Chapter 113 - Chapter 113: Stormterror Cries

Stormterror was feeling exceptionally irritated. He had initially believed that, with his power, tearing these ants apart would be effortless.

However, he hadn't expected the glass bubbles on these individuals to be so troublesome. With one strike, he could do nothing but shatter those annoying glass bubbles.

And these glass bubbles always reappeared on these little green people in time, making him incredibly frustrated.

Fortunately, most of these people couldn't cause him any DMG. The only ones he needed to watch out for were Cyrus, who occasionally poked him in the eye, and Katheryne, who flew in the Sky.

And the little one on the ground with the large bow. Her own strength was less than a tenth of his, but the large bow on her back always gave him an invisible pressure.

"Swish, swish, swish!" Three large arrows shot over. Stormterror, who had been paying attention, tilted his neck and dodged Fischl's long-prepared attack.

Although the Left Bow Technique was powerful, it required a long preparation time. It could be used to catch someone off guard the first time, but its effectiveness would diminish afterward.

Looking at Fischl, who was slumped on the ground in the distance, Stormterror opened his mouth and a wind projectile flew out.

"Boom!" The fierce winds raged, and the ground where Fischl was standing was instantly torn into a giant pit by the blade-like gales.

However, as the strong winds dissipated, Fischl's body appeared before Stormterror. Her body had numerous wounds torn by the howling wind blades, but they healed visibly quickly, as if nothing had happened.

The brilliant potion nebula in the air once again found its target. They gathered on Fischl's body, and a slightly yellowish, transparent protective shield reappeared.

Seeing this scene, Stormterror almost spat out a mouthful of old blood. Every time, every single time, it was like this!

These guys seemed to be immortal, and once he tried to tear their bodies apart, a huge resistance appeared, preventing him from completing his intention.

Just as Stormterror was about to attack again, a strange sensation—a highly frequent, scorching heat—came from his hind leg.

Stormterror turned his head and saw a white-haired boy frantically hacking at his hind leg. Although his body twitched strangely, the pain from each strike on his body was undeniable.

"Cancel, cancel, cancel…" Bennett muttered to himself. He had now mastered the trick of the Ring of Straightness.

Not only that, he had also found a new approach, holding his original Sword in his left hand and the Ring of Straightness in his right. He hacked away incredibly fast—and his left-hand Sword even had a fire enchantment.

Not only was Stormterror surprised by Bennett, but even his companions almost had their eyes pop out.

To everyone, Bennett's body was now like a bent spring, vibrating at an extremely high frequency.

Could a human really perform such movements?

Seeing this scene, Stormterror couldn't help but widen his pale blue dragon eyes. In all his long life, he had never seen such a peculiar human.

But the pain in his hind leg quickly pulled his attention back. If he didn't deal with that strange guy soon, he might actually shatter his scales.

"Roar!" Stormterror violently unleashed the Anemo element power within his body, and howling gales blew around him.

"Hah! Watch me cancel my hitstun recovery!" Bennett shouted excitedly as he felt himself being blown away by the strong winds.

Then he went from being inverted to standing upright. Looking at himself holding the Ring of Straightness, ready to strike, Bennett felt he must look very cool right now.

But why was he still in the air after canceling the recovery? It was completely useless!

After enjoying a brief moment of peace, Stormterror's surroundings became noisy again—the Adventurers who had been blown away had returned.

He had endured enough; he would endure no more!

Seeing these guys charge again, Stormterror felt he should give them a taste of his power. He had to let them know that the disparity in strength could not be compensated for by numbers!

"Boom, boom, boom!" The already scarred earth cracked open again. The Anemo element power, deeply hidden within the earth and flowing with the Ley Lines, erupted!

The dark earth cracks began to emit a bluish-white light. Incredibly dense element power began to corrode the earth, and blue-green dust constantly rose from the ground—that was the product of the earth being decomposed by the Anemo element power.

"Crack, crack, crack!" With this move, the glass bubbles of everyone present immediately shattered. A massive amount of element power instantly surged into their bodies.

Life force and element power began to battle within everyone's bodies. Many of those present fell to their knees, crying out in pain.

Only a few experienced veterans, rich in Adventure experience, could barely remain standing.

And their condition continued to worsen. In the clash between life force and element power, the life force gradually fell into a disadvantage.

Blue-green dust began to appear on everyone's bodies, and correspondingly, their skin began to gradually disappear under the corrosion of the element power.

However, Katheryne was an exception. At this moment, her hands were on the ground, and a massive shield generator on her back was operating at its full capacity.

Katheryne was also equipped with Apep, the Dragon of Everlasting Calamity's element absorption device. When the surrounding Anemo element concentration became abnormal, she activated this device.

After increasing her Anemo element resistance, she immediately activated the shield generator, continuously absorbing the Anemo element into her body, and then further reorganizing it into a shield to release.

This was not all. Katheryne still had some strength left. Several steel cables shot from her waist, pulling all her companions, who were lying on the ground in the distance, into the shield's range.

But that was all she could do. Protecting everyone's safety under Stormterror's full attack was already incredibly strenuous for her; it was impossible to try and do anything else.

Stormterror and Katheryne were locked in a struggle. The former mobilized more Ley Line element power, wanting to engulf Katheryne and her companions; the latter desperately operated her engine to resist the corrosion of the element.

They were in a stalemate, and from the current situation, Stormterror clearly had the upper hand. If there were no other changes, Katheryne probably wouldn't be able to hold on for much longer.

But how could that be? A purple light wave swept from afar, and the element power in the air instantly became as inert as the exterior of a Hypostasis.

Both Katheryne's shield and the Ley Line element power pulled by Stormterror returned to their original positions.

This situation was undoubtedly more advantageous for the Adventurers' Guild. Not to mention that not many of them could use a Vision in the first place, without element power, just the buffs on their bodies alone would be enough to give Stormterror a tough time.

These buffs would not disappear with the Silence Decree; it only prohibited casting spells, not purifying like the Principle of Reversion.

Stormterror watched as those guys on the ground quickly returned to normal under the nourishment of various buffs, while he himself couldn't even spit out a single wind projectile.

The unspoken silence lasted for a long time.

"Wah!" Dvalin suddenly started rolling on the ground, venting the long-accumulated resentment in his heart without reservation.

He had clearly given his all to protect Mondstadt five hundred years ago. To prevent Durin, that foolish guy's black blood from corroding Mondstadt, he even drank that guy's blood.

Did they know how awful that guy's blood tasted?

He himself had been poisoned and slept for five hundred years. He also had nightmares for five hundred years, a full five hundred years!

Even if he was a dragon, he couldn't endure such abuse, could he?

Now that he was awake, Mondstadt didn't even recognize him? It simply infuriated him.

Not only that, they even came to fight him! Dvalin looked at the Adventurers in the distance and "accidentally" rolled towards their position.

Hopefully, he could crush a few of them.

However, Dvalin soon found that he couldn't roll anymore because Yu Jin stood in his way.

"Huh? Why are you crying?" Yu Jin looked at the black and red tears on the ground, wondering if he had gone too far.

Dvalin looked at Yu Jin, who was squatting on the ground, stirring his tears. He knew that all the ridiculous things that had just happened were caused by this guy.

"Don't bother me, I'll just roll away!" Dvalin quickly gave in, flapping his recovered wings, and flew into the Sky without looking back.

Yu Jin, facing the strong wind, scratched his head.

"Uh… is this an apology?"
