Thaddeus watches with some amount of amusement as Daisy Johnson, SHIELD Agent, comes to terms with the realization that her boss had all but effectively pimped her out by sending her on this mission. Unlike Agent May, who had been very focused on her mission until Thaddeus got her on her back and rocked her world seven ways to Sunday, Daisy is… cute. And clearly still a bit inexperienced all things considered.
On the one hand, she'd accidentally ruined Natasha's surprise by blurting out that part about him knocking the red head up. On the other hand, Natasha wouldn't have even known she was pregnant for a few more weeks if it wasn't for Daisy inadvertently revealing it to the other woman.
In the end, if Natasha wanted to take issue with Daisy spilling the beans or had any plans for getting revenge… Thaddeus would leave her to it. He personally had no issues with the cute young SHIELD Agent.
That said, news of his firstborn wasn't the only thing Daisy had brought with her. While Natasha had of course informed Thaddeus and Emma of everything going down on Earth that she knew about, having Daisy give her own perspective on the situation had been as helpful as it was… disconcerting.
It was one thing for the Professor and his X-Men to be hunting for Emma. They had prior experience with the Phoenix after all, and Charles Xavier still thought that Sage was working for him. Combine that with the fact that they'd absconded with three other female X-Men in the form of Cessily, Laura, and Kitty on their way out, and frankly… it made a lot of sense that they were Priority Number One.
However, it was a little irritating that She-Hulk and the Avengers had been roped into things too. Admittedly, Thaddeus probably could have guessed that such a thing would happen… as far as the X-Men were concerned, he and everyone else who had disappeared alongside Emma Frost were her victims. But still… it did complicate matters somewhat, didn't it?
Finally, Daisy seems to come to a conclusion. Swallowing thickly, she squirms for a moment before biting her lower lip and looking at him in a way Thaddeus is VERY familiar with.
"W-Well then… I suppose at this point it would just be unprofessional if I d-didn't fuck you, wouldn't it?"
Thaddeus can't help but snort in amusement. If there was one thing he'd learned about Daisy Johnson so far, it was that she had quite the way with words. Still, he would be lying if he said he wasn't attracted to her. Sure, Thaddeus didn't really have a 'type' other than 'attractive woman', but Daisy still hit plenty of those generalized boxes anyways.
Despite the SHIELD Uniform and rather cool vibration manipulation powers, Daisy gave off something of a 'Girl-Next-Door' vibe to her.
Maybe that's why he doesn't want to take her up on her offer right then and there. For some reason, he wants to spend a bit more time 'wooing' her first. Or maybe… he just wants to mess with her a little. As a treat.
When she keeps looking at him expectantly, Thaddeus consciously twists his expression in surprise.
"What, right now? We should at least get to know each other a bit more first, don't you think? Hell, we haven't even finished the tour of the moon base yet. I'm not the kind of guy to just bend you over up against the nearest wall and plow you silly, Daisy."
That, of course, is a bald-faced lie. Thaddeus is one hundred percent the type of guy to do that sort of thing. Daisy doesn't entirely know that though and the bright red blush that spreads across her face is hilarious as she stutters and stammers, nodding rapidly.
"R-Right… o-of course. I didn't… I wasn't trying to… I mean, y-yeah you're right… let's at least finish the tour…"
He feels a little bad for messing with her, but at the same time… well, it's not like either of them are going anywhere right? Besides, a little bit of build up can make the climax all the more enjoyable, can't it?
To be fair, there's not much of the moon base left to show Daisy at this point anyways. In fact, the only part that's left is the parts with actual people in them which Thaddeus had been avoiding until he could get a feel for the SHIELD Agent. Now that he thinks he understands her pretty well…
"Come on, this way. I might as well introduce you to some of the others."
"… Yes… that sounds… great."
She sounds rather dejected and like she's trying to hide it. It takes every fiber of Thaddeus' being not to laugh and for the first time in a while, he finds himself wondering if he's not a good person. Shaking off the feeling though, he guides Daisy down the hall and takes a left, soon arriving at the moon base's living quarters.
Truth be told, he's not sure who they're going to run into when he heads over here. Sage has been spending most of her time either with Emma or the moon base's computer systems, which she had easily made her bitch at this point in a way that even Thaddeus and Emma, despite having all of the relevant codes, could not.
Meanwhile, the others had split into pairs of two. Cessily and Laura on one side, Kitty and Illyana on the other. Of the two pairs, Thaddeus supposed if he had to choose, he would rather Daisy meet Cessily and Laura first. After all, while Kitty wasn't his biggest critic in the universe, she probably was his biggest critic here on the moon.
Alas, his literal super luck apparently doesn't agree with Thaddeus because the pair they actually wind up running into… is Kitty and Illyana.
"Oh! Who's this?"
The female mutants stop and stare at Daisy, who in turn stops and stares back at them. Thaddeus just smiles and does introductions.
"This is Agent Daisy Johnson with SHIELD. And these are Kitty and Illyana."
Daisy hesitantly nods.
"Uh… nice to meet you?"
Kitty exchanges a look with Illyana, who just shrugs back at her. Finally, Kitty looks back and frowns.
"Nice to meet you too… but what exactly is a SHIELD Agent doing on the moon?"
This prompts Daisy to glance at Thaddeus but he just smiles and nods encouragingly.
"Well… Director Fury has tasked me with liaising with Mister Cummings and Miss Frost during this, um… ongoing crisis."
Showing Daisy a little mercy, Thaddeus elaborates.
