, and I was curious to see how it would affect him.

And just as I expected, the results were incredible. He can control his wings freely now, in two different ways no less. Not only did the quirk physically alter his body, but his constant use of it eventually awakened it as a proper Skill too.

After giving him the quirk, I used Thought Communication to show him how hawks use their wings. Bit by bit, he learned to replicate those movements.

[Points: 30]

Alright, time for another spin. Let's hope it's better than last month's haul which was quite disturbing since it included.

Stewie Griffin's Dirty Diaper (Family Guy)

I got seven cards of the same thing. You know, sometimes I wonder if this system is really random or if some higher-dimensional troll is deliberately messing with me.

If the latter's true, then congratulations, you succeeded.

"Ugh..." Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit again.

At least the other three items weren't completely useless:

Black Blade (I Parry Everything)

A Plate of Egg Fried Rice (Food Wars)

Uchiha Tsunade's Regular Clothes (Naruto)

Yeah. That last one almost sent me into cardiac arrest.

The description literally said: "Clothes of a Uchiha who was once a Senju."

Excuse me?

So she married into the Uchiha clan? Was this from some alternate timeline or worse, someone's Infinite Tsukuyomi fantasy?

Maybe it's from a fanfiction world, since only there would something like that actually happen.

Heh, I can just imagine Tobirama seeing her in that outfit.

He'd stab her husband on the spot just to make sure he wasn't trapped in a genjutsu.

Hahahahah!

Still, I can't complain too much. At least now I have something to wear.

Although, to be honest, despite my rather massive bust, I still can't compete with Tsunade-hime's legendary 106.

...Why do I suddenly feel kind of sad about that?

Was that my inner female speaking up?

Nope. No way. Delete that thought.

I'm a man. There's no doubt about it.

So what if I don't have my manhood anymore?

So what if my thighs are thicker than my old face?

So what if my chest is large enough that people will probably notice it before my face?

I'm still a man. Pure man. No question.

Thud. I struck the black sword against the ground.

It was sturdier than I expected. According to the description, it could withstand both skills and magic, and true to its claim, it had survived my flames without a single scratch.

I used Appraisal to check the material, but as expected, the result was "Cannot Determine."

Not surprising, considering it came from another world.

Maybe that world is far more dangerous than the anime ever showed.

The last item from the previous spin was pretty unique too.

I got to experience something new because of it, input and output working together.

According to Appraisal, there was no unique energy within the food, yet its effect was clearly visible.

I was eating white rice from above... and releasing white liquid from below.

Honestly, I really want to know who came up with that stuff. But the description was annoyingly vague, "A Chef's Progress."

Anyway, let's see what I get this time.

As my points vanished like before, new cards appeared before me.

Konoha Anbu Mask ×18 (Naruto)

Jennifer Walters' Dildo Collection (Marvel)

Pleiades Sisters (Overlord)

10,000 Gold Dragons (Game of Thrones)

Summon card x3

Tou She Ancient God's Jade (BTTH)

Fruit of Evolution (Shinka no Mi)

Heart of the Ocean (Titanic)

Phoenix Tears (High School DxD)

Goofy Cap (Mickey Mouse)

I think the best card this time is the one with the battle maids.

Though, tch, it doesn't include everyone. Only the lower maids, Sebas and Aureole are missing.

Still, not a bad deal.

It makes me wonder though, if those two were summoned into this world, would they retain their original race? Or would the Voice of the World provide a substitute form for them?

Heh, just imagining it makes me grin, a Dragonoid and an immortal human serving as my subordinates.

Dragonoid, huh, that's quite a special race here. Offspring of a True Dragon and a High Human, unlike dragonnewts, who are born from dragons and normal humans.

Milim is the only example of that species.

I wonder, could I become one too?

I already possess the Dragon Factor, and if I can get a Human template from the Gacha, then theoretically I would change into a Dragonnewt in the future. Or maybe not. Since the Dragon Factor is dominant, and the Gacha seems to "hear" my thoughts, it hasn't changed my race yet, it still shows Dragon.

Oh, as I thought about changing it to Dragonoid, the race actually changed on my status screen. Let's test more, Dragonkin, Dragonborn, True Dragon, all work fine. Let's try others, Human, failed. Vampire, failed. Same with Elf.

Though Demi-human worked.

Looks like the race name is restricted based on my existing factors.

Anyway, back to the items.

Phoenix Tears, hmm. I never really liked Rias all that much. As a man of culture, I can't deny her assets, but reading all those fan theories about how every one of her peerage members had some tragic past and how she conveniently met and "saved" them, yeah, it changed my perspective.

Sure, it was probably her siscon brother pulling strings behind the scenes, and anyone in her position would've done the same, but it still left a bitter taste somehow.

The same thing happened with Tang San and Tang Hao. Though in their case, I just felt more disappointed than anything.

Fanfictions really do change how you see stories sometimes...
