Noticing the large sections of Xiao Jian's clothes that had been burned pitch black, worry instantly filled her expression.

"Heh, do you think fire could really hurt me? I'm fine."

Though a burning pain spread across his back, Xiao Jian grinned as he spoke.

"Hmph!"

Qinglian pouted lightly and cast a displeased glare toward the Fire Spirit Snake.

Sensing the chill in her gaze, the snake immediately lowered its heads, letting out pitiful whimpering sounds.

"Why don't you just go die?"

Qinglian spoke in a gentle tone, yet her words made the massive snake tremble violently.

Its four enormous eyes were filled with an intense desire to live.

Clearly, it had no intention of dying.

"Alright, enough. I'm really fine. How are you feeling?"

Xiao Jian sighed helplessly and gently rubbed Qinglian's head.

"I'm fine, Young Master. I'm just a little tired. I'll be alright after resting for a while."

Qinglian shook her head, leaning comfortably against him as she spoke with a faint smile.

She then turned toward the Fire Spirit Snake, her expression instantly growing cold.

"The Young Master is kind and won't hold this against you. Why are you still standing there stupidly? Do you really want to die?"

Twin-headed Fire Spirit Snake: "???"

Suddenly, the green light on the snake's forehead flared brightly. Its massive body rapidly shrank, transforming into a streak of green light that shot straight into Qinglian's sleeve.

"Behave yourself," Qinglian said softly as she patted her sleeve.

"Otherwise, I'll make you kill yourself."

"Hiss…"

A faint hiss followed, carrying a trace of grievance and dissatisfaction.

Xiao Jian released Qinglian and casually pulled out a white cloak from his storage ring, draping it over himself.

The clothes on his back were ruined beyond repair, and there were indeed burn marks on his body—but such injuries were nothing to him.

After waiting a short while, splashing sounds echoed from the magma lake.

Xiao Jian looked over and saw Xiao Yan's figure slowly emerge, wrapped entirely in white flames.

"How did it go?" Xiao Jian asked with a smile as he stepped forward.

"Sigh… just as Third Brother predicted. The Green Lotus Core Flame has already been taken by Queen Medusa."

Xiao Yan shook his head with a bitter smile, gazing at the vast magma world before letting out a soft sigh.

Turning back, he took out a seven-colored snake scale from his storage ring and handed it to Xiao Jian.

"A seven-colored snake scale… so it really was her."

Xiao Jian sighed as well, studying the scale.

Xiao Yan nodded lightly. "Now that we've completely confirmed the Heavenly Flame's whereabouts, I plan to head straight into the depths of the Tagore Desert. If there's a chance… I want to take it back from Queen Medusa."

Xiao Jian nodded in agreement.

"Her evolution will be extremely dangerous. There will definitely be opportunities to exploit. I'll go with you.

I also need to gather medicinal ingredients for Elder Hai. That Sand Mandala should be deep within the desert as well."

"Alright. Let's head back up first."

Xiao Yan wasn't surprised. From the beginning, his third brother had already been prepared for this outcome.

Moreover, the infamous Queen Medusa.....renowned for both beauty and cruelty.....was undeniably intriguing.

When the trio successfully returned to the surface, Xiao Ding and Xiao Li were clearly growing impatient.

Seeing them emerge safely, both men finally breathed a sigh of relief and hurried over.

"Did you find the Heavenly Flame?"

"No. Queen Medusa got there first."

"So we're planning to head into the depths of the desert and see if we can take it back," Xiao Jian added calmly.

"Into the desert depths? Stealing from Queen Medusa?"

Xiao Ding and Xiao Li stared at their two younger brothers in disbelief.

Did these two little brats even know how to write the word 'death'?

"Don't worry, Big Brother. I'm just trying my luck. Even if I fail, I'm confident I can escape."

"And besides," Xiao Jian added with a meaningful smile,

"I might even have reinforcements this time."

"You two… sigh."

Xiao Ding frowned for a long time before finally shaking his head helplessly.

That night, Xiao Jian returned to his room with a heavy scent of alcohol clinging to him.

Since they were leaving the next day, Xiao Ding and Xiao Li had forced both brothers to drink heavily.

As expected, the two of them ended up passed out under the table once again.
