Chapter 172 - Chapter 172: Group Brawl

"Robbery! Hand over all your valuables!" Yu Jin was the first to leap out, snarling at Enjou.

His movements were practiced, his words smooth, all in one breath, as if he had done it countless times before.

In fact, it wasn't far off; Yu Jin had lost count of how many times he had committed robbery, though each time he was ambushed first, then turned the tables and robbed them back.

Leyndell and Anor Londo were once prime locations for unruly commoners.

Yu Jin's actions drew everyone's attention, especially Paimon's. She widened her eyes and covered her small mouth, the faint trace of a popped snot bubble still visible on her nose, seemingly shocked by Yu Jin's practiced moves.

A long, wordless silence followed. Enjou hadn't expected anyone to rob him, and Diluc and the others had no experience robbing anyone else.

"Human! Die!" Enjou looked down at the group surrounding him, all of whom were at least a head shorter than him, and raised the abyss chapter held at his chest with both hands.

The abyss chapter glowed crimson as element converged, and waves of dangerous aura began to emanate from the floating book, causing fine beads of sweat to form on everyone's foreheads.

"Step back!" Diluc roared, his Claymore instantly appearing from his Vision.

He charged towards the power-gathering Enjou, his flaming Claymore raised, without a backward glance.

"Human, feel the scorching truth!" Enjou saw Diluc charging at him, his face showing no panic.

He had absolute confidence in his power!

"Boom!" The roar of flames erupted as the long-accumulated element burst forth from the abyss chapter. A surging wall of fire expanded with Enjou at its center, incinerating everything in its path.

Under this powerful element, the green grass instantly turned to ash, and the earth and stones beneath began to Melt into magma due to the high temperature.

"Flames — Burn!" Seeing the fire wall approaching with such ferocity, Diluc directly activated his bright Vision, unleashing a soaring, winged bird woven from flames from his burning Claymore.

Accompanied by a high-pitched cry, the fire bird's outstretched wings grew larger and larger, and the flames surging around its body became even more intense.

"Bang!" After leaving a path of gray-black, the fire bird and the wall of flames summoned by Enjou collided.

Two equally matched elemental forces wrestled with each other, ultimately perishing in a muffled explosion.

However, Diluc was not a novice like Bennett or Fischl. He was already proficient in the use of his Vision, and his body had become extremely resilient through countless trials.

So, after unleashing his elemental burst, Diluc didn't even catch his breath before swiftly charging towards Enjou in front of him.

"Die!" Diluc leaped high, then delivered a powerful downward slash. The flames on his Claymore trailed a long fiery tongue, striking Enjou.

"Thump!" The Claymore, known for its weight, unleashed immense power in Diluc's hands. Enjou was directly staggered by Diluc's blow, nearly falling.

As an Abyss Monster of the element, Enjou should have extremely high resistance to the element.

And indeed, it was so. What harmed Enjou was not the flames on the Claymore, but the immense power beneath the flames!

Enjou's crimson robe was torn by the previous blow, and black, viscous "blood" — if that substance could truly be called blood — flowed from the wound beneath.

Enjou paid no mind to the wound on his body; it was just a minor injury that would heal on its own if ignored. The spiked halo behind him began to flicker, and he muttered:

"Blazing Maxim!"

Diluc suddenly felt the ground beneath him tremble, and a sensation of hairs standing on end instantly swept through his body. It was his instinct, accumulated from years of combat, an instinct for danger.

Almost simultaneously, Diluc's body moved. He rolled and leaped away from his original position.

Then, a bright flash of fire illuminated Diluc's still-airborne face — a thick pillar of lava erupted from beneath the earth.

"Pah!" Diluc stood up, spitting out a scorching, thick phlegm. But when he prepared to continue fighting, he saw that Enjou had already leaped far away.

The moment he engaged Diluc, Enjou understood that close-quarters combat with Diluc was a thankless task, so he decisively chose to create distance.

Soon, the two groups faced each other. On one side were Yu Jin and his companions, and on the other were Enjou and its allies.

Yu Jin patted the scorched marks on his body. As the person closest to Enjou, he had felt the power of that fire wall firsthand.

It could only be said that it was somewhat useful, but not much. Aside from sending Yu Jin flying, the fire wall left no other marks on him.

Even the black marks on his body were just ash from plants that he picked up when he landed.

Also a fire wall, Enjou's power was far inferior to Kutri's. Yu Jin estimated that if Kutri used this move on the continent, Wolvendom would probably cease to exist.

"Humans, how did you know I would come here!" Enjou narrowed his eyes. Everything that had just happened was as if this group of people had specifically come to ambush him.

Could it be that humans had some special way of detecting The Order's intelligence? Thinking this, a hint of ruthlessness appeared in Enjou's narrow eyes. It seemed these humans could not be allowed to live.

Upon hearing Enjou's words, everyone remained silent. Even if they still had doubts about where Yu Jin's information came from, in the current situation, it was clearly better to keep that secret.

At the very least, they couldn't let the Abyss Monster of the Abyss Order know that their intelligence had been leaked.

Thinking this, everyone's gazes towards the opposite side also became fierce.

Paimon and Enjou involuntarily shivered. Why was it so cold just now? Did they catch a cold while sleeping last night?

However, there was an obvious exception among the group, and that exception was Paimon. She slapped her forehead, belatedly saying to Yu Jin, "Oh right, why did you know that this big guy was coming, Yu Jin?"

"Paimon!" Lumine heard Paimon's words and immediately pulled her down. She had actually forgotten about Paimon just now; how careless of her.

"Ah? Did... did I say something wrong?" Paimon saw everyone's gazes focused on her, and a surge of fear and guilt instantly welled up in her heart.

Her big eyes quickly became misty, and she said with a slight sob, "I'm... I'm sorry, I... I won't talk too much anymore!"

Enjou heard Paimon's words and burst into laughter. He looked at Yu Jin and said, "So it was you who got The Order's intelligence? Not bad, not bad. In that case, take your cleverness and die!"

Enjou didn't even ask how Yu Jin got the intelligence before directly launching an attack. Fireballs the size of washbasins appeared behind Enjou.

With a flick of his hand, the fireballs behind him charged towards the crowd with immense power.

Perhaps in his impression, humans had no other way besides using a bit of cleverness to deduce The Order's intelligence.

"It's not certain who will kill whom!" Yu Jin shouted, directly meeting the fireballs flying from behind Enjou. His fists danced, and the fireballs in the air were all shattered.

Then he waved his hand, saying to the people behind him, "Charge! Let these monsters know the might of Mondstadt!"

Suddenly, the once peaceful hill became lively.

Jean and Diluc cooperated with unexpected skill. Together, they actually forced Enjou to retreat step by step.

Meanwhile, Lumine and Paimon actively sought out Enjou and the other four. Amidst Enjou's exclamations and Paimon's shouts, the battle was also raging.

Venti was providing background music for this exciting battle. As for Yu Jin? He was just watching from the side.
