c85: Instant Kill of Golden Frieza
"It's you, damn Saiyan monkey!"
As the death energy bomb scattered like fractured stardust, Frieza finally saw who had casually kicked away the attack he refined after months of training an attack modeled after the Supernova he used on Namek.
"Hey! Long time no see, Frieza! You looked a little embarrassed just now!"
After sending Lin Yi back to No. 18's side, Lin Hao returned, rising to Frieza's altitude with casual air, just like Goku did when he confronted Frieza on Namek in the manga.
"Damn it!"
Seeing Lin Hao's relaxed and mocking attitude, Frieza grew even angrier.
Enemies meeting always sparked rage, and every time Golden Frieza saw Lin Hao's Saiyan face, he remembered the humiliation similar to how he felt when Trunks severed him in the manga. The trauma of being beaten by Saiyans Goku, Vegeta, and even Trunks burned deeply.
Old hatred and new hatred merged, and if looks could kill, Golden Frieza would have already destroyed Lin Hao as ruthlessly as he blew up Planet Vegeta.

"Lin Hao, after four months of rigorous training something I never needed before I've become someone entirely different. This time, I'll make your suffering worse than death. After I finish with you, I'll deal with Son Goku just like I planned years ago."
"Oh? So confident? Then hurry up. Don't delay, or you really won't get another chance if I act first."
Lin Hao raised his hands impatiently.
Seeing Lin Hao's attitude, the faint calm Frieza forced upon himself shattered instantly.
The moment Lin Hao provoked him, Golden Frieza erupted, releasing that fierce golden aura he first showcased in the manga as he lunged violently.
"Not bad, it's fast," Lin Hao admitted, watching Golden Frieza with real attention, assuming a martial stance similar to classic Saiyan battle form. His ki surged steadily.
To Lin Hao, Golden Frieza's combat power was around 100 in relative scale stronger than his Namek form but still within reach. He didn't even need full power Super Saiyan 4. (He recalled miscalculating earlier—his full-power Super Saiyan 5 was only around 450, not over 2,000.)
"Damn Saiyan monkey!"
Golden Frieza roared, appearing in front of Lin Hao with the same blitz he used against Vegeta.
"Boom!"
But Lin Hao instantly recognized Frieza wasn't using even 70% of his true speed. He still tried the same probing tactic he used against Goku when testing his stamina.
To Lin Hao's eyes, his movements were nearly turtle-slow.
With a casual motion, he redirected Frieza's fist and countered with a heavy punch straight into his face.
"Bang!"
Frieza's cheek smashed into Lin Hao's fist, momentarily dazing him. His plan to gauge his opponent backfired instantly.
Enraged, Frieza burst out his full golden aura the same unstable ki shown in the manga that rapidly drains stamina and launched a fierce barrage.
Feeling the spike of Frieza's full power, Lin Hao didn't dare stay in base. Golden Frieza's full strength rivaled Goku's Super Saiyan Blue during their early clash.
Instantly, Lin Hao exploded into Super Saiyan 4, crimson fur covering his body, his aura blazing.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Their fists collided across the sky, but Golden Frieza found himself heavily suppressed, just as he was overwhelmed by Vegeta's Blue form.
"Damn it how is this Saiyan so strong? And what kind of transformation is this?!" Frieza thought frantically while being pummeled.
Looking at Super Saiyan 4 Lin Hao a form resembling a primal Oozaru hybrid he grew increasingly confused. He had never seen this form in the manga and it terrified him.
He originally thought he could kill Lin Hao easily with his Golden form, but now he was being beaten like he was against Vegeta.
Meanwhile, Lin Hao didn't care what Frieza thought. As Super Saiyan 4, he wasn't even warmed up. Golden Frieza was beneath him, and the fight felt dull. He knew from the start that Frieza wasn't his opponent.
"..."
Catching the moment Frieza's thoughts drifted, Lin Hao struck with a powerful kick, sending him tumbling through the sky. He immediately followed with a concentrated ki wave.
"Boom boom!"
"It's honestly boring, Frieza. This is all you gained after four months of intense training?" Lin Hao said, stopping his assault and staring into the crater below.
"If that's everything, then there's no point continuing. I'll send you back to where you belong."
"Boom!"
With a violent burst of golden light, Frieza shot out of the crater, hovering at maximum altitude, panting heavily just like when Goku exploited his stamina weakness.
"Damn Saiyan monkey! You dare look down on me?! Then I'll destroy you and this Earth together!"
"Aha!"
Frieza screamed in fury.
"Go to hell, you filthy Saiyan monkey!"
A massive crimson energy sphere his evolved Supernova formed in Frieza's palm. But Lin Hao didn't flinch. His ki roared as he drew his hands back in the Kamehameha stance, identical to Goku's iconic pose.
"Supernova—Death Energy Bomb!!"
"Ten-times… Kamehameha!!"
Lin Hao shouted, his blue ki rapidly shifting red from sheer intensity similar to Goku's x10 Kamehameha in Super Saiyan Blue.
"Boom!"
The two colossal attacks collided, clashing in violent shockwaves.
"I won't lose!"
Frieza roared, pouring more energy into the sphere, forcing it closer to Lin Hao.
But Lin Hao remained calm. Frieza was strong but he was stronger.
"Frieza… go back to the underworld where you belong."
Golden flames erupted around Lin Hao as he channeled the rest of his power. The ten-times Kamehameha thickened dramatically, overwhelming Frieza's Supernova and reversing it instantly.
"No… my revenge isn't complete yet!"
Golden Frieza's final scream echoed and then vanished.
This was the last sound Golden Frieza ever made.
