Chapter 127 - 125.Shakthi's First Awakening

The chamber beneath Atlantis was silent.

Twelve pale-white Life Crystals rested in a circular array around a platform carved from black stone. Each crystal emitted a gentle glow, but beneath that serenity slept a force powerful enough to tear apart an unprepared human body.

The walls shimmered with ancient inscriptions that Betal had translated from the submerged ruins.

"Life cannot be forced. It must be guided."

Dilli stood in the center of the formation.

Ever since opening his Muladhara Chakra, his body had changed. His muscles had become denser, his breathing deeper, and every heartbeat resonated with an unfamiliar rhythm. The first awakening had expanded his body's ability to endure Life Energy far beyond an ordinary human.

Across from him stood Shakthi.

She smiled, though her hands trembled.

"I trust you," she whispered.

Dilli looked into her eyes.

"I know."

---

Inside the control room...

Betal projected thousands of energy simulations while VEDA continuously modified them.

"The previous method overloaded Shakthi's nervous system," Betal explained.

VEDA answered calmly.

"Solution identified."

A holographic model of Dilli appeared.

"Allow Dilli to become the primary absorber."

Another model showed energy entering Dilli first.

His awakened Muladhara Chakra acted like a living purifier.

Instead of allowing the Life Crystal's wild energy to strike Shakthi directly, Dilli's body would absorb the violent fluctuations...

...refine them...

...and transmit only stabilized Life Energy into her chakra.

Betal looked toward the chamber.

"This will multiply the strain on Dilli."

VEDA replied,

"Correct."

"There is a seventy-three percent probability of internal tissue damage."

"And yet..."

"...it is the safest path for Shakthi."

---

The chamber doors sealed.

One...

Two...

Three...

All twelve Life Crystals awakened together.

A blinding white radiance engulfed the chamber.

The pressure became unbearable.

The air itself seemed alive.

---

Dilli slowly extended his hand.

"Shakthi."

She placed her hand into his.

Their fingers intertwined.

Warm.

Steady.

Safe.

Dilli smiled.

"No matter what happens..."

"...don't let go."

She smiled back.

"Never."

---

The first wave struck.

BOOM!!

The energy crashed into Dilli like an ocean.

Every vein in his body illuminated.

Bones groaned.

Muscles tightened.

His Muladhara Chakra spun violently beneath his spine.

Blood trickled from the corner of his lips.

Betal shouted from the control room.

"Energy absorption stable!"

VEDA responded,

"Purification process initiated."

The violent white energy entering Dilli slowly transformed.

Its chaotic pulses became calm.

Warm.

Gentle.

Alive.

---

Dilli squeezed Shakthi's hand.

The refined Life Energy flowed from his body...

...through their joined palms...

...into Shakthi.

The moment it entered...

Shakthi screamed.

"AAAHHHH!!"

Her knees nearly buckled.

Every nerve in her body ignited.

It felt as though molten sunlight flowed through her veins.

Tears streamed down her face.

"Dilli..."

"It hurts..."

"So much..."

---

Dilli's own body trembled.

He was enduring twice the burden.

One from absorbing the wild Life Energy...

The other from continuously regulating it.

His heartbeat became erratic.

His vision blurred.

Yet he smiled.

"Then scream."

"I'm here."

"You don't have to endure it alone."

---

Shakthi cried uncontrollably.

"I can't..."

"I can't..."

"I'll break..."

Dilli stepped closer despite his own agony.

Their foreheads touched.

"You once carried my pain."

"Now..."

"...allow me to carry yours."

Her eyes widened.

Even amidst unbearable suffering...

She smiled.

"You idiot..."

"You always make me cry."

---

Hours passed.

The first crystal dimmed.

Then the second.

Then the third.

Each exhausted crystal meant another mountain of energy had passed through Dilli's body.

His skin had begun to crack.

Tiny streams of blood ran down his arms.

Yet his grip never loosened.

---

Betal looked at the monitors.

"Dilli's life signs are dropping."

VEDA remained composed.

"But Shakthi's energy pathways are stabilizing."

"The resonance between them has exceeded all predictions."

---

The seventh crystal dissolved into dust.

Shakthi suddenly gasped.

Something deep within her spine awakened.

A faint crimson light appeared.

Small at first.

Then brighter.

The chamber began vibrating.

VEDA announced,

"Muladhara Chakra activation sequence detected."

Betal's eyes widened.

"She's breaking through!"

---

Inside Shakthi...

Years of fear...

Pain...

Self-doubt...

Every emotional chain shattered.

The crimson lotus slowly unfolded.

One petal...

Then another...

Until all four petals bloomed brilliantly.

BOOOOOOM!!

A pillar of crimson light erupted toward the ceiling.

The entire chamber shook.

---

Shakthi's breathing became calm.

Her tears stopped.

She slowly opened her eyes.

The world looked different.

Every heartbeat of Atlantis echoed around her.

Every Life Crystal glowed like stars.

Her Muladhara Chakra had awakened.

---

But Dilli...

Still held her hand.

The remaining Life Energy continued entering him.

His already awakened Muladhara Chakra rotated faster than ever before.

Beyond it...

A second center near his lower abdomen began to stir.

A faint orange glow emerged.

Barely visible.

Yet unmistakable.

VEDA's voice echoed.

"Energy accumulation has reached the threshold."

"Svadhisthana Chakra boundary attained."

Betal stared in disbelief.

"He reached the second gateway..."

"...without intending to."

---

The twelfth and final crystal shattered into countless sparkling fragments.

Silence returned.

The pressure vanished.

The chamber became still.

---

Shakthi looked at Dilli.

He was standing...

But barely.

His breathing was shallow.

His body trembled violently.

She caught him before he collapsed.

"Dilli!"

He smiled weakly.

"You..."

"...opened it."

She nodded while crying.

"Because of you."

"You idiot..."

"You carried everything yourself."

---

Dilli gently wiped away her tears.

"I promised..."

"...didn't I?"

"No pain reaches you..."

"...without first passing through me."

Shakthi wrapped both arms around him.

She buried her face against his chest.

His heartbeat...

Though exhausted...

Still echoed steadily.

"I don't need power," she whispered through tears.

"I don't need kingdoms."

"I only need you."

Dilli rested his chin upon her head.

"And wherever my path leads..."

"...your hand will always be in mine."

Outside the chamber, Betal and VEDA silently observed.

The experiment had succeeded beyond every calculation.

Twelve Life Crystals had been consumed.

Shakthi had awakened her Muladhara Chakra, standing beside Dilli as an equal on the first step of cultivation.

And Dilli, by choosing to bear another's suffering before his own, had unknowingly reached the threshold of the Svadhisthana Chakra.

It was not brute strength that had advanced him.

It was sacrifice.

It was trust.

And it was the unbreakable bond between two souls who chose, even in unbearable pain, never to let go of each other's hand.