"Your team down on Earth tried to rope SHIELD into helping them hunt down Emma but we already have our own connections with SHIELD so things have reached a bit of a stalemate at the moment. Still, at a bare minimum Director Fury is willing to give us enough rope to hang ourselves with. Daisy here is that rope… if things go awry for her, he'll know we have bad intentions after all."
It takes Kitty a moment to process all of that before finally nodding in reluctant understanding. Obviously, she's rather uncomfortable when it comes to this whole situation. Thaddeus can't even blame her. She's easily the most loyal to the X-Men of everyone they have with them on the Moon.
However, she's also not going to betray them, at least not any time soon. If she wanted to, she would have already tried to convince Illyana to use her own teleportation powers to bring Kitty back to Earth so that she could spill the beans to the Professor and the others about where they were.
Thaddeus and Emma had been half expecting that exact thing to happen… or at least for Kitty to make the attempt anyways. It was a coin flip between whether Illyana would allow herself to be convinced or not. While she'd chosen to stick with Thaddeus after everything, she'd also become fast friends with Kitty, who was in turn an alternate version of the woman who had played a hand in raising Illyana from childhood.
He liked to think Illyana would still choose him over Kitty if the latter tried to force her hand, but Thaddeus couldn't say with absolute certainty or anything. Ultimately it had yet to be an issue because so far, Kitty hadn't even made the attempt.
Although…
"I… I see. M-Maybe I should go back to Earth and tell them it's fine? I could explain the situation isn't as apocalyptic as they think it is and convince them all to stand down."
Thaddeus raises an eyebrow. Rather than going behind his back, Kitty was outright asking for permission. That certainly wasn't what either he or Emma expected… but it was certainly appreciated. He revises his opinion of the female mutant up a bit more, even as he shakes his head with a smile.
"I appreciate the offer Kitty, but if anyone is going to go down to Earth to straighten things up, I figure it should probably be me. After all, the moment that they have you… they'll be able to look in your mind and know exactly where we are."
Kitty immediately shakes her head.
"That's not… I don't think the Professor would do that."
But Thaddeus just raises an eyebrow, a little unimpressed with her. To be fair, Kitty hadn't even sounded sure of her own words there.
"Of course he would do that, Kitty. He would have to in order to make sure your mind hadn't been tampered with, wouldn't he? And from there, he'd find out we're on the Moon and be able to tell everyone else. Which I don't think would end well for anyone."
Grimacing now, Kitty squirms for a moment. Thaddeus lets her to do briefly before continuing on.
"Right now… I think it's best if we let things die down a bit more right? The more time that passes without anything catastrophic taking place, the harder it should be for them to all remain convinced that Emma and the Phoenix are going to end the world at any second."
Kitty reluctantly inclines her head in agreement.
"That's… a fair point, yeah. I just… I know they're all running around down there scared out of their minds. Especially the ones who were there when Jean… well. I just wish there was a way to explain things to them without exposing everyone to unnecessary risk, I guess."
That was a laudable desire, truth be told. Thaddeus just nods back, wishing it was possible too. Hell, maybe he SHOULD go down to Earth at some point in the coming days and try to get the X-Men and the Avengers to take a chill pill or something. Given his immunity to telepathic intrusions as well as his ability to teleport wherever he wanted, he would be safer than anyone else to do so…
"Well if we aren't going to do anything like that, can we fuck instead?"
The question comes entirely out of left field while Thaddeus is deep in thought, so he does jolt a little bit. However, his reaction isn't nearly as strong as Kitty and Daisy's as both women choke on their own spit and whip their heads over to Illyana… who was, of course, the one who had bluntly asked such a question in the middle of a conversation with other people.
Before Kitty can fully recover, Daisy beats her to it and once again lets her mouth run away with her thoughts.
"Y-Yes! I mean… I would certainly be up f-for that sort of thing… if that's what we d-do for fun around here."
Now its Kitty and Illyana who are giving Daisy weird looks. The latter just raises a brow as she eyes Daisy up and down assessingly for a long moment before humming in consideration.
"When I said 'we', I meant Thaddeus and I to be clear. However… you are not visually unappealing. If you're interested in joining us, then you are welcome to."
Then, she looks to Kitty.
"Will you be joining us as well?"
Kitty sputters, her eyes wide and her face red. It's not like she and Thaddeus haven't fucked before to be fair… hell, it's not like Kitty hasn't watched him fuck other women too… because the voyeuristic mutant definitely has. She's still clearly caught off guard by the sudden proposition, especially considering they were just talking about far more serious stuff a few moments ago.
"I… I mean…"
Her eyes flick from Illyana to Daisy and finally to Thaddeus. She bites her lower lip as her gaze lingers on him… specifically on his chest and the rest of him.
"… Fuck me. Fine, yes, I'm in."
Thaddeus just chuckles, even as all three women look at him expectantly. Well… they were literally in the hall outside of the living quarters. Thaddeus supposed he could fuck all three of them into a stupor, giving Daisy a taste of just what sort of fun she could expect while 'liaising' with him and Emma, and then go find Emma to talk about their next steps afterwards.
Though… he did feel a little bad now. How had him teasing Daisy and making her wait a little longer turn into an impromptu foursome? Oh, it wasn't like Thaddeus was going to turn it down or anything like that… that was never in the cards.
However, should he at least make sure Illyana and Kitty knew the focus would be on Daisy given it was his first time with her? Or should he just give all three women equal amounts of attention and make it clear to Daisy by doing so that he was not the kind of man who played favorites?
Hmmm…
