Within the Domain of Stormterror's Lair, Dvalin was still tirelessly flipping through the giant pages of a book.
Although the illustrations in the book were static, in Dvalin's eyes, this was a rare and endlessly enjoyable pastime.
The page Dvalin was looking at paused, depicting scenes of giant dragons breathing dragonfire.
Just as Lanssangx had said, the dragonfire included fire, ice, poison... but most of it was flames.
Dvalin looked at the gushing flame dragonfire on the page, a hint of longing in his eyes.
Lanssangx had mentioned that in their world, all dragons could breathe dragonfire to some extent.
Ancient Dragons, needless to say, possessed it, and the various forms of breath from Wyverns were actually compromises made by Wyverns to adapt to their environment.
The different colored dragonfire they exhaled was, in fact, originally dragonfire.
"Hoo!" Dvalin exhaled a wisp of azure Wind Dragon breath. The tiny whirlwind seemed to possess endless power, swirling and howling as it drifted into the distance.
Dvalin looked at the tornado he had exhaled, and an idea suddenly popped into his mind—a brilliant idea that could allow him to breathe fire.
"Roar!" The more Dvalin thought about it, the more excited he became. He eagerly flapped his wings and soared into the Sky. After many days, Dvalin once again flew out of Stormterror's Lair.
"Hehehe, see? The Abyss's corrosion isn't that easy to resist." The Pyro Abyss Mage looked at Dvalin flying away from Stormterror's Lair in the distance and let out a sharp, piercing cackle.
Was he finally unable to resist the corrosion of the Abyss? Did he want to go out and destroy Mondstadt? How could they be absent!
When it came to destruction, Abyss Mages were professionals! Since Dvalin couldn't bring himself to ask them to accompany him, they would just take the loss and forgive Dvalin!
"Follow Stormterror! How can we be left out of the destruction!" The Pyro Abyss Mage shouted to his companions behind him, then teleported to chase after Dvalin.
The other Abyss Mages also followed the Pyro Abyss Mage, teleporting, but only the Cryo Abyss Mage, who was lagging behind, had some doubts in his heart.
"Was Stormterror looking very happy just now?" The Cryo Abyss Mage muttered a few words softly. He had smelled a lightness in the wind just now that he had never noticed before.
Then he shook his head, thinking he must have been overthinking it. As the Pyro Abyss Mage said, the corrosion of the Abyss was not that easy to get rid of.
Perhaps Dvalin was truly overwhelmed by the corrosion of the poisoned blood and was just going out to vent... Dvalin, high in the Sky, looked down at the familiar yet strange scenery below, filled with many emotions.
For five hundred years, this seemed to be the first time he had carefully admired the scenery of Mondstadt. After he awoke, his eyes were clouded by resentment, preventing him from seeing any scenery clearly.
Now, looking closely with a calm mind, Mondstadt had become much more unfamiliar. On the newly opened roads, groups of two and three pedestrians could be seen walking.
Different people, different roads, but one thing was the same—the pedestrians on the road, without exception, panicked when they saw a giant dragon flying in the Sky.
However, Dvalin had also changed. In the past, he might have felt sad and distressed by people's fear—of course, he was still a little uncomfortable now.
But now that he had met other dragons, he no longer cared to meet you humans! Dvalin raised his head and flew higher into the Sky.
Mountains, plains, plateaus... countless sights flashed beneath Dvalin. Finally, after flying over a winery, Dvalin slowly descended.
If he remembered correctly, many flame flowers should grow here. flame flowers generally grow where Ley Lines converge or are blocked. Only such places can allow flame flowers to absorb enough Pyro element, thereby allowing them to transform to a higher level.
However, the flame flowers growing near Dawn Winery now clearly had no chance of growing to a higher level.
Because Dvalin had his eyes on them. Dvalin slowly approached the flame flowers, his giant dragon head forming a stark contrast with the tiny flame flowers.
"Ha... ha..., Wind... What is Stormterror doing?" In the distant bushes, four Abyss Mages watched Dvalin's actions, whispering weakly.
Dvalin hadn't done anything the whole way, making them wonder if he was just on an outing.
It was also fortunate that Dvalin's flying speed was like that of an outing, otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to keep up even if they tried their hardest.
