Lucas clenched his jaws, his eyes bloodshot from anger.
''Don't fucking play with me!'' He whisper-yelled, his calm voice contradicting the expression on his face.
''I'm not!'' Harmonica retorted, taking her legs away from his hands.
''I'm just here because of what your lover said about us on the news. Deal with it!'' She said again, crossing her arms against each other.
''I'll be out of your hair in a minute anyways.'' She whispered, laying fully on the bed.
She reached for the sheets and pulled it over her, the smell of Lucas engulfing her.
She would be lying if she said it wasn't intoxicating.
Her eyes closed, sleep taking her.
Meanwhile, Lucas was still down on his knees, staring at the spot Harmonica's legs once was.
He punched the floor, the pain of the blow a far cry from the pain that he felt in his heart.
His mother was right.
She had indeed been with his brother.
