The pirate's question caught Vinsmoke Judge by surprise. After a brief pause, he quickly recovered and gestured toward his daughter.
"This is my daughter, Vinsmoke Reiju!" he announced proudly.
The Beasts Pirates crewmate glanced at Reiju, and his expression immediately shifted to one of respect. "Reiju-sama," he said with a bow, "please come with us."
Reiju looked confused. She hesitated, turning to her father for guidance. Judge was also unsure why they wanted to take his daughter away by herself.
"May I ask what you need my daughter for?" he asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice.
If it were anyone else asking, the pirate probably wouldn't have bothered with a polite reply. But knowing this man was Reiju's father, he answered respectfully. "You must be Vinsmoke Judge-sama. You may not be aware, but Lord Kaido has appointed Reiju-sama as the General of the Kibi region in Wano Country. Today is the official coronation ceremony for all the new Generals. We need to help Reiju-sama prepare so she can appear at the ceremony looking her best."
The answer left both Judge and Reiju stunned. A moment later, a look of pure, unrestrained joy spread across Judge's face. Although he didn't know much about Wano, he knew that the Generals were the rulers of the country. For Reiju to be appointed as one meant that Kaido valued her far more than he had ever imagined. This was a massive step forward for his own ambitions.
"I see," Judge said, his voice filled with excitement. "Reiju, you should go with them."
"Yes, Father," she replied. With a graceful leap, Reiju jumped from her family's ship onto the Beasts Pirates' vessel.
The crewmate then turned back to Judge. "Please don't worry, Judge-sama. Your ship will be guided into the port shortly. Lord Kaido is already waiting for you up in Wano."
Hearing that he was about to meet the Yonko himself, Judge's nervousness returned.
Led by the Beasts Pirates' ship, Reiju's vessel navigated through the dangerous currents and hidden reefs. Soon, the full, breathtaking view of Wano Country came into sight. It was Reiju's first time seeing the isolated nation, and the massive waterfall that shielded it from the outside world was a shocking sight.
As they approached the waterfall, a female pirate in traditional Wano attire came over and held an umbrella over Reiju's head. Reiju was startled for a moment.
"Reiju-sama, my name is Tame," the woman said with a warm, enthusiastic smile. "Lady Black Maria sent me to assist you. We're about to pass through the waterfall to enter the hidden port. Please be careful not to get your clothes wet."
"Thank you," Reiju replied, still a bit taken aback by the attention.
"It's my honor," Tame said cheerfully. "You are one of the Tobi Roppo of our Beasts Pirates, a high-ranking officer, and now the General of Kibi. Serving you is a privilege."
Although Tame's polite demeanor was similar to that of the clone servants in the Germa Kingdom, Reiju could feel a distinct difference. Tame's enthusiasm wasn't programmed; it was genuine. She was a person with her own thoughts and feelings—a person who was free.
Just as Tame said, the ship passed directly through the crashing waterfall and entered the calm port behind it. Tame then led Reiju to the rising gondola. As the heavy chains pulled them upward, the light from above grew brighter, and the world of Wano opened up before her.
Unlike the chaotic sea outside, the country that appeared before Reiju was beautiful and peaceful. She saw lush green forests, towering mountains, and a calm sea that reflected the sky like a mirror. It was a paradise.
"Is this Wano Country?" Reiju whispered in awe.
Tame, standing beside her, smiled, pleased by Reiju's reaction. "That's right, Reiju-sama. This is Wano, and from now on, it will be your home."
"Home?"
The word caught Reiju off guard, stirring something deep inside her. Before she had time to process the thought, a carriage pulled by two large, red raptors arrived to meet them.
The carriage took her to the General's Residence in the Flower Capital. The entire place was buzzing with activity as servants rushed to make final preparations for the coronation ceremony. Before Reiju could even take in the beauty of the capital, she was quickly led inside the palace.
An elderly woman from Wano and a group of servants were assigned to help her get ready. After looking Reiju over, the old woman began selecting a suitable General's uniform for her.
"Excuse me, Reiju-sama," she said with a bow. "Girls, let's get to work!"
An hour later, Reiju stood in front of a mirror, looking at her reflection. She was wearing a stunning outfit that was both beautiful and imposing. A pink kimono served as the base layer, covered by intricate white and purple armor. Even she had to admit she looked incredible.
"Beautiful, truly beautiful!" the old woman exclaimed, deeply satisfied with her work.
At that moment, Tame walked back into the room. Her eyes widened when she saw the transformed Reiju. "You look so beautiful, Reiju-sama!" she gushed, her eyes sparkling. "Lord Kaido certainly has a good eye! You truly are one of the world's greatest beauties!"
The high praise made Reiju blush slightly. Tame quickly remembered her task.
"Reiju-sama, please follow me," she said. "The other four Generals are already waiting for you. You will all greet Lord Kaido and the citizens of Wano together."
"Alright," Reiju nodded.
Led by Tame and surrounded by a group of female attendants, Reiju walked through a long corridor and entered a massive, lavishly decorated wooden hall. As soon as she stepped inside, three sets of eyes turned to look at her.
Reiju looked up nervously. In the vast hall, three other young men and women were seated, all dressed in splendid armor just like her. She noticed four seats arranged in a row, with the one on the far right empty—clearly her spot. Above these four seats were two larger, more ornate chairs, both currently empty.
Tame began the introductions. She pointed to a young woman in blue and white striped armor, seated second from the left.
"Reiju-sama, this is Lady Ulti. Like you, she is one of the Tobi Roppo. She is now the General of Hakumai."
Next, she gestured to a burly man in yellow and green striped armor in the third seat.
"This is Lord Sasaki, also one of the Tobi Roppo. He is the new General of Kuri."
Finally, she indicated the young man in the leftmost seat, who wore white and green armor.
"And this is Lord Page One, another of the Tobi Roppo. He is the General of Ringo."
Tame paused before continuing. "In addition to them, there is the General of the Flower Capital, who is also the General-in-Chief of all of Wano: Lady Kurozumi Tama. She is Lord Kaido's daughter, but she is with her father right now. With you, the new General of Kibi, all five Generals for today's coronation are now present."
