At the outer fields of the Alchemist Tower
There stood a dome like area with two massive eyes on either sides
The dome was purple,maroon and yellow in color
The roof was constantly rotating
Kogetsu and Milin walk into the building where a massive arena is seen
Zenta God of time was floating at its center with his hands behind his back
Zenta was looking at the ceiling with a cold smile
His eyes were glowing yellow
Zenta turn his head to meet meet eyes with the staring Kogetsu
Zenta's smile widened as he appears in front of Kogetsu
"Kogetsu was i using an ability or raw speed just now"
Kogetsu stares at him for a moment
"Raw speed"
"Correct but also wrong"
"Please do enlightenment me then"
Zenta appears back at his original position
"It was both"
"The reailty is i used Time essence to not increase my speed but optimize it"
Kogetsu stares at him in silence
Zenta continues
"I actually used time essence to set a predetermined motion to where my body should move and act"
"So what you're implying that everything you do is predetermined?"
Kogetsu questions
Zenta floats around him
"Correct"
Kogetsu stares at the elegant Zenta calmly floating around
"Which would mean your accounted for every action everyone would do?"
Zenta stays silent for a moment
"Correct but let me ask you this have you heard of the Time paradox"
Kogetsu nods
"Yes it's a paradox of two people where one person states his accounted for everything the other is going to do and will die in five minutes"
Kogetsu puases for a moment
"Now that the other person knows his going to die in five minutes,his left with the dilemma of what he should do"
Zenta then asks
"And why's that the case?"
Kogetsu continues
"It's because if the person has already accounted everything the other is going to do it means whatever action they were going to take can't be trusted neither can the action they decided to do"
"Simply because what if the person knew they'd change the action to what they thought of but also accounted for all tge new ones they planned to try"
Milin cuts in
"Which would mean they also accounted for if the other decides to attack"
"And do you know tge person dies after the five minutes?"
Zenta asks with an expectant look
The two nod
"In the end the person decides to kill himself because they'd ne no option of survival in the end"
Kogetsu finishes
"Wait if thats the paradox why doesn't the person just not kill himself"
Zenta finally touches the ground landing infront of her
"Here's the thing killing yourself is the only viable option because you would know if how you were going to die was swift or miserable"
Milin shrugs
"So why did you even bring it up?"
Zenta raises a finger
"Simple it's the foundation of how true time operates"
"Constant,inevitable and never ending"
"Simply because you can destroy time doesn't mean it doesn't exist in another form"
"Which is why even if you were to destroy time it wouldn't actually do much because they'll always be a form of it present"
Zenta appears hovering in front of him childishly petting his head
"Exactly this a paradox that acts as starting point for time application"
"The very concept of time is beyond destruction because it's law even when law is nonexistent"
Zenta then appears with a flower pot with a wither rose
"Uses time essence or any medium you use on it"
"I want you to restore it"
"Uhh okay"
The symbol of a clock appears on the withered rose before it was fully restored
But seconds later it died again
Kogetsu's eyes narrow with surprise
"Let me guess I can't just reverse it's entirety"
Zenta nods
Kogetsu sighs before his eyes glistened yellow
'Picture it's anatomy and–'
Before Kogetsu could finish his thought he felt killing intent as he sees Zenta narrow hand about pierce his head
Kogetsu ducks when Zenta landed a devastating back heel kick on his head
Smashing his body into the ground
Zenta throws the rose pot into the air as it freezes
"Kogetsu here's how you will pass my class"
"For the next three days I will put a time Formation that slows down time in this dome by 1 million folds"
Zentas eyes glow
"I am giving you one million years to dodge one attack and restore the plant"
Zenta smiles coldly
"But you'll also need to uses time magic specially to keep the pot in the air while trying to restore it with time essence and while im attacking you"
"You'll be Time grand expert by the end of this"
Kogetsu gets up
"Let me ask is it even possible for me to win?"
"Of it definitely is but you'll only be using your time based skills so it'll take a while to say the least"
Kogetsu suddenly felt a shift in his body
He touches his chest
"You stopped my other abilities?"
"Yes i did"
Kogetsu stares at Zenta with a complex expression
He felt admiration,fear,excitement but also anger
'Zenta is control over Tine is so precise he stopped the very process in the astral body that manages all the techniques"
Kogetsu takes a deep breath
"Alright I'm ready"
Kogetsu dashes at Zenta the rose pot is unfrozen but Kogetsus body is then coated in yellow light
The pot was immediately reversed back to its original position
'It will only last for about a minute so that should be–"
Kogetsu is then abruptly kicked into the air by Zenta's axe kick before he could even process what was going on Zenta was already above him
Immediately Zenta planted both his feet on his chest sending him crashing into the ground
Dust clouds the dome with Kogetsu panting
"Damn are you using time magic to siphon my energy as well?"
Zenta's eyes glow yellow in the dust cloud
"Well yes actually"
'Damn the task itself isn't really difficult but with the constant pressure Zenta applies and the need to track the pots timer'
'Not to mention i need to worry about energy control and fixing my body'
The area around Kogetsu is enveloped in yellow energy when Kogetsu was suddenly slammed into the ground
"How the hell did he increase the gravity density"
He said aloud
Zenta knowing tilts his head
"Oh i didn't increase i just selected an area and sped it up"
Kogetsu begins forcing himself up
"Meaning this is the gravity the future"
"But how–"
Zenta flashes in front of him
"You think to much"
Zenta readies a punch
Kogetsu sides when Zenta suddenly twist his body landing kick to the side of Kogetsu head launching him across the dome
Kogetsu plants his feet into the ground
"And im supposed to believe all this predetermined?"
'Waht a load of crap"
Kogetsu glances at the pot when it unfroze
Kogetsu glares at it when The pot reversed freezing again
'This is hell'
Kogetsu cursed internally
Zenta appeared next to him then said
"Actually i changed my mind you'll be training for the next 3 million years"
