Chapter 16 - Chapter 15: The Predator and the Creator

My ki surged, my aura blazing like a raging flame. Even without equipping my bio-armor, my power now rivaled Goku and Vegeta in their Grade One Super Saiyan forms.

The fusion with Cell's bio-structure had granted me more than strength — it changed how I existed.

Unlike the Cell from the other timeline, the version I absorbed had no ego, no voice in my head trying to dominate me. His consciousness was blank — a weapon without a will. That meant my mind, my identity, stayed my own.

One more thing I discovered — as long as I had ki, my body could heal instantly. Cuts sealed in moments, broken bones mended as if they never existed. And because Cell's biology provided an unlimited ki reservoir, my stamina no longer wavered.

Unlimited ki didn't mean my power could grow endlessly — it meant I could unleash energy attacks without fear of exhaustion. Infinite endurance… but not infinite clarity. My body could no longer tire, but my mind still could.

Through the monitoring system in the training suits I made, I watched Goku and Vegeta battle in space.

King Cold was already dead — Goku ended him quickly. Vegeta, however, dragged out his fight with Frieza on the moon, savoring every second of his revenge.

Their suits worked perfectly: sealed oxygen, regulated gravity, and reinforced armor capable of surviving a vacuum. For Saiyans, it was the perfect battlefield.

Once I confirmed the system's success, my attention turned to something far darker — Cell from another timeline.

Dr. Gero once used small insect-like drones to collect DNA samples for his creations. I reprogrammed and released millions of them across the planet, searching for one signature — Cell's bio-code.

It didn't take long.

When my sensors pinged his location, I moved before he could react. He noticed my drones and tried to escape, but he wasn't fast enough. Mid-flight, I slammed into him, driving him into the ground. The impact cracked the earth beneath him.

He healed quickly, his regeneration already working overtime. But the pain left him gasping.

I landed in front of him, towering above his twitching form.

He looked up, eyes wide. "Wh–what are you…?"

Without a word, I activated my bio-armor. My body shifted, reshaping — Cell's features merged with mine until I stood nearly eight feet tall, a female reflection of his perfect form.

Cell's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's… impossible."

"If you hadn't killed Trunks from your timeline," I said coldly, "maybe I would've let you live."

I wrapped my hand around his throat, lifting him effortlessly. His feet dangled helplessly in the air as he clawed at my arm.

"Wh-what are you doing!?"

"Correcting a mistake."

My tail extended, striking forward like a serpent. I impaled him through the chest, and before he could scream, I absorbed him whole. His struggles vanished in seconds.

The energy coursed through me like a burning river. I braced myself, expecting only a slight boost — but what I felt instead was overwhelming. My power tripled. Every fiber of my body burned with strength and clarity.

I looked down at my glowing hands, feeling the pulse of divine energy humming in my veins.

"So this is your strength, Cell," I murmured. "And now it's mine."

For a moment, I thought about his timeline — the one where Trunks had fallen, where Goku had died from the heart virus, and Namek still existed. I wished I could travel there and fix what had gone wrong. But the time machine was still damaged, and I had no way to reach it yet.

Still… that didn't mean I couldn't try. I had Cell's data, his biology, and the broken time machine to study. One day, I might be able to cross timelines myself.

But that was for later.

For now, I would celebrate this victory — not out of arrogance, but as a reminder.

I couldn't change the past.

But I could shape the future — both this one, and Trunks's.