Now that he had finally stopped, he was staring intently at a flame flower. This made the Abyss Mages even more confused.
The flame flower on the ground seemed to sense something, its pistil shaking more violently, and intense flames gushed out from within.
But unfortunately, the flame flower's flames could not cause any DMG to Dvalin. The flames striking Dvalin's dragon scales were like sparks hitting an iron block, merely a flash, with no further effect.
Seeing this, Dvalin no longer hesitated. He opened his mouth and bit into the flame flower, holding its pistil in his mouth.
A faint heat rose in Dvalin's mouth. Even when bitten, the Pyro element power in the flame flower's pistil did not dissipate. It continued to emit heat outwards.
[That's it!] Dvalin's heart pounded with excitement. Now, he should be able to breathe dragonfire!
"Boom!" The Wind Dragon breath passed through the flame flower's pistil, and the Anemo element and the Pyro element in the pistil underwent a Swirl reaction.
The azure dragonfire instantly turned crimson, and the wind, carrying intense heat, swept through, burning everything in Dvalin's sight to ashes.
"Hahaha, well done, Stormterror!" The Pyro Abyss Mage couldn't help but get excited when he saw Dvalin breathing fire.
He truly hadn't misjudged the dragon; Dvalin had actually come up with such a brilliant method! Swirling wind into fire, this was much more destructive than pure wind.
"Hmm?" Dvalin noticed something amiss, turned his head, and a wind bullet flew out, shredding the bushes where the Abyss Mages were hiding.
"Ha... haha, hello, Stormterror." Facing Dvalin's menacing gaze, the Abyss Mages revealed awkward smiles and slowly walked over.
"Hoo—" Dvalin watched the Abyss Mages slowly approach him, letting out a heavy breath.
"Why are you here? I warn you, if I see you causing any destruction, our previous agreement will be null and void."
Dvalin's dragon eyes fixed on the Abyss Mages below, speaking as if in warning.
These guys, why are they like Hilichurls, appearing everywhere.
"What did you say? Weren't you just causing destruction?!" The Pyro Abyss Mage reacted most intensely when he heard Dvalin's words.
He pointed to the large scorched area in front of Dvalin, looking very agitated.
What? Only you, Stormterror, are allowed to breathe fire, but we Abyss Mages are not allowed to cause destruction?
"Uh..." Dvalin looked at the land in front of him that had been burned by his dragonfire. Nothing could be seen there now, only ashes remained.
"How can I be like you? I'm experimenting with my new ability!" Dvalin's eyes darted, catching sight of Dawn Winery in the distance, then continued:
"See that winery over there? I'm making fertilizer for them! Can you do that?" As if he thought his explanation was very reasonable, Dvalin straightened his back and raised his head higher.
"You're..." The Pyro Abyss Mage was about to say "bullshit" when a strong gust of wind suddenly picked up—Dvalin had flown into the Sky.
"Goodbye, someone's coming. With your cunning, you should be able to escape." Dvalin's warning came from high in the Sky, and then the giant dragon disappeared.
Just as the Abyss Mages were being disoriented by the strong wind Dvalin had stirred up, a figure quickly rushed over from the distant winery.
Diluc looked at everything before him with vigilance. Stormterror had just landed near the winery. Both for emotional and logical reasons, he had to come and investigate.
However, the scene before him made Diluc somewhat unsure. Large areas of the wilderness had turned to dust and smoke, and the standing fruit trees had become charcoal.
This didn't look like the destruction Stormterror could cause; he was a Wind Dragon, not a fire dragon. There were only a few individuals in Diluc's impression who could ignite such a large-scale fire.
Who could it be then? Diluc's eyes swept around and he saw the still dazed Abyss Mages not far away.
[Did the things they created have a power so great that even they didn't anticipate it?] Diluc had his answer when he saw the Abyss Mages.
These guys, no wonder he hadn't found any news about them these past few days. It turned out they were tinkering with such powerful weapons.
"This is the end, you non-human fiends!" Diluc charged forward with his greatsword in hand.
"Brothers, stop him!" The Abyss Mages suddenly snapped back to their senses, then immediately began to flee!
