Chapter 343 - Chapter 343: Dai Yin's Hidden Abilities

Dain glanced at Yu Jin, then looked away. He was already somewhat used to it. He wouldn't be surprised if Yu Jin pulled out an Abyss Herald on the spot.

"Singer... how did you encounter something like this? This kind of monster is even a bit troublesome for me." Dain had some doubts.

Although an Abyss Lector and an Abyss Herald are monsters of the same rank, they focus on different aspects.

If the Apostles are the warriors of The Order, then the Singers are the schemers hiding in the dark.

Although they also possess formidable strength, they prefer to hide in the shadows and use insidious methods to achieve their goals.

In terms of trickiness, Singers are even more formidable than Apostles!

"Troublesome? Not really." Lumine recalled the two Abyss Lectors, Enjou and Abyss Fire, and felt that they couldn't be described as "troublesome" in any way.

"It seems your strength is deeper than I imagined." Dain nodded when he heard Lumine's words.

As expected of Aether's younger sister, he acknowledged this strength!

"Well... never mind, thanks for the compliment!" Lumine originally wanted to explain Enjou's situation to Dain, but realized it was too much trouble.

Moreover, given Dain's demeanor, he probably wouldn't believe that there could be such a peculiar Singer as Enjou in The Order.

So, it's better to wait until Dain and Enjou meet – if they ever have the chance to meet.

"Since that's the case, it seems the journey ahead will be much easier." Dain stood up from the table, then looked down and said to Lumine:

"Let's go. According to my information, The Order has recently been active in the Temple of the Falcon, so it's a good opportunity to investigate."

However, before Lumine could speak, Charles, who was in the distance, ran over first.

"Six large glasses of Apple Brew, eight Sweet Madame, and four Fisherman's Toast. This bill..."

Dain looked at the empty glasses and stacked plates on the table, and he realized that the difference between him and Paimon was even greater.

They were both travel companions, but he wasn't as big an eater as Paimon.

He reached out to stop Lumine from paying out of her own pocket. Dain took out a crystal clear emerald from the pouch at his waist.

"No need for change. If I come here again, the cost will be deducted from this gem."

With that, Dain walked out of Angel's Share without looking back, leaving only an aura of "rich guy" lingering in the tavern... The Four Winds of Mondstadt are powerful forces that protect Mondstadt. To commemorate them, Mondstadt built four temples outside the city for worship.

However, due to various factors, all four temples have fallen into disrepair and become gathering places for monsters. Among them, the Temple of the Wolf, which belonged to Dvalin, even disappeared directly.

Of course, Dvalin himself wasn't particularly interested in these temples, sacrifices, and such.

The Temple of the Falcon is located between Mondstadt City and Windrise, representing the Knights of Favonius, one of the Four Winds.

Although the Temple of the Falcon is the closest temple to Mondstadt City and commemorates the Knights of Favonius.

But when everyone arrived at the entrance of the Domain, the cracked stones and mottled moss on it all spoke of its vicissitudes.

If the Temple of the Falcon was like this, then the others probably weren't worth looking at.

"This is the temple commemorating the Four Winds?" Yu Jin looked up at the gate, which resembled a large grave mound, and couldn't help but complain.

"Although I was also surprised the first time I came, the Temple of the Falcon is indeed here," Lumine nodded and said.

Her first time was also like Yu Jin's, but at that time, in order to cut off Dvalin's source of power, she didn't care so much.

Now it seemed truly dilapidated.

"The external damage is insignificant. A Domain, the older it is, the more dangerous it becomes. Don't let your guard down because of its dilapidated appearance."

After saying a profound truth, Dain pushed the door open and entered.

The Domains of Teyvat seem to have all been built with the same technology. Many Domains have similar layouts, similar patterns, and similar building materials.

Just by looking inside, it's impossible to tell which Domain it is.

This couldn't help but remind Yu Jin of bad memories – because the graveyards in The Lands Between were similar to Domains.

All the graveyards used the same bricks, the same white candles, and the same style of tomb passages.

Walking inside was almost like playing a maze.

Yu Jin often got lost inside back then. If it weren't for his innate divine strength, he probably wouldn't have been able to get out.

The gray-green stone bricks in the Domain were fitted together seamlessly. If one didn't look closely, they would think it was a single entity, which showed the superb skill of its construction.

Above the stone walls were dense special patterns, which seemed to have some special purpose.

They emitted a faint glow, and combined with the Hilichurls and naturally condensed Slimes in the Domain, for a time, no lighting was needed to see things clearly inside.

This was much better than the graveyards in The Lands Between. The graveyards in The Lands Between were dim, and it was impossible to see the way without lighting a fire. One might even trip over the bones on the ground.

Everyone advanced in the Domain, with only their footsteps breaking the surrounding silence.

This Domain was unusually large, with gray-green stone walls extending and finally disappearing at a certain height.

It seemed that below this temple was a huge pit, and the buildings in the Domain were constructed within such a pit.

Yu Jin looked up at the cave ceiling. It was very high, probably hundreds of meters.

The cave was not only high but also wide. The huge cavern was like a small world underground, and the light seeping in from an unknown source was the origin of light here.

"Some kind of spatial technology?" Yu Jin stroked his chin and speculated. They were moving at a normal speed, and there had been no descent along the way.

The only explanation was that this Domain used spatial technology.

"Hmm, and it's a lost one," Dain turned to Yu Jin and affirmed.

"Hiss, there's a story there." Yu Jin smacked his lips and said with emotion.

"This land always has plenty of stories." Dain turned his head back. Then he pointed in one direction.

"Found it, an Abyss Mage. I just don't know if there are any Abyss Heralds."

Dain walked to a broken section and pointed to an Abyss Mage below who was muttering something to the Hilichurls by a bonfire.

Yu Jin, Lumine, and Paimon also followed, and the four of them just watched the Abyss Mage below in silence for a long time.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Hey! Why aren't you all talking?" Paimon stomped his foot when he saw the silent group.

"I don't know? I thought Senior would make a move!" Lumine spread her hands and explained.

"I'm the same as Lumine, but I'm waiting for Dain to make a move." Yu Jin said, patting Dain's back, signaling him to go down and show off his divine power.

"Crack..."

Crushed stones fell from their feet, and no echo was heard for a long time. Dain looked at the bottomless darkness below. If he fell, no one would be able to find him.

"Bang!"

Dain knocked Yu Jin's iron hand away. If his stance hadn't been stable, he would probably be in freefall right now.

"I rarely make a move, you do it." As he spoke, Dain took a few steps away from Yu Jin.

Because he felt that Yu Jin might just kick him, and if that happened, he would really fly out.

"You rarely make a move, then you should practice more." Yu Jin looked at the eye patch on Dain's face. It was called an eye patch, but it was actually more like a part of Dain's body, only this part was a little different from humans.

"Look at you, tracking The Order, doesn't that require the strength to punch Apostles and kick Singers?"

"Try it, maybe I can even give you some pointers." Yu Jin was actively encouraging Dain.

But Dain remained unmoved, "No, I have my own way of dealing with The Order."

No way he's making a move!

Lumine watched the two of them deferring to each other, couldn't stand it anymore, she shook her head and said:

"I'll do it!"

After saying that, Lumine unfurled her Wind Glider and flew down.
