c83 — Golden Frieza
High in the sky at this moment
"Oh? What a surprisingly powerful brat! Fine then, let's begin. My revenge will start with you. I'll finish you off first, and then I'll settle the score with your father. I'm looking for Lin Hao that Saiyan monkey!"
Frieza floated up, dust brushing off his shoulders, and glared coldly at Lin Yi.
"Hmph. Come on then, Golden Refrigerator. If you want revenge so badly, hurry up and try it!" Lin Yi grinned lazily, as if begging to be punched.
Seeing Lin Yi's mocking expression and hearing that humiliating nickname, veins bulged on Frieza's forehead just like when Goku mocked him on Planet Namek. He was clearly enraged.
"Since you're so eager to die, brat, I'll kill you first then your father is next!"
Unable to maintain composure, Frieza exploded with ki and charged straight at Lin Yi.
"Very good."
Lin Yi's playful face shifted to seriousness. He took a battle stance reminiscent of his father's, letting power surge through his body in preparation.
Although Lin Yi didn't know whether he could actually defeat Frieza especially one who had trained for four months to surpass his original final form he wasn't worried. Even if he lost, his father was nearby. There was no way Lin Hao would just watch his son get pummeled.
"Go to hell, you damn Saiyan monkey!"
Frieza's body flickered, instantly appearing before Lin Yi. Without a word, he threw a punch straight for Lin Yi's face the same kind of vicious strike he once used against Vegeta.
Lin Yi panicked for a moment but immediately calmed down. He raised his own fist and countered.
BOOM!
Their fists collided in mid-air.
Frieza's eyes widened. His blow had been stopped easily. He had expected to overwhelm Lin Yi the way he once dominated Goku's friends on Namek.
"Hey, Golden Refrigerator, is that all? Your strength really sucks."
Lin Yi spun around mid-air and kicked Frieza across the face just like a miniature Goku.
"!!"
"Ah-da!"
Lin Yi followed up with a flurry of punches, striking Frieza repeatedly without giving him time to breathe.
Whoosh!
Lin Yi finished the combo by forming two ki blasts in his palms. He slammed them into Frieza's stomach.
BOOM!!
Frieza was sent flying, crashing into the ground hard enough to gouge out a massive crater.
"Oh! He flew away so easily. Looks like this Golden Refrigerator isn't very strong after all! Dad didn't need to fight at all!" Lin Yi announced proudly, hands on his waist.
BOOM!
The ground exploded, and Frieza shot back up into the sky, panting heavily as he stared at Lin Yi.
"Damn it… this kid is actually this strong?" Frieza thought.
He hadn't used full power yet but even his enhanced strength from those intense four months of training after his defeat by Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta… wasn't enough to overwhelm Lin Yi.
"Do I really have to transform into that form?" Frieza gritted his teeth. "Using my full power against a child how humiliating! But if I don't, I can't even keep up with him!"
He had trained obsessively for one purpose: revenge on Goku and Lin Hao. The idea that he might lose before even meeting them was infuriating.
Seeing Frieza frozen mid-thought, Lin Yi shouted, "Hey, Golden Refrigerator! Are you gonna fight or not? If not, get off Earth before I make you!"
Frieza trembled with anger.
"Don't get cocky, you Saiyan brat! I haven't shown all my power yet!"
"Oh? You still have more?" Lin Yi's eyes brightened. "Then hurry up and use it! Otherwise you won't survive my next punch!"
"Hahaha… Such arrogance! Fine then. Since you want to witness my true power, I'll show you!"
Frieza clenched his fists and spread his stance the same motion he used before unveiling his Golden Form against Goku.
"Brat, you'll regret provoking me. This transformation was meant for your father and Son Goku those damned Saiyan pests."
"Then hurry up!" Lin Yi shouted. "If you take too long, you won't get the chance!"
Watching from afar, Lin Hao shook his head. "This kid Lin Yi… I didn't expect he'd learn to taunt enemies like that."
"It's good," Android 18 said with a faint smile. "He's never been beaten before. A little scare is healthy. It'll teach him he's not the strongest in the universe."
Lin Hao shrugged. "True. Everyone grows. Without tasting defeat, he won't know how far he still has to go."

On the battlefield, Frieza began gathering power. Lin Yi had no intention of stopping him he genuinely wanted to test the limits of Frieza's new form.
If he didn't care about that, he would've already finished the fight with his full strength.
"Je-je-je… Prepare yourself, brat. You're about to witness my newest evolution and once I transform, I'll kill you first!"
A dazzling golden light burst from Frieza's body. His aura surged aggressively, clashing with the air around him as his ki rose higher and higher
Leveling up into the terrifying Golden Frieza.
