''What?!!'' Harmonica shouted, stepping back.
Her body started to shake uncontrollably as she burst into tears, shaking her head in disbelief.
''W—What do we do? My son!'' Hot tears slipped down her eyes as she murmured incoherent words, her plight see through her battered expression.
Lucas rushed towards her and pulled her forward, holding her in his arms.
He pressed her head to his chest, his hands caressing her head as he whispered softly. ''I'll never let anything happen to him. I already gave you my word.'' He said, hoping it'll somehow ease her pain.
But Harmonica had no plans of stopping.
She cried in his arms, clutching his clothes tightly as she released all her pain into that cry.
Her phone dinged, making their heads snap towards it.
Harmonica pulled away, grabbing her phone from her pants pocket with shaky hands.
She slowly passed it to Lucas, her eyes clouded with worry as she stared at him.
Lucas took the phone from her and clicked on the message.
