Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: The Unlucky Fu Hua

The battle between the visitor and Kevin drew the attention of the other memories.

"So that's this era's strongest, huh? I wonder how long she can last against Kevin. This might be fun to watch."

Though only a memory, Kevin was still one of the most formidable beings in the Elysian Realm.

"I'm a little curious—how old is Durandal this year?"

Rita thought for a moment. "Lady Durandal's age... just turned twenty."

That was her real age. Rita was one of the few who actually knew it.

"What a monster," muttered Pardofelis, unimpressed. "Not even twenty, and already that strong…"

"Out there in the real world, I've met this girl before."

A small Bodhi leaf floated above Su's palm—taken from Durandal herself. His expression softened with faint surprise.

What an exceptional young woman.

Boom!

Durandal didn't bother testing him. Her fist collided directly with Kevin's, and the data-constructed ground beneath them shattered, scattering into glowing streams of fragmented code.

That one exchange alone left them evenly matched. Both stepped back.

Kevin smiled approvingly. With a gesture, countless black ice shards burst forth. Durandal swiftly dodged through them, the sheer pressure of his power shaking the field.

Shocking Force!

The Radiant Knight: Luna Kindred ignited her thrusters. Durandal's speed skyrocketed, and her next punch distorted space itself.

Kevin was forced to take her seriously.

Crack!

His dark ice shield exploded into fine dust. Kevin was blown backward, eyes filled with admiration.

There was nothing to criticize—she was a battle-hardened warrior of the highest class.

"She's a monster…" Kiana's jaw dropped.

Durandal had barely made a few moves, yet even Kiana's own Herrscher of the Void within her had fallen silent.

Who exactly was she? Even at her proudest, Kiana knew she'd need full six-core synchronization to win against someone like that.

Suddenly, a freezing storm erupted from Kevin's body, forming three dark stars above him.

"Stop! Kevin! That's enough!" Elysia called urgently.

She noticed the Realm's data starting to destabilize—the load on Klein's system was skyrocketing.

If they kept fighting, Klein's CPU might literally burn out.

Kevin paused, dispersing the dark ice. His gaze softened.

"You're impressive, Durandal. When there's time, let's spar again."

Durandal nodded, though a trace of regret lingered. She hadn't gone all out.

"Su-senpai?"

As the fight ended, Durandal turned toward Su.

"You know each other?" Kevin asked, puzzled.

"Hehe, Miss Durandal has met my true self before," Su explained with a faint smile.

"Thanks to Su-senpai, the world bubble inside me has remained stable," Durandal said gratefully. Before meeting Su, she couldn't even use her power properly—it might have collapsed her bubble entirely.

"World bubble?"

The little snake, Mobius, observed her with interest. "What a perfect test subject."

"After saving that world bubble, Durandal received a gift—the ability to use its power," Koji explained calmly.

Durandal and Rita were both surprised. Few knew such a thing.

That time truly was unforgettable.

Mobius sighed. "Who else but a crazy little girl would go through that?"

She didn't believe in mysticism, yet now she felt tempted to ask Durandal for advice.

"What are you looking at?" Kiana frowned. The pink-haired woman was staring at her.

"Not coming out?" Elysia asked, eyes glimmering with hidden meaning.

Kiana froze for a moment—then realized who Elysia was addressing.

"Fu Hua, right?"

Fu Hua's form appeared. She shook her head slightly. Most of her memories from the Previous Era were gone; remembering Kevin and Su was already remarkable.

"Such a tragedy," Mobius commented. "That's an old acquaintance, after all."

Koji added with a sigh, "Fu Hua's luck is just awful—betrayed by her own students, shot by Otto… her life's a series of misfortunes."

"Ha! Seven traitors daring to strike their own teacher! If it were me, I'd have cut them down without hesitation. They deserved it."

"Maybe it's good they all died early," someone muttered. "Otherwise, Fu Hua wouldn't have survived that betrayal."

Fu Hua frowned slightly. "Is that so…?"

Though she couldn't recall, something about it felt painfully familiar.

What a miserable life… she gave a weary smile.

"Class monitor…" Kiana whispered. She hadn't imagined her mentor's past would be this tragic.

"Would you like me to share the memories with you?" Koji offered.

Fu Hua nodded. "Please do. I want to know who I used to be."

"By the way," Mobius interjected, "your body should still be in Otto's hands, right?"

Fu Hua nodded. "Yes. It was probably recovered by him. My consciousness was transferred through Dust of Taixu, but my body is still beyond my control."

"Hmm, a blessing in disguise," Mobius said. "At least you're free from divine resonance interference."

She wasn't particularly interested in Fu Hua, though she did find these visitors fascinating.

Rita was quietly surprised. "So Lady Fu Hua truly is the Crimson-Plume Immortal…"

Koji chuckled. "Unlucky as ever, but still standing strong."
