Chapter 80 - Chapter 80

"Don't play dumb, you know what I mean."

"I just think that Miss Yukinoshita is a good friend."

"There has never been a man beside Yukinoshita Haruno. Mrs. Yukinoshita must have known about your appearance for a long time."

"Poor Hayama."

After Akira finished speaking, he stood up and prepared to leave.

Seeing this, Hiratsuka also rose.

The two of them ran toward Sakurasou.

.....

What does the perfect girlfriend look like?

Answer: Yukinoshita Yukino.

(T/N: Any woman that trust you)

When Akira returned home, Yukino was already in the kitchen.

"The driver is on the way. I've also contacted Ebina-san. I might be a little busy today, so you can go find Yuigahama-san," Yukino said softly as she prepared the meal.

"Yukino, I'm looking forward to our married life. I will definitely be very happy then," Akira said with a smile.

Hearing this, Yukino's pretty face turned red, she glared at Akira but didn't deny or argue.

Akira walked toward the room with a smile, took his clothes, and went to the bathroom.

The breakfast was completed, by the time Akira came out.

He looked at Yukino, her hair tied in a ponytail, and gently hugged her from behind.

"Don't waste my time. After breakfast, I'm going to the Flash Animation studio," Yukino reminded him.

"If I didn't wasted a minute of your time. I may not have the chance to hug you in the next few days," Akira said softly.

"The key… I can give you the spare key," Yukino whispered, her voice very low.

"Really? Then give it to me on Monday." After speaking, Akira released her.

Yukino's face was slightly red, and she sat next to Akira.

The two ate breakfast in silence.

After finish eating, Yukino left. She wanted to go home to change before heading to the Flash Animation studio.

Ebina Hina had already boarded the train and would wait for Yukino in front of the station.

Akira was free, but he did not go to find Yuigahama Yui. Instead, he continued to work on his painting of Non Non Biyori.

This painting session lasted until noon.

Perhaps because his painting skills had improved, his speed increased significantly, and he no longer felt as sleepy as before.

This confirmed one of his earlier hypotheses: the drowsiness came from the high concentration of mental energy, not from memory enhancement.

For instance, with painting, Akira needed full concentration to perform well at first, which consumed a lot of his mental energy.

Of course, "mental energy" was a broad term; it could also be described as brainpower. Simply put, as one mastered a skill, it required less energy.

Eventually, Akira realized that once a skill was mastered, he could use it at will without excessive strain. The same applied to painting, piano, tennis, and other activities.

"If it's like this…" he murmured.

...

After lunch in the courtyard, Akira changed clothes and left Sakurasou.

He took the train to his destination, a tall building with an angel's staircase inside.

After entering and taking the elevator, he arrived at the door of a bar.

"Fujimiya-sama," the two waiters greeted, bowing.

Akira nodded and walked toward the bar.

Even during the day, there were people inside. Many women wore long skirts and makeup.

He glanced at them briefly and then looked away. Compared to them, he was more interested in the piano; that was his real purpose.

As he approached the piano, a woman in professional attire approached him.

"Hello, I am the person in charge of this bar, Hanada Yui," she said.

"Hello, Miss Hanada," Akira replied. He couldn't help but glance at her again.

Unlike the other women, she wore light makeup that highlighted her natural beauty. She was dressed like a white-collar worker, not like a bar manager.

"Fujimiya-sama, if you are interested in them, I can help you," Hanada Yui said, noticing his gaze.

"I'm not interested in them," Akira shook his head.

"So you are…"

"I'm here to practice piano and drink a little. Just make me a something, that won't make me drunk," Akira said, sitting in front of the piano.

Hanada Yui bowed and turned to leave. She thought Akira might be the person Yukinoshita Haruno wanted to approach. Now it seemed… not?

As she walked, she recalled Haruno's instructions: if Akira comes, call her.

She quickly called Yukinoshita Haruno.

"Has Akira-kun arrived at the bar?" Haruno answered.

"Yes. Fujimiya-sama just arrived, he said he wanted to practice piano, and asked for a glass of wine that wouldn't make him drunk. I said I would create an opportunity for him if he like any ladies, but he said he wasn't interested," Yui reported honestly.

"Of course he's not interested. His girlfriend is my sister, do you understand?" Haruno said lightly.

"I… I understand, I am very sorry" Yui's face turned pale.

"No need to apologize. I didn't tell you because I wanted to see if Akira would have such an idea. Now it seems he and Yukino are progressing smoothly. Try your best to keep him at the bar. I'll come around six this evening," Haruno said with a smile.

"Yes." Yui breathed a sigh of relief.

...

When it comes to piano music, Akira mostly listened to anime songs. Unfortunately, he only knew the names of popular piano pieces, not how to play them.

In fact, this was beneficial. Given his current piano skills, it would have been absurd if he could play those difficult compositions.

His piano ability was at an elementary level, enough to imitate and accompany, but not to perform at an advanced standard.

Yet the elementary level seemed sufficient to attract attention.

A purple-haired woman stood next to Akira as he was playing the piano, holding a wine glass, a ring on her finger, her face flushed from drinking.

When she approached, Akira glanced at her and ignored her.

He didn't realize that this glance piqued her interest.

After finishing his piece, the woman leaned over and whispered, "Want to make some money? I'll give you 100,000 yen if you take me to my room."

"I'm not interested. Neither your money nor you," Akira said without turning his head.

"I am very interested in you. If you are willing, I can give you a lot of money. You only need to accompany me when I need you," she said with a smile.

"Do you know the owner of this bar?" Akira asked, turning to her.

"Of course. Miss Yukinoshita Haruno. Everyone here knows her." She froze for a moment and said.

"Are you planning to become her enemy?" Akira asked lightly.

The woman paused, then smiled awkwardly, turned and begin to walk away.

"Fujimiya-sama, your wine." Hanada Yui appeared respectfully beside him.

"...Thank you," Akira said, taking the glass and turning back to the piano.

Hanada Yui silently watched the purple-haired woman leave.

"That woman's husband had an accident before, and she inherited a fortune of several hundred million yen and a house," Yui whispered.

"I'm not interested," Akira replied, continuing to play.

Yui tactfully stepped away.

...

By the afternoon, Akira's piano skills had improved considerably.

Once he mastered the basics, he could play songs in his mind, and his performance became smoother.

From elementary to intermediate, he could now handle more complex pieces. Advanced pieces or exams would require more practice, but his goal was merely to acquire a skill, not to compete.

After checking the time, Akira went to the bathroom.

A few minutes later, as he walked out, he suddenly heard an elegant piano music.

After listening for a few seconds, he could judge the player's level: advanced and experience.
