Chapter 303 - Chapter 303: Breaking the Seal

"Wow! It's going to rain. Anyone with clothes out, hurry and bring them in." From atop the Jade Chamber, Yu Jin looked at the gradually darkening sky and said to Xiao, who stood beside him with a solemn expression.

"Senior, please don't joke," Xiao looked at Yu Jin, who was sitting on the edge of the Jade Chamber, his legs still swinging, and added, "Besides, I don't have any clothes to bring in."

"Coincidentally, neither do I." Yu Jin turned to look at the tightly shut main hall door of the Jade Chamber. As soon as he arrived, Ningguang had thrown him out of the main hall.

It meant he didn't even get a chance to chat with those Liyue Adepti.

He was very curious about talking cranes and deer.

"When will those guys finish their discussion? How long has it been?" Yu Jin got up from the ground and asked Xiao, who was beside him.

According to Xiao, as soon as the Adepti arrived in Liyue, Ningguang had them brought to the Jade Chamber. Then began an endless series of negotiations and probing.

Xiao felt redundant in this situation, so he left the Jade Chamber directly.

"Soon. Even if they haven't finished talking, they should come out once they feel these changes," Xiao came to the edge of the Jade Chamber, looking at the turbulent sea below, and said in a heavy tone.

The color of the sea had become brighter, a vivid deep blue. This color was unusual, stained by elemental power.

Yu Jin also followed Xiao's gaze towards the churning sea and grinned. Gods were indeed not simple; even though Osial had lost most of its power, the elemental energy it leaked in its agitation was beyond the reach of ordinary people.

"I didn't expect the Fatui's trump card to be awakening the slumbering Vortex God. Their methods are ruthless, and their audacity is immense."

Ningguang's voice appeared behind Yu Jin, her tone suppressing anger. Although she had long suspected and prepared, she hadn't expected the Fatui to actually dare to do such a thing!

Looking at the waves below, which surpassed any in her memory, Ningguang's once confident heart began to pound again.

That was a God, Lord Rex Lapis's enemy from over two thousand years ago. Could they defeat it now, relying only on themselves?

However, Ningguang glanced at the Adepti behind her, and then at Liyue in the storm, and cast aside the last trace of hesitation in her heart.

Whether it was the Adepti's trial or the Tianquan's responsibility, she had a duty to step forward.

"Buzz—"

Just as Ningguang was contemplating countermeasures, a buzzing sound came from a corner of the Jade Chamber.

With a flash of light, Lumine and Paimon's figures appeared on the Jade Chamber.

Also accompanying them were fully armed Millelith.

"It seems leaving a teleportation array back then was indeed a wise decision," Ningguang looked at Lumine and Paimon, who were very conspicuous among the crowd, and said with admiration.

"Phew... I'm so tired from traveling," Paimon wiped the sweat from his forehead and said exhaustedly.

First, he chased Childe, who had turned into a water ball, and then he chased the rapidly flying Jade Chamber, which really wore out Paimon's small body.

"Do you have a solution?" Lumine looked at the agitated sea below him and asked urgently.

"Not yet. For now, we're just trying to keep the battlefield confined to the sea as much as possible. A God's power could easily destroy Liyue."

Ningguang shook his head, controlling the Jade Chamber to fly towards the depths of the sea.

"I observe that the Qixing seem to be interested in the Guizhong Ballista. Coincidentally, I am the creator of the Guizhong Ballista."

"With some time, and the Adeptal energy of a few of us, we should be able to drive the God back into the sea," a blue and white crane suddenly said.

"Is that so? That would be excellent. Thank you, Cloud Retainer," Ningguang's heart immediately rejoiced upon hearing this.

"Open!" His fingers danced rapidly, and intricate magic arrays appeared before him. Ningguang pointed a hand, and a streak of light flashed.

A light blue transparent barrier immediately appeared around the Jade Chamber. On the barrier, three brand new Guizhong Ballistae stood silently, perfectly aligning with the three Adepti with the strongest Adeptal energy present.

The three beast-shaped Adepti, seeing this, each went to a Guizhong Ballista and began to channel their Adeptal energy.

"Senior, do you have any countermeasures? I do not ask for Senior to act proactively, but only hope that in our defeat, Senior can protect Liyue Harbor."

Xiao, holding his spear, came to Yu Jin's side, a rare look of pleading on his face.

He wasn't sure what the situation with the Lord Rex Lapis was now. In such an urgent situation, he still had no information whatsoever.

So Xiao could only implore Yu Jin. From what he had seen, Yu Jin's strength should be at an extremely terrifying level.

As for solving the unsealed God by themselves, Xiao thought the possibility was very small.

There was a world of difference between a God and a non-God! Cloud Retainer spoke with great confidence, but Xiao knew that was just his personality.

Even at this critical juncture, he still acted tough. Don't forget, there was still the word 'possibly' in Cloud Retainer's words.

And this 'possibly,' in Xiao's view, had an extremely small probability.

"Well... it seems you've picked the wrong opponent," Yu Jin scratched his head, then continued, "Osial isn't the enemy. Your enemy is someone else."

..."Sizzle..., Bang!"

Morgott lifted the iron lump in front of him, and with a stab of his Cursed Sword, he pierced through it.

The Ruin Guard's penetrated core sizzled, then directly exploded in Morgott's hand.

Wiping the black smoke from his hand, Morgott looked at the steel factory in front of him, frowning slightly.

He had come here following the guy who had fought at the Golden Tree before.

But as soon as Morgott entered this hidden steel factory, he found that he had lost track of his target.

Clearly, that guy was very familiar with this place and had some level of authority. Along the way, iron puppets and various mechanisms constantly blocked him.

Looking at the tightly shut steel door in front of him, Morgott had lost his patience. Initially, he would look for mechanisms to open the door, but ever since he realized there were too many such obstructions... "Thump!"

Morgott conjured a golden giant hammer in his hand. He swung his arm violently, and the steel-forged door was instantly torn open with a huge gap.

Looking at the large hole that was just big enough for him to enter, Morgott walked straight in.

"#@$..."

Familiar mechanical sounds came. Morgott looked around, and in the small open space, several standby Ruin Guards stood.

Golden light gathered in his hand. Morgott barely lifted his eyelids a few times, waving his arm. Golden daggers shot out, accurately piercing into the cores of the Ruin Guards.

Then came a series of explosions.

"Come out. Hide-and-seek is boring. Besides, my malice towards you isn't as great as you imagine," Morgott looked up at a spot on the second floor and said lightly.

"Oh? That's truly a relief," Balladeer walked out from a hidden door, looking down at Morgott below.

"Then why are you following me?"

"Just curious about your trump card," Morgott leaned on his staff, his expression unchanged, showing no embarrassment whatsoever.

He had OCD and couldn't tolerate things he couldn't deduce. Of course, Yu Jin was an exception.

Balladeer said nothing upon hearing this. He raised his head and spread his hands, as if feeling something.

"Hmm... you'll know soon," numerous talismans also appeared on Balladeer's body, more numerous and more powerful than Childe's.

"Boom!"

A gushing yellow pillar of light rose from Balladeer's body. Morgott simply watched his actions calmly.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

The ground began to shake, growing stronger and stronger, even shaking down some dilapidated parts from the ceiling.

"Tsk... troublesome," Morgott turned his head to look into the distance. Unbeknownst to him, the bark-like outer shell of the Cursed Sword in his hand gradually peeled off, revealing its colorful and twisted blade.

"Kid, you're good. To dare to do this, I hope you can survive well next."

Morgott glanced at Balladeer, then leaped out of the underground factory with a big jump.
